Major points for this being very inclusive, including the narrators. It also is very clear that consent, communication and feeling safe are the cornerstones in the Big "O". Easier said than done to talk about topics such as this sometimes, but it's important for a healthy relationship for those involved.
I really like how the audio book had different narration voices when the book was quoting from different anonymous contributors. It was much more engaging and interesting, like it was a conversation rather than being lectured.
I suffer from migraines and the one anonymous person who discussed how the topic of this book helped with her migraines made me consider a new possible method of treatment. (!)
Other than what I mentioned above, I don't recall a lot of specifics from this book a little under a month after I listened to it, but I have an overall favorable impression of it. I think this might be a re-listen in the future for me. Not because I want more of the topic of this book, I'm happy and content with that portion of my life, but because it never hurts to "check in" as it were with all aspects of life, to stay in a healthy equilibrium.
I think this would be a good reference book for those interested in the topic and a starter book for those with differing from the majority lifestyles. I say starter because it does skew more biological, but the authors try VERY hard to be respectful of all walks and modes of life.
I think the authors take a somewhat titillating and embarrassing subject and deliver the information in a serious, but fun way. I'm not against self help books, they can be helpful as long as the reader is in the right headspace and getting professional help as needed, but I've never really been into sex self help books. I never felt the need for them, but I like to learn new things and to go outside of my wheelhouse every now and then so I don't stay stagnant. I was able to take from this book what I needed/could use and I think others will be able to as well.
4, this book was interesting and informative and while NSFW listening worth the listen outside of work, stars.
My thanks to libro.fm and Hachette Audio for an ALC of this book to listen to and review.

This was worth the read. Its quite inclusive and easy to skip past parts that aren't applicable or of I interest. I definitely learned some new things that everyone should know about bodies. Well done.
i picked up this book with the intention of getting some guidance on partnered activities, but it covers so many more topics than that. it discusses anatomy, shame, and stigma while offering some practical advice on how to achieve the elusive orgasm. a nice touch is that they included a lot of stories from survey respondents to show a wide range of opinions. and, as this is an updated version of the older book that focused on women only, it includes a lot of information for non-binary and trans people.
that being said, if you're even somewhat familiar with bringing yourself to orgasm, it may not be super helpful. all the new information you discover could cover just a few pages. but if you maybe have some unresolved guilt, little experience with pleasuring yourself/others, or want to know a bit more about the science, this might be a good read.
,, jeśli twój/a partner_” no i to sprawiło że no miło to się czytało.
Well researched and well written! Even as a gay man, I found myself fascinated and picked up a couple tips for myself. I do wish that some of the tips in the last chapter, pages 337-338, were more detailed/gave more in-depth information.
