I snorted when I read chapter one because Avery is one clumsy girl. She's a sweetheart but girl needs a warning label on her. Our pixie makes a entrance when she falls into a chimney that belongs to one lonely grump name Pax who sees this woman covered in soot and adorable in his eyes. He does growl and wag his finger at her for going on a rooftop of some strange to put Christmas lilights. But these two have some chemistry that they continue to gravitate towards eachother.

Pax wants to give Avery the best Christmas ever filled with decor, coco and his candy cane ;) thier relationship was super fun and flirty plus Pax had to keep on his toes since his woman was accident prone.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

I adore Cameron and Shaw as they are masters at short and sexy novellas with possessive yet uncertain alpha heroes, which I absolutely love. Avery and Paxton's story was cute with the perfect amount of heat. I definitely recommend this Christmas smut-fest ♡

This was really sweet.
And just the perfect amount of Christmasy.

It was also dirty and delicious.

No drama, simple plot, with plenty of steam and enough sweetness to give you toothaches.

I really enjoyed it.

Grumpy teddy bear finds his Christmas angel.

I loved this Christmas holiday story with tons of heart. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Avery and Paxton (Pax) met when she fell down his chimney into his house while trying to decorate his house for Christmas. Pax was sure that she was his angel and wanted to keep her right away. Avery thought that Pax was a big teddy bear and wanted him to keep her. After a small accident threw the two of them together, their relationship exploded very quickly. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

I love this series by different authors. This book is a great addition to the Filthy Dirty Christmas series. Being new to neighborhood, Avery just wants to spread some Christmas cheer. She helps the elderly neighbors hang up decorations but there’s this one house that she is determined to spread the holiday festivities to. She climbs up onto Pax’s roof to hang some lights after no answer at the door, and she slips and falls down the chimney crashing right into Pax’s life. He is instantly taken with the holiday angel and they begin a whirlwind romance. Avery is just the breath of fresh air Pax has been needing.

Pax and Avery are so stinking cute! He’s her giant, grumpy teddy bear and she’s his sassy, Christmas angel - Talk about adorable! Coming Down Her Chimney is an InstaLove, holiday romance that will leave you with a smile on your face and craving hot chocolate. I started and finished it in less than an hour and was left feeling very festive! I’m giving it the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

Grumpy next door neighbor romance? YES PLEASE!!! I absolutely loved this story so much. The dirty talk was a little over the top for my liking but considering they didn’t even do anything until 50% in I would say it was still a fantastic read. I loved these characters so much and the storyline just made me melt. Pax is a 6 ft 5 man and he fell so hard for her and she had him wrapped around her little finger. Loved this one so much!

This was fun. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Paxton wasn't a grumpy recluse but just needed someone to keep him company. Loved how he just meets Avery and never lets her get back home. It's possessive, alpha caveman but worked for them. Perfect holiday romance and now I am intrigued by Avery's sister.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Pax doesn’t get Santa coming down his chimney he gets Avery, a curvy red headed angel who just wanted to spread Christmas cheer and decorate the outside of his house. It’s instalove for these two. Lots of sweet kisses, hot chocolate, and sexy times. Pax is a young multimillionaire who made his millions in tech, he’s retired and a bit of a scrooge. Avery is a former foster kid who loves spreading Christmas joy as an adult. Their time together is sweet, he follows her around like a puppy doing all the things she loves. After a week together he knows he can’t live without her and proposes and gets her the puppy she has been wanting to get. I love yous and an epilogue a few years later with them having a son.

Over The Top Sweet

Till it wasn't. Short novela, insta love, with no cheating or cliffhanger. Pax is a recluse and don't really know why, other than he feels he doesn't fit in. Avery wants what she never had growing up. A family. She has a Foster sister, Gwen, and although she pops in for Christmas, there's little dialogue and her character could use more defining. Pax is a gruff teddy bear according to Avery, and they're budding relationship is almost sickening sweet till it isn't when the steamy intimacy happens. It wasn't so awful to get only one star, it just didn't come across as believable. 🧐

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read.

Avery meets Paxton when she falls down his chimney decorating his house. She goes to the door but he doesn’t answer, so she decides to climb on his roof and put lights up. She’s done it for all the other neighbors. Paxton can’t understand why she is on his roof and when she tells him, he can’t take his eyes off her even though she is covered in soot. She goes back out and climbs up the latter again, she only has a few more house of light left. He follows her and tells her he should be going up there, but she tells him she’ll be fine. She asks him how long he’s lived here to get his mind off of her on the roof. They talk about what they do for a living. When a gust of wind knocks her over he tells her that enough decorating for today. She tells him she is okay but he demand her to get down. She asks him if he has any hot chocolate but he doesn’t. Pax takes the ladder and carries it for her, she tells him it was nice meeting him and he tells her the same. He heads to the grocery store the next day to get hot chocolate and several different toppings for it. On his way home he gets a phone call from his brother Reese about coming over for Christmas. He sees Avery outside as he pulls up to his home, she is trying to put the ladder away and he tells her he’ll do it. She follows him to his truck and when he opens it she sees all the Christmas decorations he bought. She helps him carry things into his home and she asks him where he’ll put up his tree. He’s not sure so he asks her and she tells him over by the window, he then asks her if she wants to help him. He pulls out the hot chocolate and tells her he got something for her, then asks her if she wants some. Paxton didn’t get any ornaments they were out so they hang up the lights and garland. She gets up on a chair and hangs up the mistletoe he notices and tell her its a tradition as he grabs her and kisses her. She gets lost in the kiss and forgets she on a chair, steps back off the chair. Paxton stays with her all night in the ER, she tells him he doesn’t have to but he insists. Avery just has a sprained wrist but the doctors told her to rest. She sleeps in his bed all night to tired to go home. He’s making her breakfast when she comes down. He asks her how she is feeling and she tells him alright. When she offers to help him he tells her she doesn’t need to. As he carries her away and puts her on the counter he kisses her. He asks her about her parents, but she’s been an orphan since she was born. She tells him that is how she meet Gwen and they hit it off right away. The next day he asks
Avery what she wants to do, she tells him she needs to look at one neighbors computer and go shopping for herself and another neighbor. He tells her he is going to help her and they go shopping together. When they come back they deliver the groceries than he sets her up in his home with her laptop to do some of her work. He takes off to go to the other neighbors to help him with his laptop. When he gets back he makes her soup and grilled cheese. The next day he takes her to the animal shelter it’s her day to volunteer. Pax doesn’t like her there while she should be home resting. He notices how kind and caring she is for all the animals. She introduces him to Saint the dog she wants to adopt when she gets enough money. They clean the cages and take care of all the dogs before heading back home. He gets her settled on the couch and tell her he needs to run some errands. He heads back to the shelter and starts the paperwork to adopt Saint for her. He comes home to find her cleaning and scolds her. She tells him she needs him all of them. He picks her up and carries her to his room tossing her on the bed. He tells her he wants to claim he, he tell her she is gorgeous and not to hide from him. He spreads her out and dives in lapping her up and devouring her. She reaches down and strokes him position him at her entrance. When he thrust into her he a tear escapes and he tells her he is sorry he didn’t know. She tells him she’s fine and wants him. They lay together trying to catch their breaths. Pax wakes with a smile on his face something he’s hasn’t done in a while. When he hears Avery moan beside him he asks her if she awake. His fingers find her wet heat and he kisses her shoulder, neck and pulse points. He rolls her over, spreads her legs and settles between them. A few hours later they are curled up on the couch they are waiting on Avery sister Gwen to come over. Pax asks her if she would like to stay with him for the holidays. His brother, Reese isn’t coming so Gwen can have the guest room. There’s a knock on the door and Gwen and Avery are hugging talking a mile a minute. Pax lets them catch up he has some errands he needs to do. The next morning she rolls over to find an empty bed, she looks at her phone and he’s already sent a text. When she goes downstairs, Gwen already has the coffee on. The two talk about Pax and how she found her person. When she hears Pax come home she hears banging noises coming from the living room. When she comes around the corner she sees Pax wrestling with Saint and a big red bow. She runs and drops to her knees in front of the dog. She ask him how and he tells her he adopted him for her. She tells him it’s perfect and it means a lot to her to have her whole family here for Christmas. He asks her if he’s family and she tells him of course. He tells her he wants to make it official and goes down on one knee. He tells her he loves her and he’ll keep her safe. Her heart, mind and body all belong to him. He asks her to marry him and she tells him yes. She tells him she loves him too. They continue to unwraps all the Christmas presents. Gwen head back to her home after making plans to meet Avery for coffee. Unable to wait Pax grabs her panites and rip them off her body. He pins her to the wall and tells her to take him like a good girl. He thrust inside of her again and again. Afterwords she slumps against him as he rubs her back and whispers how much he loves her. Three years later they were married shortly after Christmas. They have a two month old son James now. Gwen comes over every few weeks to visit. Reese comes about once a month, he lives farther away. Both were there for the birth and wedding. Avery quit her job after they got married. They both volunteer at the shelter. Pax gives James to Avery so she can feed him. He asks her if she needs anything and she tells him no she’s got everything she’ll ever need, he whispers me too.

I loved this one!

I'm going to try to describe this the best I can, the special thing I found reading this was that about Mix say through I realised I was enjoying this story so much almost certainly because I LOVED each of the lead characters and how they were written
It wasn't that it the story with these 2 mc's wasn't also great, but I simply loved both Pad and Avery, and in a there was a subtle distinction in his they were written that I'll try to convey which is what made them so great in my book; let me say, this genre is one I love and I exaggerate not, read at least 3 books a day from this niche sub genre ( adult romance/ shorter length books).... That said I can serve a a source well versed in these story my love for every trope and different plot devises included ; so here we have the grumpy older rich male trope paired with the younger bubbly virgin female character trope, but here's where the subtle way their characters were different than the usual that she put together it was these characters and the couple they made that drive this story .... He wasn't the typical grump rich guy self isolating due to some bad last experience, he just was and quite " I just never fit in, it's not that I doing like people, I just find it easier when I'm alone " something along those lines and I found that really refreshing for a few reasons The first being, that A VERY REAL type of person that was described, but not one we often read here in these romances because too often with the isolating male grump, their last become a plot device in that what ever it was that happened its through meeting the female love interest that " heals " that and breaks through so to speak ( and there's nothing wrong with that! I love those story line too) but here we have a set where it's just a dude and the vehicle that drives this story doesn't have a obstacle for him or her to break through... And he's she is a bubbly Hong virgin female who may seem " overly nice " to other people looking in and wondering why she's so nice, buutttt no, she's not the typically written sweet and a bit naive girl who hasn't been touched by the bubbly in the world so that where her inner light that makes people happy to be around her is derived from.. She's written with a back story that's awesomely the opposite , I mean that I it's stated in her first chapter that she grew up in the system, group homes and crap Foster care, but she CHOSES to be bubbly and treat people kindly instead of holding on to that bitterness and distrust that would be justly deserved if she did, because and this is loosely quoted in how she puts it " I figured out that holding on to that resentment and judging my life choices based on those experiences was not only exhausting but my life was no way happier for it! " essentially like well it is what it he, and she learned she had the power to chose how she lived and learned letting to and protective happiness and kindness really did lift that misery weight, and her life was better living without the guarded cautions one could Choose to approach every situation with.. And I loved that! Cause her fun and good natured spurred did t come from a place where she was good to ppl chase she didn't know the ugliness life has to offer, oh she knew, and experienced it, but that what made her character great , cause she's just " do her" and when people looked at her action funny and no doubt thought she was too naive too know better otherwise why would she Del so knind, she's just brush that shut off and continue on, because it wasn't about what the thought of her, it was about the results that came from how she was naturally... And when our together these two were so refreshing to read ! Yes he could " save her " cause he had financial means she didnt, but no she didn't need saving ( he even said it in a line some where like, sure I can buy everything she wants, but I realise she doesn't need me to help her, not at all she's been taking care of herself longer that most grown adults I know and is going just fine and still would even without me.... Blah b!ah , I loved that)..
So yea it was just so cool to read these two come together, and how easily they were able to mean their lives because they didnt have a past frame of mind mentality to hold them back, .. Whatever this review is certainly a mishmash of babble to anyone reading but I had to try..
IN SHORT Pad and Avery are the bomb! Click and read this book ten thumbs up!

A Filthy Dirty Christmas Series Review Notes...

Again, I wish Goodreads would provide the ability to post series reviews. Since they do not I am leaving this here: I started reading this series a couple of weeks before Christmas and have been casually winding my way through all twenty-five books. And while I wasn’t blown away by most of the books within, there was enough variety within the series, with each installment containing short, sassy, and enjoyably sexy OM/YM, D/l, stalker, D/s, and other kink filled, taboo-light stories, to keep my attention throughout.

However, while almost all the books within were pleasantly palatable, overall, I found the series as a whole rather uninspired. And while there were several outstanding contributions that truly made this Christmas “Filthy”, such as the absolutely steamy fake relationship, age-gap themed, “VCard for Christmas”, the surprisingly poignant yet panty melting OM/YM/ father’s best friend scorcher, “Santa’s Dirty Secret”, and the sassy, spicy, completely intoxicating daddy/brat infused, “Naughty Little Elf”, the remaining twenty-two were far too bland, were just okay, or bordered on ridiculous (or offensive).

My ratings for each within the “A Filthy Christmas” Series are as follows:

Book 1 - VCard for Christmas, by Hope Ford - 4 Stars,

Book 2 - XL Candy Cane, by Frankie Love - 2 Stars,

Book 3 - Knotty or Nice, by Ines Johnson - 1 Star (honestly, just skip this one),

Book 4 - Stalk and Stuff Her, by Jenna Rose - 3 Stars,

Book 5 - On His Naughty List, by Kat Baxter - 2 Stars,

Book 6 - Unwrapping His Package, by Fiona Davenport - 3 Stars,

Book 7 - Santa's Dirty Secret, by Lana Dash - 4 Stars,

Book 8 - Step-Santa, by Logan Chance - 2 Stars,

Book 9 - We Three Kings: Hark, the herald angels MOAN!, by Alice May Ball - 1 Star (I would honestly give it less if I could, this one is truly horrible and completely ridiculous),

Book 10 - Santa Claus is Coming, by Jane Fox - 2 Stars,

Book 11 - Secret Santa, by Mayra Statham - 3 Stars,

Book 12 - S.I.L.F. Santa I'd Like to F*, by Lana Love - 3 Stars,

Book 13 - Santa's Baby, by Chloe Maine - 3 Stars,

Book 14 - Kiss My Tinsel, by Melissa Schroeder - 3 Stars,

Book 15 - Decking Her Halls, by Elisa Leigh - 3 Stars,

Book 16 - Wanna Scrooge?, by L. Nicole - 3 Stars,

Book 17 - Father Christmas, by Margot Scott - 3 Stars,

Book 18 - The Christmas Virgin, by Tory Baker -3 Stars,

Book 19 - Capturing Christmas, by Jagger Cole - 2 Stars,

Book 20 - Oooo Holy Night, by Dani Wyatt - 3 Stars,

Book 21 - Sleigh My Name, by Tarin Lex - 2 Stars,

Book 22 - Elf-napped, by Abby Knox - 2 Stars,

Book 23 - Naughty Little Elf, by Nichole Rose - 4 Stars,

Book 24 - Ringing His Bells, by Flora Ferrari - 3 Stars,

Book 25 - Coming Down Her Chimney, by Shaw Hart & Cameron Hart - 3 Stars

Series rating overall – 3 Stars

Like I said at the start, this series is an enjoyable way to pass some time, but not in any way close to being the best set of Christmas themed naughty novellas available, nonetheless, there is something for every reader out there to enjoy, and they will definitely make you reach for a cool drink or want a cold shower.

Coming Down Her Chimney, part of A Filthy Dirty Christmas series, was about Avery Sinclair, a work-from-home representative for Oleo, an online company, and Paxton "Pax" Humphrey, a retired Silicon Valley tech.
Pax unusually met Avery...she had climbed onto his roof to put up the lights, slipped on a patch of ice, and somehow managed to fall into the chimney. Thankfully, he hadn't lit a fire. Once he laid eyes on her, he knew he couldn't live without her.
Avery grew up in a group home after having been abandoned as a baby. Although she had been passed over repeatedly by couples wanting to adopt, she somehow managed to keep a bright, cheerful attitude that came out with everyone she met, especially at Christmas time.
This was a short, very sweet Insta love story that had little to no angst, only a touch of drama, and a good deal of spice.
I loved how the two main characters sort of just latched onto each other and never let go. There wasn't any push/pull or any crazy other man/woman drama, and there wasn't any conflict. It was just the two of them working on a relationship. Pax had been hiding from the world, not because he didn't like people. He just withdrew from society when he left Silicone Valley behind. They were both mature adults, although their ages weren't given. Avery seemed to be in her early to mid-20s, while Pax seemed to be in his early to late 30s.
Although there wasn't really that much of a plot for this book, it still was a great story to dive into. I gave it a four-and-a-half-star rating, rounded up to five stars.

This was such a cute story!

Avery grew up in foster care, never getting the family she deserved. She recently moved to Sequoia, and she helps her small street decorate for Christmas. While she’s out she asks about her next door neighbor. Rumor is he’s a recluse, never really leaving his house. Trying to spread Christmas cheer, Avery goes to his house to decorate and ends up falling down his chimney.

Pax is a bit of a loner. Nothing tragic happened, he doesn’t have a sob story, he just has t found a way to fit in. When he’s surprised by Avery falling into his living room, via the chimney, he is automatically fascinated by her. He decides to keep her safe, watch out for her.

Avery and Pax’s relationship goes from acquaintances to lovers pretty quickly, but it’ll make you swoon on the way there. Pax is so attentive of Avery, going above and beyond to make her comfortable, to make sure she’s safe. We all deserve a Pax in our lives and I’m low key jealous of what Avery found!

This was a sweet, feel good story- although the beginning kinda makes you a little sad, Avery life starting without family. But by the end you’ll find yourself in love with these characters and the love they’ve made.

5 Stars!

'Coming Down Her Chimney' by Cameron Hart and Shaw Hart is part of the multi-author A Filthy Dirty Christmas series and tells the story of Avery Sinclair, who loves to spread Christmas cheer and Paxton (Pax) Humphrey, a multi-millionare who wants to be left alone. Avery had been helping some neighbors to put up their Christmas lights and decided to put some up on one more house. She knocked on the door but there was no answer so she went up on the roof to surprise the owners with lights. Unfortunately, she slipped and fell down the chimney. Pax hears a tremendous noise and rushes to his living room. There is a curly red haired, green eyed angel covered in soot lying on his hearth smiling up at him. Avery can't believe that a big gorgeous teddy bear has been living next door to her.

The Ms. Harts have written a dynamic addition to the series. This story may be short but it packs a punch. The book is well written with likable characters and a cnarming plot. I liked how Avery and Pax finally worked through everything to their HEA. I enjoyed the book. Great, quick, steamy, satisfying read.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed this book. The first time the two main characters meet had me slightly wincing and also chuckling at how crazy it was, but it still worked.
I like that we met the heroine first and got to hear her backstory and get to know her, I also liked that she was told about the hero and he seemed to be the complete opposite of her.
Then you had their first unorthodox meeting and then you meet the hero and in that first moment of seeing the heroine 'BOOM' his life changes and he is so different than what she was expecting after what she has heard.
This was a perfect Christmas romance and I loved every interaction between both characters.
I also loved how fast their romance grew and how it lit up the pages.
Even though you expected them to be opposites, they really complimented each other so well.
I really like both of these authors separately but reading a book that they have both written was such a treat that I cannot wait for their next collaboration, or even their own books!

Cute & Spicy!

This is a short novella, 13 chapter, I read in one sitting. MFC was raised in an orphanage, her favorite time of year is Christmas and spending that time with her sister!

Cameron Hart and Shaw Hart join forces in the decadently delicious A Filthy Dirty Christmas series with Coming Down Her Chimney. This is a fabulous age-gap instalove romance with enough heat and over-the-top, swoon-worthiness to melt your Kindle. When Avery Sinclair takes it upon herself to decorate the homes in her new neighbourhood for Christmas, she ends up meeting the reclusive Pax, her next-door-neighbour, after an unfortunate trip down off his roof and down his chimney. From the moment Pax meets the vibrant, red-headed pixie-like angel, he is ready to claim her and protect her for the rest of his days. Grab a delicious holiday beverage, curl up in your favourite chair, and let Pax and Avery help you escape in this filthy-sweet short holiday romance.

This book is a part of the A Filthy Dirty Christmas series and focuses on Pax and Avery. Avery loves the Christmas season because it is a season of togetherness and kindness. She decides to spread some kindness to her neighbors by putting up Christmas lights for them. When she gets to Pax's house, she accidentally falls down his chimney while putting the lights on his house. Pax liked his quiet life but when he met Avery for the first time she knocked him off his feet and he fell hard and fast. He knew pretty quickly that she was the one for him. I loved how protective and caring he was with Avery! They were absolutely perfect together. Great book and great addition to the series!

Avery has just moved into the neighborhood, she decides to help her neighbors decorate for Christmas, it has always been her favorite time of year. There is just one house left, she has never seen him, she goes up on his roof, next you know, she is down the chimney covered in soot.

Paxton cannot believe she was on his roof and came down the chimney. Once she leave he hopes she will come back, he is used to being alone and looks like this cutie is going to change his life.

I loved this story, Paxton was so happy to be by himself, until the young lady dropped into his life, he did not know he was missing anything.
