That’s gonna leave a mark…

Cain is a force of nature, admittedly a psychotic, irreverent and often a very funny one, but still a force of nature.

He continues his quest to “bring the suck” to those that stand against him and his “family”.

If you followed the original series then these are must reads - if you didn’t, then start at the beginning. It’s worth it.

The search for Elise and other things

Cain's home-base is being infiltrated, but are they the enemy or someone else?
After leaving home, Cain continues his search for Elise, meets up with an old friend, gets cybernetic enhancements (perhaps more than expected), visits new friends, battles Obsidian and Oroth soldiers, hears more about the darkness and does some more fighting! All in a days work for the last reaper!
Action, intrigue, double crosses, clones and propaganda all make for an exciting tale in the continuation of the last repear saga. If you like the previous novels, then this is more of the same with similar degree of story arc advancement.

HC in the thick of it

Another great book in the series. Cain is up to his armpits in the suck. The banter with X-37 and his allies is on point and the vastness of the universe and the plot just keeps getting bigger. This is a great series and I look forward to the next chapter. Five Stars

Getting better 3.5*

If you are considering this book then I'm guessing you have read the previous 11, so no real need to describe characters or the primary story.
I felt a few previous books lost their way, but thankfully books 10 & 11 started to improve and this one continued that theme.

Blood of the Reaper J.N. Chaney. Scott Moon

Halal Cain, the last Reaper has suffered incredible injuries and must undergo extensive cybernetic surgeries. He has reunited with his old and dearest friends and they will now face the greatest battles of their life. They will either succeed or die. Another excellent read in this series!!!

Cain continues to search for Elise

Halek Cain develops some new friends as he works towards finding Elise to support her & her fleet despite news stories about the destruction of the entire fleet. He is also faced with more HC clones than he expected, especially with one in particular that is both deadly & batcrap crazy.

Good read.

This book was excellent and now we have reaper Cain back and then some. There was plenty of action in this book with a lot of surprises . I'm not going to get into the details because I don't like to give out spoilers . So far this has been a great series with a good storyline. Give it a chance but start with book one.

Gotta love him!

I continue to enjoy the Reaper series. He is a badass with an attitude that makes me laugh. All of the characters have evolved nicely into people you would like to know. Well, not the evil ones!

Now it's getting good

Ok the books in this new series of him waking up started slow. I was not sure if felted forced. But, it's finally picking up where it was beforehand. Ilike where it's going now and the series. Hope the next book continues this

Expected calibre

While making new friends isn't what he excels at Cain

continues to try. He may look like all the other clones but he does have his own personality. More fun as Cain continues to search for Elise.

Really gets you into the action quickly.

A fine read

Hero gets augmented. Wades through bad guys.. Much action. Good military science fiction. Didn't get. Bogged down in science and technology.

Loved this book from start to finish, the new characters, the new 'upgrades' (which i saw coming a mile away and hoped would eventually come since the 2nd book) everything was done flawlessly..Parts of the book just made me laugh out loud which isnt something that happens often. Cant wait for the next one, cant get enough of Hal and his attitude :D

Ah Reaper Cain. The adventures just never stop. At least we've got the whole arm thing figured out. I do love the side characters - Bug, Tom, and X. I'm looking forward to what comes next.
