Wolverson's Queen

Rate this book
A story of two cities, united by an arranged marriage, or will they?

Emmi Solace - Daughter of Candice and sister of Jamie. Emmi has spent the first twenty-three years of her life feeling like she was in prison within her city. With guards at her back, she visits only a few places which she is allowed to. With the strict rules comes knowing eyes. Everyone in the places she visits knows precisely who the princess is. With the watchful eyes of others, Emmi finds no escape, as every moment is reported back.
Every person she tries to connect with pushes her away. Her family saw her as a weakness and always had. When their city began to fall, they agreed with the Wolverson's they would give up their daughter to marry one of their sons, seeing it as a way to free them of the burden of having a girl.
Emmi, strong-willed and unafraid to fight for her freedom, steps into the Wolverson's city and quickly realises just how different it is from her city.

Dante Wolverson - Seen as the one in charge, broken from the past and what he witnessed. He tries running his city the way his father did and is happy to achieve results, even if it is through bloodshed. He protests having Emmi within their city and their home, but the alternative is far worse. Will his thoughts on the princess change once he realises she isn't as weak as their sister once was?

Zane Wolverson - Sweetheart and loving. Zane is the one who calls Emmi by her name, no pet names, and he doesn't like calling her Princess like so many would to belittle her. Yet Zane's past has left scars that Emmi one day sees herself. With the feeling of not deserving love, he walks a fine line between reality and disaster. He is known as the angel of death, as while he is the calm one when he loses control, he sees nothing. Hears nothing and stops for nothing. He spends his time fighting in an underground fight club to release the hate that he holds inside himself. Which side will Emmi receive? The sweet loving Zane, or the beast?

Bear Wolverson - Biker and fighter. Bear is known for taking no nonsense just as Emmi finds out the first night she sneaks into their city to try have some fun. Bear's only real fear is that Emmi will be their downfall, after the brothers nearly lost everything over the recent years of disaster. Yet, Emmi seems to warm him, and make him want to spend time with her.

Gunner Wolverson - Crazy he may be, and he may love the world of torture but for Emmi? There is a side of him that she sees. Gunner is known as the person who will slowly kill a man for information. Pain is his pleasure, and how will Emmi cope with him? Emmi sees Gunner as her 'Big Psychotic Bastard' crazed and ready for bloodshed, he welcomes it.

So, which of the brothers will Emmi find herself marrying? Will she choose, and just how many secrets are her family hiding from her? Just how far will her family go to take down the Wolverson's, even if it means their own daughter is destroyed and killed in the process?

The Wolverson's have lost too much already, so once Emmi has their hearts, they fight to save her more than they have ever fought to save themselves.

Indie author of Hot Fiction. Billiejo Priestley was born in 1987 in Leeds, she currently still lives in Leeds, UK and is a mum.

She focuses primarily on writing and publishing work than other career aspects. Billiejo writes books that are often taboo, dark and forbidden romance varieties.

Subjects that many steer away from through fear of others views. Her books are not for the faint of heart. Most feature aspects of BDSM, Polyamory, and often life issues, including mental health, addiction and abuse.

She writes things that can be seen as triggers, but her books also give lessons, teach people the signs of bad relationships. Reading is something that should broaden our horizons and open our minds.

Reading was never intended to easy, straightforward and reflect our own lives. Reading was intended to teach us things. Show us an insight into others lives, even if fictional, so when the day comes, we meet someone like the characters, we can relate. This is why many of Billiejo’s book features taboo subjects.

Emmi had lived her life under surveillance, always followed always watched, her family see a girl as a weakness and when trouble comes to her City her family agree to a marriage with one of the Wolversons sons. But is all as it seems?
Dante isn't happy with having Emmi around, he runs the city and keeps the past at bay, never wishing to see it repeated.
Zane, has two sides like Jekyll and Hyde he can change at any moment, blinded by his rage, fighting is his game but who is he when it comes to Emmi?
Bear, lives on the wild side, he takes no nonsense and Emmi will have to deal with the consequences sooner rather than later if she gets on his wrong side. But she stirs something within him.
Gunner lives in a world of pain, but feels the most deeply, especially when it comes down to Emmi.
But who will Emmi choose? Each have their demons but is there something bigger at play? Will the Wolverson brothers be there to protect Emmi, when secrets come to light and danger draw near?
This is a darkly twisting read, the story line keeps you engaged through out, the characters draw you in and take you on a sensual and depraved ride! filled with everything imaginable, RH, discussion of abuse, BDSM, torture, violence, disturbing content, desires, action, suspense, and more!

I started this book a little while ago but put it aside for a while because I just couldn't get into it. That changed when I picked it up again. Reverse Harem books have become a part of the norm now so almost every permeation of the genre has come been done and to be honest this is no different except for the underlying assassination plot line. While good there where quite a few aspects of the books that could have been improved upon. First there should have been a trigger warning for rape. Second some of the sexual aspects could have been a little more developed story wise. As it is those aspects of the story mostly have to do with anger and while that can be attractive to some it would be good to temper it with more "consensual" moments. BSMD can enhance a story but if used in the wrong manor it will ruin it. Third the way the FMC is portrayed throughout the book got very confusing. She was strong, she was weak, she allowed herself to be used only to then have to fight for all she needed. Very Confusing.

Even though I did find there were problems with the book I did find it enjoyable, hence the 4 star rating. The overall storyline was fresh, giving an interesting twist to the usual RH plots. A Recommend to all.

I did enjoy the premise of the RH and the introduction of the FL - however I felt the FL needed a lot more honing in. It was hard to tell if she was weak, or strong, or just confused. The men in the book are indeed alpha...but I do think there should have been a warning for noncon. Overall I do think it was a good start, and that the scenes had their moments indeed - but it felt like it was flipping back and forth quite a bit. I'm still curious though to read what is next.

I am new to this author. The book was a good read about Emmi, her life is like all eyes on me, never out of sight. An arranged marriage for her safety ends up but it is more of a RH, it was an unexpected twist and there are many things going on in this book but it was a good read.

I loved it! The story has a bit of everything in it and emmi's mom make Cinderella step mom look like a great mom. My only complaint is that the writing style felt weird to me but that could just be me.
