Great children’s book about the life of the Great Emancipator. Does not go in great depth about mental health of him and his family and seems to somewhat sugarcoat some of the harsh realities he faced. Suppose it makes sense for the boomer child reader to keep it at kids temp. This book had a discarded stamp on it. The kids from the 50s would die if they read a Dav Pilkey book. Still a decent read. Fourscore!

A book written for upper elementary and middle school ages. It's an interesting overview of Lincoln's life that made me want to read more. I've heard great things about the Signature biographies series, but this wasn't quite as wonderful as I had hoped for.
