This book is practical because it draws on examples from Jennifer’s classroom. Also, thinking about ways to expand talk in a classroom can be challenging or overwhelming, but Jennifer helps you think about practical ways to support meaningful talk throughout the year with specific examples of how to teach children to listen and respond to one another. I highly recommend this book!
