Since time immemorial, humans have wondered about the existence of life after death. We all know we are going to die. But what happens after that? The inevitability of death makes us ponder on the uncertainty of the unknown—the afterlife, spirituality, and religion—whether we just fade to dust or if there is an afterlife. And what would happen in this continued existence? Would there be a heaven and hell? Purgatory? Reincarnation? Another realm entirely?
Within this anthology, we have twenty-four diverse stories from authors all written from the perspective of the dead—ghosts, demons, gods, and the Grim Reaper himself—exploring the endless and fascinating possibilities of what we imagine could happen after we die.
We invite you to go Beyond the Grave where you can view the living from the viewpoint of ghosts, experience what it’s like to possess a living person, and interact with worldly matter in an incorporeal form.
*I have a story in this anthology* I obviously didn't read my own so the review is for everyone else. The stories in this book are very varied, and there are lots of them. They are all written extremely well. It's a perfect winter read and extremely spooky too.
Spoiler-free review: An interesting and engaging collection of short stories from a mix of authors. Not every story suited my taste, but that's the great thing about collections like this - you get to sample the works of multiple authors (and maybe find a new favourite).
