Never before have I struggled so much to give a rating of a book I enjoyed. I went back and forth between 3 stars and 4 stars. I finally rested (as of this moment) on 3 stars but there are many things that could easily tilt it to a greater ranking. While the price tag of this book is $40 the amount of content included in it is worthy of the price tag. Contained in this book is Black Panther #2 (2005), Black Panther #1-6 (2009), Klaws of the Panther # 1-4 (2010); Black Panther #1 (2016), #8-11, and Black Panther: Long Live the King #3-4!!! The content alone is massive and this book is a great one to accompany those with growing interest after the 2 Black Panther Movies (And Captain America: Civil War if you like). The art especially by Ken Lashley is BEAST! The problem is it's a collection and so the art and varies from titles and while none of it is bad, I feel as if this book may have actually benefited from being broken into two volumes at $20 each. The stories are great and some of the topics that are addressed are deep. I think this is an EXCELLENT book for Black Panther fans, but know it wont be for everyone. If you have an interest in Black Panther this is a good one to dive into.
