I devoured this book! Couldn't put it down. I was captivated from the start by both the characters and the storyline. It was mysterious and so freaking HOT! This book helped get me outta my slump. RH at it's finest!!
Judah Venier rules Black Hollow along with his friends, Valen and Malachi. The university teaches special skills one would need in the mafia world. These 3 allow no disrespect to them, to the family or to the school. If you do ... you'd better like pain cause they won't take it easy on you.
Brielle (love the name, btw!) is thrown into this world after living away from it for so long. Not totally naive of the doings, but shielded away... until her father throws her to 3 lions who want nothing more to devour her. She's no damsel in distress though and holds her own against these three. Her sparring with Judah was my favorite! Such chemistry!
Things are not always what they seem. Secrets and half truths flow throughout the book. I was down for every single moment of it all! Can't wait to see how this will all play out.
Seriously, one of the best RH books I've read in a long while!

Brielle Saviatti's father is a traitor to the mafia and he had a contract with Judah's father years ago..that makes her a payment when time comes. She has to marry Judah now who is not happy with the idea either. The men are a tight group sharing more than friendship. Will she fit in there? She is Emilio's half sister and the men think she cannot be trusted no matter how innocent she is.
The is a RH with swords crossing action and I find that makes the whole dynamics even hotter! Judah is the leader of the group and he carries a lot of responsibilities after his father’s death. He is the most ruthless and brooding and his wall is the hardest to crack for Brielle. Val and Kai are two other players here. Val has a broken past but he is the lightest in the group of the dark men. He and Brielle formed an instant bond and she trusted him easily because he wasn't trying to hurt her or intimidate her in every step like Judah. Kai holds a lot of darkness too but he is falling of Brielle's sweetness and softness. Brielle has been sent to the lion's den without any weapon but she is not backing down. She is curious about the dynamics of the men..and turned on too. She has her own scars and demons. She is no spoilt gullible princess. She has secrets too and they can be damaging. She has to earn their trust but she has their attention. The twists and turns in this story were amazing. It was fast paced and action packed. The chemistry was hotter than hell and make sure you have some alone time while reading..because Judah, Kai and Val together with Brielle was scorching hot! I cannot wait to see what happens next in this rollercoaster!

It was difficult to put this story down. I decided to read a few pages and before I knew it, I had already finished several chapters. Early on, I had a favourite male protagonist. But all of them were intriguing - the three of them were alpha males but their personalities were quite different. Judah with his cold and mostly calculating ways. Val with his kind warm nature and Kai with his strong silent persona. Of course all three of them were deadly men in well cut suits. Dani Rene did a great job creating these men and creating a equally strong female protagonist. While Brielle seemed like an innocent, fragile princess, she proved that she could hold her own. It was great to see her go toe-to-toe with the men especially Judah. The three men had a secret that could ruin their chances at being rulers of their families. But as it turned out, another person had a secret too. One that is hinted out but not fully explored. So be warned, you won't get all the answers here but I look forward to seeing what happens to the Princes and Brielle in the next book.

What a fantastic start to the Black Hallows. The characters were so interesting and so different from one another but with a connection like no other. This book was filled with an intensity and passion I have not read in awhile. I felt like this book laid the perfect groundwork where I am still unsure who I can trust but still fully committed to the story and cannot wait to see where this is going to take me.

Most intriguing and mesmerizing plot ever! I am hooked on these princes and need my fix soon. The cliffhanger was brutal but it makes this a whole lot more fun! Please please add a bit more smexy scenes in the next book.

Black Hollow Isle, home of Judah, Valen and Malachi (Kai). Known as the Lawless Princes, the trio are set to become Kings. I love the mystery that brings Brielle into their lives. Brielle may be destined to become their queen in this why-choose story but everyone has secrets. The characters circle each other, lust and attraction, mistrust and tension swirling between them. Add in Emilio and Jordan and parts of the horrific puzzle are revealed. Terrific read, which got more engrossing as the pages turned. The next part can’t come soon enough!

Lawless Princes by Dani René is the First book in the Black Hollow Isle Series. This starts the story of Brielle Saviatti. Brielle has been informed that she has to marry Judah Venier which of course she isn't happy about. Judah learns that he has to marry Brielle when he reaches 25 to become the head of the Venier organization and get his inheritance. Judah along with his friends Val and Malachi 'Kai' form the Lawless Princes group and run Black Hollow but they share more than that organization. I can't wait for the next installment in this series.

Another absolutely fantastic read.
Brielle is thrown into a life that she didn't want. Her world is completely turned upside down when she meets Judah, kai, and valen.
Lawless prince is deliciously dark, sexy, full of danger, and deceit that will rock you to your core.
It held my attention, from cover to cover I could not put it down.
I love this authors ability to fully submerge me so deep into the bare bones of the story that my soul aches.

This world is dark and mysterious. It’s layered and well built. Family and loyalty and betrayal. The four main characters have a chemistry that heats up the page. Their angst and struggle is real. A quick read.

Talk about explosive. The chemistry between all the characters heated up my ereader. Judah, Val, Malachai and Brielle took me on a wild ride. This story is full of spice and tantalizing twists. It was an unputdownable story that I recommend.

From start to cliffhanger finish, I was utterly addicted to this plot and had to fight putting it down for even a minute. The plot and characters were intriguing and especially entertaining. The secrets, possible betrayals, and unique plot points kept me constantly guessing. Great chemistry and passion. If you love dark mafia romance like me, then I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

If you are looking for a story that will keep you entranced from beginning to end, this is it! It’s not just a story about the Mafia, it’s actually a bit different and I loved it. Brielle is a young woman thrust into a life she doesn’t want. But when she meets Judah, Kai and Valen, her world is thrown off it’s axis. The dynamics between the four of them is intriguing and definitely sexy! Judah, Kai and Valen are all friends in more ways than one and loyally to each other. So when Brielle comes into their lives, is she who she says she is? Does she have secrets she is hiding from them? All I can say is prepare yourself for a wild, sexy, lust full ride of which you never want to end. This does end on a cliffhanger and now I’m dying for the next book to find out what happens! A brilliant read!

Have you ever been in the predicament where you’re told there’s a cliffhanger, you know it’s coming soon and yet when you reach it you end up yelling NOOO once you’re over?. Welp, I’ve reached that point and I am so excited to see what the future holds for this town and Princes along with their Princess. This story starts off with a dark underlining mystery as we arrive in Black Hollow with Brielle. We’re quickly taken aboard a ride filled with twists, turns and off the charts steam that will have you holding your breath for more then one reason. Each one of these men have their own very distinct characteristics and I cannot decide whom I enjoyed more. A page turning edge of your seat from beginning until the last words are read adventure that I highly suggest you pick up and read now.

Review for the duet
While I liked the premise, I'm sorry to say I was disappointed. I found the pacing off. The characters' growth, as individuals and in their relationship just didn't flow naturally but more like it jerked forward. I was also annoyed at the continuation errors. The reader is told something and then further down the line that something never happened. I hate things like that because it takes me out of the story. As for the characters themselves, I couldn't really connect with them.

**Lawless Princes ARC Review**
Good story and drama. I liked the background build up, it set the stage for a tense, high-stakes story. I am interested to see how the story unfolds, it grabbed my attention enough to continue.
There were a lot of occasions where the author described the characters’ appearances, but it was very repetitive and a little bland. “He's beautiful and broad shouldered”, “beautiful and lean”, “he works out and he’s beautiful “, mostly the guys are beautiful. I felt very little described them as these tough, up-and-coming mafia bosses; there was no ruggedness, only one or two scars mentioned from all the fighting they’ve apparently done. They’re just beautiful.
I wasn’t thrilled about they’re relationship developments, it felt rushed. Val being a laidback playboy means Brielle would obviously gravitate towards him first. But with Kai and, especially, Judah starting off so closed off to her, their relationships just kind of jumped right in to mushy obsession. I think there could have been a more progressive development shown, more flirting/playing from Val, more “get to know you” scenes with Kai and Judah. The multiple POVs definitely helped, but there still could have been more.
I was particularly excited about the group scenes. The spice was good, but the dynamics were a little confusing. I’m not sure if the individual characters got mixed up (ie: switching names mid-scene) or if I misunderstood, but it seemed like pieces were missing/forgotten. (where exactly did everyone’s clothes go? Who did what where?) The heat and tension was there, but I think it needed more polishing.
I love plot twists and cliffhangers. This book had a few twists that are important to the story and connect the off-page characters, but that cliffhanger was a doozy!
Overall I liked this book & story, however I do feel it lacked some oomph from these ‘mafia princes'. The bones are there, just needed a little more filler, more polishing. I will continue with the series in hope that things are fleshed out a bit more. I’ll be honest, that cliffhanger is a big reason I want to read the next book.

Judah, Valen and Malachi are three merciless next-to-be bosses of the three respectful mafia families and they’re the rulers of the island. The three men are close friends, a family of choice and their shared connection is unique and beyond a simple brotherhood.
A brotherhood that once will be tested by the sudden gift from beyond the grave – a gift from the late Judah’father, his soon-to be wife, Brielle Savatti.
Brielle is a young woman, strong and fierce, who was taken from Italy at a young age and was brought up away from the mafia world, but was taught how to survive in a world governed by men.
This story is not only about the Mafia, it has a complete different approach and I love it. Brielle is thrown into the den of the lions and she needs to find her way to survive, to gain their trust and to woo her way into the Lawless Princes’ hearts. Hence, the story oozes with palpable sexual tension and mutual atraction. The princes are waiting and circling in anticipation to feast on their desires and their prey.
I ate this book up in one sitting, the twist at the end of is something I didn’t see coming and I’m dying for the next book to find out what happens!

Hence, the story oozes with palpable sexual tension and mutual atraction. The princes are waiting and circling in anticipation to feast on their desires and their prey.
I ate this book up in one sitting, the twist at the end of is something I didn’t see coming and I’m dying for the next book to find out what happens!

The story is exciting and action packed. A page turner that had me trying to read as fast as possible to get to the next page to see what was going to happen next and how events would unfold.
The puzzle pieces slowly coming together that will have all hell breaking out.
Betrayal and lies come out full force.
But are the pieces really fitting in correctly? I’m not sure.

Dani Rene started the new series Black Hollow isle with a bang!!
This new mafia world is about Judah, Vale,Kai,,Jordan, and Emilio,the lawless princes, who ruls this dangerous, and filthy world.
Brielle Saviatti's father hase make contract years ago, with Judah father, for theyr arranged marriage.
Now years later is time Brielle to be handled to her future husband,who is absolutely not a fan of this whole fiasco at all.
This is reverse harem, and I can absolutely say that my favorite is Vale Medici.
He is the sweet one ,that took my heart immediately from the start. He befriend Brielle,and was always with her.
Kai Errani the second MMC ,his background is filled with darkness, and violence,which make him the fighter.
He doesn't like weapons,he would much rather use his hands...in many ways!
But the last one is Judah Venier,the leader,and the most dangerous. He is calculated and cold,and doesn't trust anyone, expect the princes.
Now that Brielle get in his life,he is like crazy angry, and most definitely doesn't like her.
This story have swords crossing, and MM scenes, so be warned. The dynamic between the characters is one high level,the sexual tension definitely will make you sweating,but the twist in the end will make you crazy for the sequel, because that how I'm feeling after the cliffhanger Dani left me.

Brielle is one badass heroine and the definition of fighting for the ones she loves. She refuses to back down to the challenges that she is given and she stands up for what is right. Her three guys, Judah, Valen and Kai were these people she needed to find herself👌🏻😩🫦
I loved seeing the growth of the different relationships and how they formed such a connected bond between the four of them 💗

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the first book in the Black Hollow Isle Series. This is a dark reverse harem book. It is also the story of Brielle, Judah, Kai and Val. Together the three men are the Lawless Princess of Black Hollow Isle. And island that is private and the kids of mafia leaders go to learn to take over the family business. Judah is the leader of Black Hollow and runs the school there but also will be taking over his family since his father died. However he has left Judah one more surprise in his will. A wife. Brielle. She is the daughter of a man who betrayed the mafia and now wants back in. He made a deal with Judah's dad however there is something shady about that man and you like me will have to figure it out as you go but so far I'm unsure. The guys are a family of their own making and you never betray them or you have had it and they have people always trying to spy on them. At first they aren't sure about Brielle and you get to experience them getting used to each other and know on another. This is a book you will not put down. It is the first book in a series so you can expect an ending that will leave you breathless. I can't wait to get the next book in my hands.

I'm a huge fan of this dark & twisty author, so I know without a shadow of a doubt that she would come out of the gate swinging, and what a punch that Lawless Princes was. I only have a handful of authors that I read RH stories because I don't like to share my toys no matter how hot it is, but Dani Rene is definitely one of them that I'll never shy away from that's for sure. Judah & his ride-or-die friends/brothers are on Black Hollow Isle learning how to become the ruthless leaders in their mafia families, and they're up for the task that's for sure. Brielle's father did some things that weren't kosher in this mafia world, and while she was kept from a lot of it, now she's thrown to the lion's den of these ruthless Princes to marry Judah. Luckily, she's a strong heroine who can certainly hold her own at the end of the day, so it was tons of fun to watch her go toe to toe with any of them, not to mention how much chaos she brought to the table when it came to this tight knit group. There's so much sizzle in these pages that I had to make sure my hair wasn't singed, but there were all the twists coming in hot that kept me on my toes which all led to a ruthless cliffhanger ending that has me all kinds of crazy so now the wait begins. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had been waiting to get my hands on this book ever since this arthur announced it, and boy was it so worth the wait.
Black Hollow is a private university that only accepts students from families who show loyaly to the Venier family and their allies. It's run by Judah Venier and his 2 best friends Valen and Malachi who are also known as the Lawless Princes. Judah has found out if he's to become the new mafia boss he has to marry, but not only that he has to marry Brielle Saviatti who's father is known as a traitor, and he immediately doesn't trust her, because could she be just like her father a traitor or is she an innocent in all of this. He knows he'll have to watch her, because she could be a spy for her father, and just what secret's is Brielle keeping?
This book literally had me flipping pages to find out what was happening next, because the tension between Judah and Brielle was thick phew me talk about hot af with these 4. It does end on a wtf just happened cliffy, so I'm in need of book 2.

Dani Rene certainly has delivered one hell of a beginning to a new series that totally has me all hot and bothered and now I can't wait for the next book in this series. I need it like ASAP!
This dark beginning of the Princes from Black Hollow have some dark demons that we all need to uncover. They are mysterious, dangerous and are just waiting to rule the underworld.
Brielle has come into their world and neither she nor them are happy about this but it's not up to par. Although neither parties are happy about it, they are all trying to get along.
The ups and downs, ins and outs this book had me was one heck of a roller coaster I did NOT want to get off of. I was high on this story and totally in love with the characters. The chemistry between Brielle and the guys got to the point where it was inevitable and scorchingly HOT!

This book is a hot mess. I read an ARC. So, I won’t comment on editing and such beyond that, even in ARC form, it was perfectly readable. But in just about every other manner, this book was not for me. It’s all overblown (maybe even overwrought) declarative statements, contradictory internal monologues, and dialogue. There’s no world-building, the relationships are not allowed to develop, and the characters are all unlikeable. And not in an anti-hero sort of way; just in a ‘there is nothing likable about this person’ sort of way. (And I normally like a dark, tortured hero.)
You can see which character archetypes the author was going for (and antihero is certainly one of them), but she rushes the book far too much to actually accomplish it. Full honesty: while I like what the author was going for with the men’s relationship, the book failed so spectacularly at it that I would have DNFed it if I hadn’t promised to review it.

This is the first in a new series, and my word, I cannot want to read more. Brielle appears to be innocent and fragile, but she is more than capable of holding her own, and she is destined to be with the leader of the princes. Judah, Valen, and Malachi are the trio who are destined to become kings, and when Brielle meets them, her world is turner upside down. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, intense, and intriguing, which is action-packed, with secrets, family, friendships, tension, mistrust, mystery, danger, suspense, and is an entertaining, unpredictable, and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
