Flatmates

Rate this book
The start of my college career wasn’t at all what I expected. After moving into the ‘brohouse’ during my first semester, I found my three terrible RoomHates had somehow turned into my sexy Roommates. Over the next semester our new relationships blossomed, until we hit a snag with Hunter’s struggles with addiction. But the four of us stuck together, and stuck it out until we made it through to the other side.

Now, with each of us having our own reasons, we’re off to Paris for a semester. Does that now make us Flatmates? And how will the City of Love affect our budding romances moving forward?

I really enjoyed the first two books, but I DNF this one. It just went down hill and Rachel just irritates me, all she seems to do is cry at everything. I just felt the story wasn’t going anywhere anymore.
I’m quite sad actually and I binged to the first one and hoped the rest would be the same

It Was Okay

Honestly, I’m still not really sure how I feel about this book because Rachel really got the crap and for a lot of it. With two of the boys taking out their anger on her and trying to hurt her with their words. I don’t understand why communication is such a problem with them, and I really hate the Miscommunication Trope, which almost made me DNF, this book.
I do have to admit that I really like Alex’s character though and I almost kind of wish that he was part of their trio, and also became one of Rachel’s boyfriends because he seemed like he was nice and I liked him.
Also, I know it’s kind of too late now, but literally the last liner to one of the words is supposed to be realized, but it’s written as release.
I really hope the attitude of the three men change In the next book. Hunter was surprisingly the best one out of all of them. Interested to see how they’re going to handle the stress of everything.
Also, I realize Rachel gets the crap and a lot but it would be nice if she wasn’t really such a crybaby. I think she spent more than half of the Day, which wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t so sudden some of the times. Like you’re telling me this girl can’t hold in her tears until she gets by herself at least some of the time. I just know when I cry the last thing I want is for anyone to see me crying and she just kind of cries whenever and anywhere.
Also I wish the author would stop using womanhood it’s just so cringey.

More crying and conflict

I have read the last 3 books in this series and will be reading the next one. Overall, I have liked the books. Rachel cries too much in each one, all the guys each have their own angsty issues (hence why Rachel cries so much), but it is an entertaining read!

Rachel's former friend, Lauren's attitude was quite unnerving. Why would she continue to harass and be nasty to her when there were so many others supporting Rachel with her incident with Josh? She couldn't bring herself to support her once friend with this evidence?

This book covered both Seth and Lucas' issues, just like the last book covered Hunter's. I also am anxious to read about a new roommate in the next book. There were plenty of steamy sexy scenes, which is much appreciated. I would definitely recommend the series, but beware of a lot of crying and high emotions (including a lot of anger, but also love).

Rachel and the guys are on the way to Paris for Rachel’s internship and Seth’s marathon. They have big plans to explore and spend some time together, but once they’re there everything kind of falls apart. There is a lot of drama in this books between Lucas’ parents, Seth’s rival and a surprise at the internship. I liked this story, but- and this could have been because I read the three books back to back - but i feel like a lot could have been resolved by them talking. I’ve noticed I’m the books that there are a lot of - “oh, I should talk to him/her/them, but I’ll do it later” but later doesn’t happen and things fall apart. For whatever reason, it bothered me a little more in this book. I did love Hunter - he is really focused on his recovery and I loved seeing him deal with his triggers, but also be there for Rachel. There are some steaming scenees. I will be checking out book 4 - I really want to see what’s going to happen after that ending :)

Awesome Book!!!

I loved reading Flatmates(Life in the Brohouse Book3)!!! All about Rachel Miller a college freshman studying art & roommates/boyfriends Seth Garcia a college junior who is a runner, Lucas Brent a college junior who is a rower & Hunter who is a college junior and also the quarterback. They’ve had a rough winter, but summer is shaping up to be spectacular. Rachel is going to Paris for an exclusive internship at the Louvre. The bro’s can’t live without her, so they are all going to Paris. Seth is on a grant to race the Paris marathon, Hunter needs a break with his mom dying, so his dad is footing the bill so he can be with his friends. And Lucas is going to bum around writing and enjoying the. It’s of love with his girlfriend and his bro’s. Read about Rachel & her bro’s and see if Paris is all it’s cracked up to be, or will life get in the way!! Lots so emotions and plenty of toe curling is going on. Can’t wait to read book four!!! Definite Read!!!!

I absolutely adore everything about Carmen Black's Life In The Brohouse Series.

Lucas, Hunter, Seth and Rachel aren't done with their journey yet, however, this publication sees them coming together, after another difficult time in their lives. Personally, I think, this has been my favorite release yet.

Should you love fictional romance which comes with compelling characters, and a riveting storyline, then please, follow this foursome, as they face their fears, desires as well as real life issues, along the way. From Colorado to Paris, and back, these characters grow immensely; both together and individually.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Flatmates in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion. I strongly recommend reading this release, as well as the Series as a whole. Incredible.

This 3rd book in a series of at least 4 books has a story of unlikely 4 roommates of 3 men and one woman. They deal with issues of college and life's hardships while in a relationship with each other while in Paris each for their own reasons, but for the 3 men it was to be with her. Their story starts in book 1, RoomHates, continues in RoomMates and these should be read prior to this book. These stories were amazing and how they try to help each other with problems each face. This story has realistic and heartbreaking problems, but this story has problems with families also. This story will pull at all your emotions and let you feel everything these characters feel. This good book 3 will entertain you and I cannot wait until the next one.

Rachel and her boys are back and this time they are in Paris. However, it seems that they still have problems to overcome. Rachel has started her internship but is working with an old friend, Lucas is having to deal with his parents expectations, Seth realises that he has competition for his marathon and Hunter is still struggling with his addition and needs to find something to keep himself busy.

Will they be able to make it through the summer together?

This is the 3rd book in the series, you will need to read the other books to have a better understanding of the storyline. I would recommend reading this book and I am looking forward to what is next in store for the characters.

Still my favourite quartet. Is there a name for a four person relationship? Ah quad, thank you google.
In Paris for the summer Rachel and the bros are realising life isn’t always a bed of roses. Rachel has her internship, Lucas’s privileged lifestyle is at stake, Seth feels pressured to win the marathon and Hunter is dealing with past issues.
What I like about the storyline in this series is that it is grounded in reality. I can see how a girl sharing an apartment with three guys in college could end up involved with each of them. Relationship aside though, we get an authentic feel for their lives. The struggles and the hardships, but also the love and support they have for each other.

I received an arc for an honest review

Life in the Brohouse - Book 3: The friends Lucas, Hunter, Seth and Rachel move to Paris for a few months. Rachel and Hunter have internships, Seth needs to win the Paris Marathon, and Lucas also is supposed to learn from one of his father's associates.
But trouble is coming their way in disguise and life becomes quite uncomfortable for a while.
There is a storyline to the book of young people growing up, spreading their wings, and finding out, where they need to oppose their elders, and when to be ready to compromise. In between are some lovely scenes of their ménage lifestyle, that bring some light-heartedness to the original story.

Good Book

I have enjoyed their story so far and their relationship growing, however waiting for a conclusion is taking too long and a book 4 due out in October doesn’t even state if this is the final book.
I feel the author could condensed 4 books in to two and maybe doesn’t realise some readers are looking forward to a story but also want to know an end date is coming.
The issues with drugs, parents, careers etc can only go for so long and I feel maybe this 3rd book should have given some closure.
Like I say I like the story and characters and the four of them are good together but not knowing how many more books there are can be off putting to some readers.

The number of times I had to read ‘site seeing’ instead of sightseeing in this book was astounding. It killed me every single time. I enjoy these books and the characters but honestly…. There’s a bit of character building going on but not a whole heap of relationship building going on… it feels like they barely even speak to each other outside of sex. I’m glad some of the guys got some one on one in this book.
Also what’s up with Rachel crying every 5 seconds and what the hell did she think an unpaid internship was besides being a shitkicker??? She thought she’d get a prestigious Louvre job when she’s barely even an art student??
I was surprised by Alex.

Seth, Hunter, Lucas and Rachel are in Paris for the summer. Rachel feels at a lost. When they all fell asleep for 22 hours. She wanted to get started on her list before her internship started. Lucas has always known that his life was not really his. Lucas doesn't like is father or mother. They want him to go into Law and that's not what he wants. The only thing that has made Lucas feel is writing. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. Overall I have enjoyed the story. However you would think after what happened with Hunter in book 2 they would have had better communication. Rachel needs to get a better backbone while dealing with the bros. She has spent so much time crying over them throughout all 3 books so far. The bros need to man up and really start treating Rachel with more respect. Looking forward to the next book and hopefully another of issues will be resolved.

Off to Paris . . .

This book picks up the story line of Book 2 and we see Rachel and the guys, Seth, Lucas, and Hunter, heading to Paris for a semester. How will romantic Paris affect their lives as they become “flatmates”? When problems arise, things get a little shaky. Will conflicts cause the group to dissolve and one or more go their own way? Or will they again each find a way to fit into their place in what they are creating and begin to work out the roadblocks they may encounter along the way?

This is the third book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order as each sequel picks up where the previous one left off. This book focused on the group going to Paris for Rachel's internship. Each of her guys has their own things going on while in Paris too, and their situations all add to the drama of the visit there. But is also adds another element to their relationship and helps it build. But of course, nothing is all fun and games, there is a lot of drama on this trip and an extra surprise when they get home from Paris, which is where the next book will pick up.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I loved this continuation of Rachel, Seth, Hunter and Lucas's adventure. This is the third book dealing with her internship in Paris at the Louvre Museum. Each of the guys had decided to tag along for their own reasons, just to hang with Rachel. Seth will train for a marathon, Hunter will continue therapy and find a hobby and Lucas will do Lucas. But when plans get thrown sideways, thanks to Alex stopping over, it leaves everyone on edge.

Flatmates is the third in this reverse harem series. Rachel is getting along great with her roommates until each run into their own problems. They all follow Rachel to Paris but things don’t all go as planned. A lot of drama with family expectations. LOTS of Heat, but is that enough to make this relationship work? Can’t wait for the next book.

This third book is quite entertaining. It seems that Rachel and her men are still together and having fun though things don't always go expected as planned. The chemistry between them are still steamy hot and sizzling, but sometimes you have to wonder if they can make it last just due to personality conflicts.

This series has gotten slightly better as it has progressed. The struggle in reading this book is that the communication and maturity level of the characters comes and goes depending on what hardships they encounter. The heroine continues to do a lot of crying over the bros and the bros keep wanting her to be their girl. Hope in the next book we get some answers to some of the subplots being given.

If you like reverse harem books, you need to check out this series. They are all in Paris, the city of love. Rachel is working at the Louvre. Lucas’ life is a little more complicated than the others. But they are are in Paris, taking everything in, getting to know more about each other and their new relationship. Sometimes, love isn’t enough; surprises happen beyond our control. Then they get back and a whole new surprise is awaiting them.

Worth the Read!!

I simply am enjoying this series. Flatmates is great and through the ups and downs of what Rachel, Lucas, Seth, and Hunter have endured, I am so glad that they stuck together no matter what. I've already pre-ordered "Another Roommate " and can't wait to see who it will be. I have a hunch that it may be Alex...how exciting would that be 🤗🤗. All three books are a must read!!

What a roller-coaster for Seth, Lucas, Rachel and Hunter, it was mainly set in France and so many things were going wrong for them, there were so many twists and turns for them especially the cliffhanger ending.
I can't wait to see what happens next.

Sizzling Romance

The story continues for Seth, Lucas, Hunter and Rachel in the setting of Paris where romance and progression should be happen….. however with constant tempers flaring and relationships problems things don’t quite go to plan.

Absolutely loved this 3rd book and can’t wait for the 4th instalment.

That was unexpected

This book is similar to the others. Except this time Seth and Lucas have some deep issues they are battling. Hunter is recovering and all of them are off to Paris to have the summer of their life. Or are they? Nothing is easy and this one shows that. However can the four of them get along and battle their issues and survive ??
