A fated mates, enemies to lovers paranormal romance
Can Lance trust this sexy enemy, or will she betray him?
Senior Lieutenant Commander Lance De Luca strongly suspects the beautiful female he just arrested has been abused. She has the same haunted eyes his sister had before tragically stepping into daylight. Still blaming himself, Lance has a powerful need to protect Sofia, even if she can’t be trusted and his body burns for her.
With vampires going missing, the king instructs Lance to interrogate the prisoner.
The forbidden and powerful desire Sofia shares with Lance becomes impossible to resist. To save her life, and one day be with the male she loves, Sofia has to prove her allegiance to the king, which means returning to the dangerous world her abuser resides in.
Lance fights to protect Sofia as she heads undercover in a dangerous race against time. Will his trust be betrayed, and can Lance accept that this beautiful once-enemy is truly his fated mate?

This is the third installment in this series of the vampire Moretti Blood Brothers. It will not disappoint. This series just keeps getting better in my opinion. Lance and Sofia meet under the worse circumstances. He arrests her. She's a leader in a rebellion to over throw the king, and he's a higher up in the top tier of the king's army. His job is to interrogate her. Without giving too much a way, it's is a long and arduous road to their bonding as mates and finally being together. Sofia had to gain the trust of the King and the royal family. This book ends with more questions and a new character is introduced. However, I am enjoying this series thus far.
Love this series, each book gets better and better!
Love this series and author! After first book I was a little worried about being left wanting more back story of the characters but each new book expands on each character and their relationships while also showcasing a new couple. Each book really gets better and better!
I got about 40% through this book before I had to give up. I really do not like the writing style or ANY of the characters, or the story at all. Genuinely such a waste of time-- and I'm usually able to slog through bad vampire books. Sad! Glad other people seemingly enjoyed it, very much not for me.
Absolutely loved Lance and Sophia’s story! I am so addicted to this serious. Who doesn’t love Vampire warriors? As usual I’m left anxious for the next book, the next story. Thanks Juliette
This story was slightly less erotic than book 2 but only slightly. I really loved the storyline. Lance, one of their top Lieutenant Commanders in the Moretti Castle comes in contact with Sophia, one of the high ranking members of the Rebellion under Russo. After her capture, he realized she was very fearful of all males, like his sweet sister had been after a rape. After much time together she told him. As soon as she did, he made sure she was away from all male prisoners and only certain people even opened the door to her. It became clear to Craig and Brayden even before the eye rings that they were mates. Knowing all this they asked her how she felt about the Rebellion and then asked her to swear allegiance to the King. When Sofia did, I don't think she had a clue that the Moretti's were planning to use her as a spy. She knew that they wanted something for her freedom....Personally this whole situation which I will not continue much more on but the Moretti's using her for her freedom I even have issue with but OK so she was trying hard to please the king and show him she was on his side now. But for them to send her out multiple times to Russo. Ok. So the first time was an accident and the Moretti army lost her but the next time?... And to do that to a.) A mated couple; and more importantly b) Sofia had suffered through a very violent rape by Russo. When he took her again and locked her up behind Tungsten bars, he had every intention of raping her again. I think the Moretti's should have thought long and hard before sending a non military person in to be a spy to a complete psychotic, and sadistic individual. I don't think that they also considered the emotional toll it would take on her and also the emotional impact it was to see her parents and know she was sold. I was horrified for her. The only thing that makes me feel better in all this is that she meets the one man willing to protect her from anything including the Moretti's, Lance. This is a must read. 10/10 It is rare I share so much feeling but this story absolutely pulls it out of you!
First of all: Sophia's story can be triggering. If anyone has a problem with sexual violence, I recommend not reading this book.
The story continues seamlessly from the previous book, but - if you are only interested in the love story - it can also be read as a stand-alone.
Sofia is a member of the rebels and a prisoner in the court of the Vampire King. Lance is one of her prison guards and is increasingly confronted with the problem that he is developing a strong protective instinct for Sophia and also feels physically attracted to her. Juliette N. Banks cleverly plays with Lance and Sophia's emotional world and presents both of them with a major loyalty problem.
I particularly liked how Brianna, Kate and Willow stood up for Sophia. But also Vincent, Brayden, Craig, Kurt & Co. felt more and more like a family as the story progressed. That was nice to read.
This book felt a lot longer than the others, there was so much going on, but in the perfect kind of way. I am left speechless if I’m honest about what Sophia went through, I think as a woman, it’s a subject much harder to read about than if she was beaten constantly. A lot of thought was obviously put into writing these parts, Juliette seems to have a great respect for this character, and how her story was chosen to play out, and the absolute perfect male for her mate. I’m left wondering about Ben……. So far I feel Craig is right not to trust him, his behaviour is kind of fishy. This book was well balanced between the romantic aspects, the action and adding to the overall world that is the Moretti Blood Brothers.
Willow, Kate, and Brianna had a ladies night out when Stefano Russo shows up and threatens to blow them up. Trait , Brayden and Lance save them. Stefano gets away but several of his men are captured along with Sophia. Lance is in charge of Sophia. He is attracted to her and knows something awful has happened to her. Eventually Sophia admits she was raped by Stephano and Lance vows to kill him. Sophia decided to become a spy for the king and Lance discovers she is his mate. Sophia and Lance are accepted as part of the kingdom and they will have their mating ceremony. Now we have a newcomer Ben, Sophia's brother. Where will he fit in all this?
The Vampire Spy: A Fated Mates, Enemy to Lovers Paranormal Romance (Moretti Blood Brothers Romance Book 3)
I really love these books about the big muscle bound vampires that swoop in and save the damsel in distress. This one is a. Really good one that I enjoyed reading so muck. Sophia and Lance have a hard time of it with plenty of action and suspense, enough to keep you turning the pages. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series!
Lance was the soldier in charge of Sofia the spy, who he was keeping a very lose eye on. She was the enemy, or so he thought. He didn't realise she was a double agent, out to get the bad guy, as it goes. Sophia was one gorgeous female, & Lance just couldn't help himself around her. The fact that they both felt the attraction was neither here nor there. I absolutely loved this one.
I love this series and have been looking forward to the hunky Lance but his mate Sophia was a tricky one considering that she was working for the Russos. It was well written especially the parts where Sophia is raped by Russo & then captured by the Morettis. There were some difficult parts as the spying was very challenging for them both. Still enjoying them though & onto the next one
WOW what a book. I started this book and in the first 2 or 3 chapters I was thinking that I didn't know if I wanted to read this or not so giving it a few more chapters and I was finding it extremely hard to put down (a person has to get sleep sometime). Boy am I glad I kept reading. This book is really great read.
Omg, Juliette did it again! With each book I keep thinking to myself "ok, there is no way her next book is going to be as good as the last one". Low and behold she does it every freakin time! This again is definitely a MUST read!
Great book, slot going on,if you are not a fan of violence against women please skip those sections. The story was very tastefully done. The vamps in this story are great.Their wives made them hat way.
I started this book at 6pm and could not put it down. Finished at midnight. OMG, this book is so hot. I love the mystery and intrigue and so many sexy hot vampires.
The book series so far isn’t bad, except for the constant repetition. I don’t need a reminder of every little thing that happens. It drives me crazy, and I really hope the next book is better.
While it is a turbulent time at court, we also read the story of Lance and Sofia. Sofia walks a difficult path. I enjoyed this 3rd book in the series again.
Lance and Sofia have the most complicated and difficult journey to their happily ever after of all the characters in this series so far! Wow. Sofia breaks my heart with the attacks she endures. Lance is truly the most compassionate and loving male imaginable as he tries to protect Sofia all while staying true to his loyalty to the King. This book had me in tears, laughing, and sitting in the edge of that mental seat from start to finish! I was wrung out by the end - in the best possible way! Excellent handling of a difficult subject by Juliette. What an amazing book! Love this series, as it just keeps getting better and better!
The vampire spy is the fourth book in the Moretti blood brothers series and definitely different from the first three. It follows Lance and Sofia, big players on opposite sides as they try to figure out these strong feelings towards each other and how they can be together.
The spice level isn't as high as the first three but it's got some spice, especially between Vincent and Kate.
A twist comes in the form of a mystery vampire (who I hope we see more of) that pops back up in Sofia's life after 70 years. I can't wait to see what's next for the Moretti's.
