Check and Mate!!
There are quite a few things that can be said on how good and well written this story was. The writer gives us a compelling mystery, mixed in with that cold dish of revenge. The story is not only well written but thought out as well and execution is just flawless. There is so much one can say about the characters that fleshed out to the point that you want inside the minds or you can envision seeing them and the events unfold.To say I would love to get a look at Jaded surviving and become a private investigator, get a realistic look at Mali become a king and yes a good look at Uncl.Lo.I don't want to give and spoilers away,because I want everyone to read this story about chess!.

Check Mate!!

This book was so good. I was so shocked was the twists and turns. I wouldn’t have guess Kadeem and Mali was the same person. What the hell. In the beginning I can say I was upset with what happen with the kids. I’m my head I was snapping at Kadeem/Mali. I was getting ready to put the book down but something told me to keep reading it. I’m happy that I did. I love the ending. I’m hoping there is a part two to give us a More details on Jaded and Kadeem/Mali childhood and a update with what is going on with them now.
Good job Brick & Storm!! Can’t wait to read more from your guys!!

AMAZING!!!
This 👏🏾book 👏🏾right 👏🏾here 👏🏾tho 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Besides the story just being outright tragic, the authors did a FANTASTIC job of delivering the ultimate unexpected twists of events. Usually by chapter 3 or 4 I have the book all figured out…but not this time. Chapter 28 had me SHOOK and grabbing popcorn while I finished the book. I feel like it’s some potential to have a sequel to this, but we shall see. I am officially a follower. Well done 👍🏾

My mind playing tricks on me..
Lol WOW I’m not sure what I can say without giving spoilers. I absolutely enjoyed it! I called myself trying to remember every single detail, but I never would’ve gotten this conclusion. Overall, I was just happy to get a book by Brick & Storm. Now I’ll just be patiently waiting on the next one. 😩

Action Packed
Enjoyed this book from start to finish I loved all the characters especially Mali. I can't say much about him without spoiling it so lets just say he's a most interesting guy. This story had great action and a great pace. It will keep you on edge. Very enjoyable read!

Good read!
So this was the first book that I’ve read by Brick and it kept my attention. The only reason why I gave the book four stars was because I have to read some of the chapters several times to understand the Mali/Kadeem connection. Throne and Prime got just what they deserved. Uncle Lo was that man. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

weird book
It’s just huh? I didn’t like it at all, it was already a boring read and even with the twist it still was boring like, y’all doing all this for what? I mean I understand revenge but this but was just not my cup of tea. Jaded was stubborn and annoying asf and this book was just booty.

All the Kings Men
Amazing story. If mind manipulation was a game, then so is All the Kings Men. Well written with many twist and turns. I almost felled down the rabbit hole with these characters. There has to be a Part 2. We need to follow up on Kadeem, Uncle Lo and Jaded's lives.

Good read
The plot twist confused me and made it hard to finish the book. It was a good read. I love Uncle Lo but what happened to him at the end? Jaded and Mali characters was tough but I loved their relationship

Wow is all I can say. Brick and Storm did not disappoint. Worthy of the 5 star rating because they really came from the left when you were going to the right. Some tough stuff to get through so definitely not for the faint.

This was definitely different than my usual reads but it was also definitely different. I will say at one point I was lost between the whole Kadeem, Mali situation but then I was like. Got it. Revenge can be so sweet

This was a good. Never read a story with a plot like this. At first I was confused with twist and then a light bulb went off. My first read by this author but will be looking for him and Storm.
