Kelly gets a shock when she finds out her husband is divorcing her after ten years, but has left her a beach house and enough money for a year. She has to start over in a new town where she knows nobody. * I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review

This was my first book by Sage Parker. It is the story of Kelly, who was quite the socialite, but suddenly dropped by her husband for another woman. He didn't even have the nerve to tell her but had his lawyer give her the awful news. Now Kelly has to start over and find a job to support herself, which is not easy when you have been supported by your rich husband and not worked in many years. I was really enjoying this book when I got to the last chapter and found out that the story is continued in the next book. I am like others....I do not like cliffhangers! That's just not a good thing to do to readers or a great way to sell your books. I think the book had great potential and had me drawn in until it became a cliffhanger.
A new serial book by Sage Parker is about LA Socialite, Kelly who learns that her husband is divorcing her. Left with nothing but a run down beach house in Cliffside Bay, Kelly needs to find a job. But with no experience the only job she can find is a dishwasher. Then unexpectedly the restaurant closes. Without a job and needing one quickly, Kelly has an idea. But we will have to wait until Book Two to find out just what Kelly has in mind. I received an advanced copy from the author and Booksprout. The comments and review are my own.
This is the first book in the Cliff’s Point Series which features the story of Kelly who is recently divorced by her attorney husband who has cheated on her for the last two years. She is left a poorly maintained seaside house in Cliff’s Point where she is transitioning from a married society wife to a single working in an unfamiliar community. Two new men, Thomas and Jake, come into her new life. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Got scammed again! This book, for which I paid 99 cents, is another rip-off. It's the first chapter in a longer story--in which every few chapters are bundled and sold as a complete book. I thought this was a book I would really enjoy, but just as the set-up for the story finished, so did the book! I turned the page, eager to see what happened next, and got the message I had to buy another book. This is such a scam! I need to figure out how to detect this before I buy a book. So this is my warning for you.
This is another new fun read by Sage Parker and I am already falling in love with all the characters. A new adventure is beginning for Kelly when her she is left by her husband and she moves to Cliffs Point and meets new and wonderful people. I am looking forward to reading more about Kelly and her new friends and see what life has in store for them all.

Worth 5 stars except for the cliffhanger - which was expected. We meet Kelly, beautiful person deserted by her lawyer husband of 10 years and left with a dilapidated beach cottage in a small village and a small allowance - the result of a one sided prenup. Great characters, well written, evocative story. I’m really looking forward to the next instalment. I received this book as an arc and this review is entirely voluntary.
Kelly has to start over after her cheating husband finds a younger (my opinion) woman after Kelly has devoted 15 years to him. And don’t forget the prenup she had signed. So she’s left with a beach house with mold and in need of lots of repairs and some $$ for 1 year only. So with no job experience, she tries to find a job and start over. The story started slow, but it’s getting more interesting.

This series seems to be made up of books that do not stand alone. That isn't something I like very much. The story and characters were good and I did enjoy the book up to the point of being left hanging. I am an ARC reader for this author and hopefully I will get the rest of the series as it is written. It is sweet and clean, which I always appreciate.

Kelly has an appointment with Lou, a lawyer. When she arrived he advised that her husband was filing for divorce and was in Florida with his new companion. Her soon to be x - left it to the lawyer to inform Kelly.
Kelly was left with a beach house and had to move within a couple of weeks, has her x had sold their home.
I am enjoying reading this series especially as it's very warm and steamy in Texas. Also looking forward to milder summers when we move from Texas to Boston. This eighty year old Aussie really appreciates the great welcome from people I have met in Pearland. My new adventure will be living way up north in snow country. I really enjoy books by this author. Thank you Sage.
For the first instalment in the story, this has grabbed my interest. The characters are developing and I have no idea where the story will go next - which means I’m waiting expectantly for the next instalment. Oh…. and so far there seems to be something really off about Jake…

A super start As always with Ms. Parker the story starts out with a real bang when Kelly finds out that her husband is divorcing her for a younger woman. Even worse she has to be out of the house by the end of the week, and all he’s provided her is a year’s allowance and a house on Cliff’s Point. She heads out only to find a moldy mess that she immediately begins to clean up. She has met Emily, Kelly, and Thomas on her trips to town for cleaning supplies and minor repair items, and friendships began. A great read to brighten up your day. However, we have to wait for the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kelly's husband divorced her after many years of marriage leaving her the beach house in Cliffs Point and enough money to live on for a year. That would give her time to find a job. Looking forward to the next book.
Cliffs Point Book 1 From Sage Parker is a well-written book based on Christian Principles. It is a beautiful story with intrusant characters. The book reads pleasant and you actually want to know how it works. I'm curious about the next part.
Do Was enjoying book and then it just stopped and you need to get next book to see what happens next. Do not like that. Would not get the next book because I think the same thing happened in it.
This was a cliff hanger, which I don't like. The story was great and interesting, now I would like to see how it works out. I guess that's how you sell books.
I found it difficult to read. Normally ai’d be done a book this short within a few hours but it seemed to be all over the place. A new man in her life and he gives her an expensive bracelet after just one date?
I thought this was going to be a nice short holiday read but was sorely disappointed to find its a cliff hanger. I really dislike cliffhangers so I doubt I'll ever find out what happened as I will be reluctant to try another book by the Author.
