A rather interesting account of this religion within Canada, sadly I never did actually finish the book itself as the library only has one copy and the waiting list on it isn't short by any means, so getting through the book as yet hasn't happened, if I can ever get it rented in a digital format well again can't say if I could finish it or not, but I know I'd stand a better chance as it is interesting reading and the flow of the book makes for it is easy to actually read and understand.

This is one of those history style books that I would recommend to any Later-Day Saint in Canada to understand the religion/culture as it is here in Canada. It certainly gives some interesting information that I knew nothing about and those I've talked with within my ward didn't know either - so in that regards it has information within it that has made for interesting conversations among friends.

While I won't buy the book to add to my collection, I certainly would keep it on my e-reader list (if it was possible) as a book to read again or use as reference from time to time.

This is a compilation of articles on the titular topic, and as such it's hit and miss, but the hits are good. I enjoyed the articles discussing the history of the Church in Canada, context of the southern Alberta settlements, and so forth and would recommend them.

There are also a couple articles on Mormons as "ethnics" (whatever that means), one that goes on about how the church doesn't pay enough attention to Quebec, etc. Some of those only got a quick skim.

It was a very interesting read. Of course I read on a wide variety of topics anyway. I probably would read it again down the road however.
