I write stories about the apocalypse so that I don't need to work a real job. I grew up reading Stephen King and still haven't fully recovered. I'm currently ending the world in my new series Under the Breaking Sky.

This is for all the books 0 - 9. I really enjoyed this series. From beginning to the end. I loved the characters, and I especially love it when a villain is so well written, that I personally hate them. Which I find Nick is really good at, and not with just this series. My only issues are minor. Like Dan, it starts out that he’s 14? Then he’s portrayed older, like 19, the same age as Dennis.
And there were a fair amount of loose ends as well. What happened to Sebastian and the survivors in the helicopter? What happened to the chick that stole the car and food on the island ? I also wasn’t a fan of the animal sacrifices, especially the cats. Other than that, this was a great read. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I’ve read so far from Nick. Considering I just started reading his work earlier this year.

I really loved this series..
I loved that no animals died. .
I loved that voodoo started it. .
And I really liked that in the end even Bridgit did not seem as bad as I first thought.

They used to work croaked a lot.. I found that funny,.
This was not the normal zombie story and that was kinda cool..

I chuckled when I read something along the lines of how if they were in America everyone would have guns.. lol. I am in Massachusetts and we have the strictest gun laws sooooo yeah we would of been screwed too lol

I am going to miss these guys.. lol

Wow

The first book was good enough for me to continue. The second book I literally couldn't put down. It was panic inducing, heart pounding, action, and story. The end was absolutely everything I didn't know I needed. As an American I had to learn to not take offense to some of the descriptions. Learning how different we all talk. Not everything is spoke out of malice. I FLIPPING LOVED THIS SERIES!!!!!! Definitely buying the hard copies as well.

I was on the edge of my seat

To be honest the first few pages were a little confusing, but once I understood what was happening it was like woohoo, an awesome wild ride. Read the whole series, and I loved every bit of it.

Great read

Fast-paced action start to finish. What I enjoyed most, you truly never know who will make it. There were a lot of characters who I assumed would all make it out, and only the bad guys were die, nope. So many likable who you were rooting for couldn't survive.

Good read

Some of the typos were distracting but I pushed through and found the story good. Definitely kept my interest all the way to the end.
