“Unicorns are so last year. They only come in one color, they shed a lot, and have sharp, pointy horns (which are dangerous!). Plus, they’re really hard to find. Llamas are always there when you need them…There are so many reasons why nobody likes unicorns. Don’t believe me? Read this book and find out!” - Llama
Nobody Likes Unicorns is an instructive and imaginative read-aloud picture book perfect
The story starts with a Llama trying to convince children because they shouldn’t like unicorns and should instead pay more attention to Llamas. This would be a great book for children as in the story the kids instead of simply listening to what the Llama is telling them they speak their minds and tell the Llama that what they believe is incorrect and by the end the Llama sees Unicorns the same way the kids do. This way children learn to speak their minds instead of just listening to whatever they hear and to also hear out what others have to say about things before concluding their own opinion. Teachers can teach students not to believe everything they hear, speak their minds, and form their own opinions. Germám’s illustrations and comedy also add to the story by making it enjoyable and easy to follow.
Can’t we love both? Does nobody like unicorns? This books is so cute. We absolutely loved the graphics my son absolutely loves llamas and my daughter loves unicorns so this was a great book for both of them. I’ve had to read it so many times in a row and never gets boring! And the llama facts at the end were great
I don’t remember when I read this, but I read it with my 8 year old “sisters” ! :D it was honestly a really cute book tbh and quite funny. I read it to them and we laughed and I honestly enjoyed it! Sometimes a Child’s book can brighten your day ❤️
