Awful men
What a collection of stories about awful men! I'm a big fan of reading something fun about an over the top hero crazy about the woman he love, but these guys are just crazy. It's all about them, all the time, and they totally lose any differentiation or personality when they find "their" woman. She has no control, no choices, no autonomy. These books pay lip service to having strong, sassy women, but all it takes is great sex that is often forced on them, to turn them into weak willed robots.. I find it especially hypocritical that one girl has a stalker-ish ex whose only difference with the so-called hero is that the hero knows how to use his equipment, and another girl has a mother who is criticized for doing what all of these girls do, namely give up everything for a man. There is a noticeable age difference in most of the couples, but it becomes a moot point when every main character, older or younger, is immature and irresponsible.

Overall this first three books of this series was hot!! Who doesn’t love possessive alpha-hole take control of their women in bed and outside of it (to a certain extent).
I love this trope in fiction. I don’t think anything is wrong with us liking it. I am not sure if I like these types of tropes because my husband is not at all like the men in these books. I think I read these domineering males to escape my vanilla world for a few hours a day. I am so happy for different groups out there that allow us to be honest and be afraid of being criticized by others!

LOVE THESE MOUNTAIN MEN
Honest to goodness I was gutted to not be reading about beau and bonnie after the first book. I just loved them, they remind me of my own husband and myself, he’s a mountain man! Lol! And I didn’t know how’d I read about the next couple but I loved huck and Cora! And I couldn’t get enough of Alice and granger! And I love how you keep up to date with the other couples obviously cause the family are so tight! Please please please when you finish catching all the brothers go back and revisit each couple!!!! did I mention I love these books!
