TIMELESS: Tattooed Love Book 2

Rate this book
Previously published as Satan's Sons Book Two Amber and Jax Book 2The steamy and dramatic sequel to Tattooed Love by Simone Elise. A lot can change in six years. Jax’s sentence is coming to an end, and Amber has been a ghost since the day she walked off the prison grounds.

With Jax on the outside, and their son becoming more like his father every day, will Amber be able to stay away?

Amber

When I left Jax behind bars I made a promise to myself. I would never let him near my child, or my life, ever again. I’ve kept that promise, leaving behind the biker life and staying hidden from my brothers and most importantly from the man who ripped out my heart. But hiding and moving on are two very different things. How am I supposed to get over someone who’s eyes I stare into every day in the form of my son...my Jack...who is his spitting image? Do I see Jax again? Do I tell him about his boy? With his release just around the corner, I better figure it out pretty damn quick.

Jax

I told her to leave. That was always the deal; if I went away, Amber and I were finished. But a man’s got a lot of time to think in here, and the past years without my girl have been the hardest of my life. Do you know how many days are in 6 years? I do. Because for every single one of those days I’ve had my club searching for the woman I love. The woman I asked to marry me. The woman I kicked out of my life. As soon as these prison gates open, there is only one thing I care about and that is finding my girl, and getting things back to the way things were, just the two of us, no distractions. Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules

This book definitely reeled me in. I read it in less than 24 hours and loved the plot. HOWEVER, I felt like so many subplots began near the end of the book and were never resolved. It kind of felt like some of the subplots were opening so that there could be more books centered around those characters. In addition it felt like the HEA was super rushed and kind of unexplained. Lastly, throughout the entire book you love a certain character and the way they were dismissed was quick and the character’s behavior in this scene was unlike them at all, it was hard to connect that person from who they were the entire book. The ending left me feeling unsatisfied but I had to give it 4 stars because I just couldn’t put it down. It had me so enthralled throughout its entirety so don’t get me wrong, it was great, but the ending was rushed. If you’ve watched game of thrones, it’s basically like that where the show is great but the ending was rushed and unsatisfying but still overall worth it.

Good Book

This is book 2 of 2 and you must read book 2 to understand the story and characters.
I loved both Jax & Amber and their journey however even though Jax broke her heart every time he wanted to talk she just went back to him leaving her and didn’t let him have a chance to speak.
I loved all her brothers and hope they all get their own books. but I’m not sure about Tae, what he said to Jack on the phone about Amber dying and going to live with him in England…. Nothing else happened or was spoken about regarding that and I don’t know why.
Then the ending just seemed too rushed and I still had questions
What happened to Rev ??
Why didn’t Troy take over as King and work from where they were living, we had never heard of Reaper ??
What did Jax do after the incident with Rev ??
What happened to Tae and his threat??
The epilogue just seemed so rushed but hoping they may be mentioned in books with her brothers.
