Excellent bite sized lists with some funny and insightful debates from the Match of the Day cast.
Lineker, Shearer and Micah have loads of friendly digs throughout which keeps it light and fun.
You may not agree with all the results but this was a fascinating and insightful look into 100s of aspects of the beautiful game.

An enjoyable read as a football fan of the Premier League era and more so with the banter style among the 3 ex-players in which the list of the top 10s are compiled. Brings back a lot of memories indeed.

This match of the day book is one of my favourite books I have read this year so far. Like the show and the podcast, Gary, Alan and Micah discuss many topics and rank their top tens. Like you would expect, Shearer is in many of these lists. There is even a topic that discusses the top ten Shearer goals. It is a very interesting and funny book but whereas in the show and podcast, they don't really bounce off each other much and that would be my only criticism. There are still many stories and anecdotes from their own playing careers which is nice to read about. This book is a positive, easy and well structured read that I would recommend to anyone who has enjoyed watching this trio together before.
