I cant tell you the amount of times that ive read a book where the FMC was a mature woman and a younger guy. Sadly its not that much (i can count on one hand how many) which is a shame i think. When Salina decides to dip her toe back into the dating pool after being a widow for 10 years she ends attracting more than she bargained for when she starts talking to Brian/Trenton.
I actually really liked their dynamic. Trenton came across as older than his years and the connection that they had which was flirty and fun was also sweet and caring at times. I loved the way Trenton pushed Salina to broaden her horizons and open herself up to new things. He took the reins in their relationship which to be honest i didnt think he would do but i liked the way that played out in the end. This was a damn fine read with main characters i really loved

I love age gap romances, but I’ve never read one where the woman was older than the male. And Scandal..? Oh my, this was a great start to reading books where the female character is older. However, I will admit that I did not expect the male love interest to be her son’s best friend. Or for said best friend to have harbored a crush since his high school years lol.
Though this was a short story, I think the pacing of their relationship and how the drama unfolded was perfectly timed. Nothing felt rushed and I really enjoyed how the outing of their secret relationship was handled via interview in response to them being outed by a competitor.
It is definitely an enjoyable read.

Brilliant age gap romance.

This book had me hooked from the beginning; starts off with Salina staring at a Nice set of abs and Brian thinking he hit the jackpot with his Spicy Latina. And ends with proof that despite the age gap, outside influences and disparaging remarks love wins.
This taboo age gap takes us the reader on a ride that I myself didn’t want to end.
Ms. Calder has woo’d us again with her spicy writing style and ability to draw the reader into this steamy love story where you can’t help but cheer for Salina & Trenton.

Enjoyed this book, really easy to read and get into the story. Salina is a single mum with a career she enjoys. Her son is keen for his mum to ‘get out there’ and adds her to a dating app. she ends up being matched to a younger guy Brian who she gets chatting to. From here on begins their story., HEA guaranteed. Age-gap romance and dual POV.

This book was an amazing read that I could not put down, no matter what I needed to do I had to continue reading. This book moves along at a pace which makes for an easy read, one that you can lose yourself in. It has interesting characters that you want to know and you cannot help but fall in love with. This book needs to be on your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.

Wonderful and scandalous
This definitely ticked all the boxes for me, for sure! I think it's probably my first reverse age gap, very intriguing 😊 I do wish the BDSM bit had been explained a bit more, and the editing could've been a bit better - both of which are the reasons it isn't a 5 star.... still, a very good story and I'm excited to dig into more from this author 😊

Loved this book! The mother and son were cute together. Enjoyed reading a book where the man was younger (and he is her son's friend, which added more fun taboo to the story). I love a man who treats his woman with respect and worships her. The spice was great! Can't wait to read more by this author.

This was a great read. Although it took a bit to really get into the story, I really enjoyed it.
