The Greene Family #4

My Sister's Flirty Friend

Rate this book
I broke the cardinal rule and slept with my sister’s best friend.

Granted, I’d just found out that I was now a single father to a three-year-old little girl and was low on willpower.

It should also be noted that there’s been sexual tension between us for years. There’s no way it would be a surprise if anyone in our small town found out. That is if we were telling people, which we’re not.

We’re in agreement to keep our affair a secret, especially since neither one of us do relationships.

You’ve probably figured it out already, but things didn’t go as planned.

My Sister's Flirty Friend is a fun read. I like it more than I expect. The story is sweet and have a lot of cute banter.

The chemistry is hot. Miss Rayne does not put sex scenes in a lot of abundance. Just here and there to summarize the connection between the characters. I also like the small town vibe surrounding the story.

Overall this is a great read.

I am so glad the audiobook released early, I absolutely loved the narration from Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum, they did a great job with bringing Jed and Molly to life.

Jed and Molly have been flirting with one another for ages, well since we first met them anyway, and it was just a matter of time before they got together and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's grateful that we didn't have to wait any longer for their story. But honestly, I have been dying for Jed's story since we found out that he had a daughter that he knew nothing about, can you imagine finding out that you fathered a child three years ago and didn't know about it...geeze louise that's gotta hurt. And how would Molly play into all of this? Well, thank's to the powers that be...namely the writing duo of Piper and Rayne we are gifted with a story that was so beyond what I had ever imagined it would be.

Jed's father did a real number on him and his siblings when they were younger so they are each dealing with things as they find their HEAs. For Jed he has sworn off marriage and kids, well if that isn't karma throwing a wrench into things for him I don't know what is. But it's a perfect way for him to realize he isn't his father and he can do better, and watching him come to that realization is a wonderful thing. Emilia is the cutest little girl and she will have you wrapped around her finger in no time at all. Molly's backstory is one that I hadn't expected at all and wow did it add a new dimension to the story line.

This story is one that is very easy to recommend to just about everyone. If you enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Small Town Romances, Reformed Playboy Romances, Boss/Employee Romances, Sibling's Best Friend Romances, or Single Dad Romances I would recommend this book to you.

Happy Reading!!!

The Greene Family series just keeps getting better and better- every book more deeply capturing my heart for this lovable, humorous brood and all their lovestruck antics. Piper Rayne so effortlessly marries the sweet and the heat in their love stories, delivering heartwarming, humorous, and addictively consumable romances that inspire all the feel-good butterflies. My Sister's Flirty Friend is yet another charmer - witty, sexy, adorable, and so fun. I loved it from start to finish!

I was so excited for this story- especially Jed, and he did not disappoint. The commitment-averse brewery owner has his life turned upside down we he discovers he’s the new guardian of Emilia, the three year daughter he never knew he had. And that’s some heavy stuff- her mother has died, and he’s angry and frustrated that he never knew he had a daughter- and it’s in this state of emotional chaos that has him turning to Molly Monroe- a no- no since she’s not only an employee at the brewery, but also his sister’s best friend. Their flirtation could be a great outlet from the heaviness of his life- only challenge is that Molly is catching deeper feelings- and there is a little girl to think about.

Jed is just delicious. A bit of a bad boy, charming but frustrating at times. His walls are up high- and I loved how his connection with Molly and his love for his daughter inspire an open heart- we get some much needed vulnerability from him and we move beyond his detached bravado into a swoony, loving man. And, I just adored Molly- and I loved getting to explore a heroine like her- liberated, not demure, in touch with her needs. She’s got a bit of a reputation, and PR gives her a meaningful backstory that explains her need for connection. These two certainly have a hefty amount of baggage, so their coupling is complicated, more angsty in places, but their connection is undeniable, even though their romance is almost destroyed by their fears.

Per usual, we have the well-intentioned but super meddlesome loving family of matriarch geriatrics and loads of siblings who show up for some comedic relief and some well-timed, sage advice and support. I just love this whole big brood- and this one is definitely a favorite in this amazing series!

Slick’s review My Sister’s Flirty Friend by Piper Rayne 4.5 stars

We are back in Sunrise Bay, Alaska with the Greene family in Piper Rayne’s My Sister’s Flirty Friend. This friends to lovers, single dad, and sister’s best friend romance packed a punch on many levels. It was flirty and sexy, but it contained a lot of emotion as well.

Commitment phobic Jed Greene has just found out he’s a father and isn’t handling it well. He leans on his employee and his sister’s best friend Molly Monroe. They’ve fought their mutual attraction for years, but they finally give in and both realize how good they are together. Yet neither one wants marriage or commitment and it worked until it didn't and they agree to be friends again. Both Jed and Molly have baggage stemming from their relationships with a parent growing up. When Molly begins working with Emilia, Jed’s three year old daughter, whose speech is behind for her age as part of Molly’s graduate degree in speech pathology, despite having ended their sexual relationship, their friendship flourishes and they grow closer on a non physical level.

I actually loved Jed and Molly together, they were alike in so many ways yet very different. I appreciated the way they had each other’s backs numerous times throughout this story. It was easy to see the trust and admiration for each other build as Jed learned to open his heart and give his daughter the comfort, love and stability she needed and Molly’s sense of self worth began to build with each passing day. Both characters showed great growth in this story and I loved seeing the changes in them.

While I love the entire Greene family, I have to say I found them to be way overbearing with Jed as he was absorbing the news of being a father and trying to get his bearings. Yes, he was fumbling and yes, he was also acting a bit immature, but their heavy handedness with him caused him to recoil rather than to step up. Thank goodness Molly was around to set him straight point out everything he was doing right and what he needed to do better and help him see he was capable of being the kind of Dad his daughter deserved.

My Sister’s Flirty Friend had it all; it was sweet, swoony, and sexy yet there was self discovery, a whole lot of emotion, and most of all love. It was a simply wonderful story!

My Sister's Flirty Friend by Piper Rayne is the fourth book in The Greene Family Series. This is a sweet, emotional, humorous and steamy read and fans of this series will fall hard for this couple. Jed Greene has just discovered he has a three year old daughter, Emilia he never knew about. Emilia’s mother has passed away and Jed finds himself all of a sudden responsible for a child he never knew he had. Jed co-owns Truth or Dare Brewery with his step-brother, Cade (My Beautiful Neighbor). I will be honest and say I didn't love Jed at first. He was reeling by the news of his daughter and didn't handle it well at first. He was stuck in his own head and I would have liked to have seem him handle things a little bit differently. Having said that Molly is the game changer. With her support, patience and guidance she helps him in a big way and we see a huge transformation in his character, and I ended up adoring him in the end. Molly is Jed's sister Nikki's best friend. They have always had a mutual attraction to one another but left things on a platonic level due to Jed feeling like Molly was off limits, being his sisters best friend. I loved Molly so much. She is confident, sassy and loyal to a fault. She's struggled to connect with her own family and the Greene's have always been there for her and her honory family. The attraction, chemistry and passion between Molly and Jed is explosive! Once they connected it was really difficult to keep away from one another but just as it always does when you try to sneak around it doesn't last forever and things become more complicated then either are ready for. Add in the Greene family as well as Ethel, Dori and Midge and it is endless laughter, swoon and feels! The progression of Jed's relationship with Emilia and Molly seperately was perfectly paced, and I could not help route for all of them to get their HEA! If you love rom-com, small town romance and a sisters best friend trope this is the book to pick up. As usual I am dying for the next Greene's book after the teaser dropped at the end and I cannot wait!

Universal

Jed and Molly have been dancing around their attraction for years. They haven't really acted on it because she's his sister's best friend, and the last thing he wants to do is cause a strain in his sister's friendship. But one night, after Jed experiences the biggest shock of his life, they cross that line. Will they be able to keep it a secret, or will their family and friends sense that something has changed between them?

Molly has been fighting against her mother's (and hers) reputation for most of her life. When she and Jed first cross the line of friendship, she has a hard time keeping her long held unrequited feelings for him at bay. But when she thinks he might be using her, she puts a stop to whatever it is they're doing, because she can't allow her heart to be torn apart because of her reputation, and because Jed's equally commitment phobic heart doesn't do relationships or love.

Ah these Greenes...their father did a number on them, but none more so than on Jed. He didn't think he'd be a good father because his own was so bad. But with his rock, Molly, by his side, he slowly figured it out. By the time this story came to an end, I realized just why Molly loved him so much. Of course they didn't get to their ever after without overcoming obstacles like both their baggage, without some angst, and without doing a fair bit of growth on both their parts. Along with the adorable Emilia, they found happiness and became the cutest little unit. Now I'm all excited for more of the Greenes falling in love.

5 Star Review My Sister's Flirty Friend (The Greene Family #4) by Piper Rayne

I love my visits to the Green family in Sunrise Bay, Alaska. After the ending of the previous book I was anxious to read Jed and Molly’s story. Jed is reeling after discovering that he is a father to Emilia, a daughter he didn’t know existed and although is off limits to Jed (as she is his sister Nikki’s best friend) sometimes things happen that are beyond ones control.

There has been attraction sizzling between them for years and all it takes is one night and all bets are off and they embark on a secret affair. Neither of them are looking for a relationship , however nothing ever goes to plan and complications quickly arise.

I loved how supportive Jed was with Molly, it just made me love him more. Little Emilia really brought out Jed’s love I loved how he was with her. As always the family is all up in one another's business and everyone has an opinion which made for some entertaining moments. Of course it wouldn’t be a Greene Family story without the appearance of Ethel and Dori who always make me laugh with their outrageous behaviour.
My Sister's Flirty Friend My Sister's is a story of love and family and everyone’s willingness to do whatever they can for one another. It was fast paced, witty, entertaining and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

My Sister’s Flirty Friend was the fourth book in the Greene family series by the authors Piper Rayne. Technically they could be read as stand-alones, but they are so much better read in order!

We finally have one of the stories we’ve been waiting on and what a bomb that was dropped in the previous book! A single dad overnight! The authors took us through the discovery as well as all of the Greene lectures! They also took us from friends to lovers. It was everything we’ve come to expect from the authors. It wasn’t as humorous as usual, but it had some heartfelt moments.

All in all, it was enjoyable and entertaining. Fisher is up next in My Unexpected Surprise!

The Greene Family are back, with the latest sibling’s story to finding love. My Sister’s Flirty Friend is Jed Greene’s story, the brooding bar tender who’s maintained he would never settle down, and his younger sister’s best friend Molly.

Jed has his life the way he wants it, his own business, a bachelor lifestyle with no commitment of any kind. He’s been fighting the attraction he has to Moly, a waitress at his brewery and his sister Nikki’s best friend for years, but recently it’s been harder to go against. Until he gets news that he may have a daughter, born from a one-night stand 3 years ago, and his whole world is turned on its head. Thrown into a type of responsibility he never wanted, he’s spiralling, and no one but Molly can help him stay grounded. He lets her in in ways he doesn’t with others, and Molly is all too eager to help, even though she knows it could end with her broken hearted, and on the outs with her best friend. Can they make it work, or is there too much working against them?

Molly and Jed have a history, one that dates back to high school. There’s been this attraction they’ve been dancing around for years but have always found a reason to keep each other at arm’s length, despite the constant flirting. But because there was that barrier between them, in actually meant they could be more frank with one another, more honest and open. Despite the no strings attached start to their relationship, they didn’t hold back on calling the other out, especially if the other was acting badly and needed a pep talk, which in turn made them closer

Molly didn’t believe in monogamy, having never seen a healthy relationship after her mother’s multiple affairs, and it left her with trauma that she needed to face before she could settle into a real relationship, something that Jed supported her with and offered advice for when she needed to have those confrontations. She needed to find her own footing in life, achieve her own goals and heal from her childhood before she was able to let Jed in properly. Having been treated badly by men in the past, and the fear of ruining her close friendship with Nikki, it meant she held back as long as she could from falling for Jed, but the more she was woven into his and his daughter Emilia’s life, the harder that was for her to do.

Jed was quite difficult to warm too initially, he was very selfish at times, and I just wanted to shake him and tell him to pull it together because a little girl was relying on him. He made it all about him, when it should’ve been about Emilia, but after some time, he settled into the role of fatherhood and was very content with his life. He didn’t believe he could be faithful after having his father as a role model as a boy, giving up almost before he even tried, but with Molly he couldn’t do that because she would always be in his life, even if that was just as a friend. He could be honest with Molly in a way he couldn’t be with his own family, and that made them closer, because she began to see the real him, and how scared he was of messing up Emilia’s life, which broke down the walls they had built between them.

This Alaskan small-town romance series keeps getting better. Anything small-town by Piper Rayne is a must read for me, the Bailey’s are going to have to make room for the Greene Family in my heart. The continuation of including Dori and Ethel, the meddling matchmaking Grandma’s makes me feel like I am going home to my own extended family, and I adored how Piper continues to give hints to each of the Greene’s siblings’ personalities. The hints at to what they are like and who they may end up with just keep you guessing but also invested in the whole family. I have even started making predictions about future couples from this series, and after the bombshell in the epilogue, I can’t wait for Fisher’s book next. Such an amazing fourth book in this new series from Piper Rayne, I already know the whole family are going to be another collection of characters I am going to fall in love with.

“You should know that I couldn’t get enough of you. I never would’ve thought that the first time wouldn’t be enough. I craved you when you weren’t in my bed. Late at night, I still think about how soft you felt pressed to me.”
🧸
It felt like I was waiting for Jed Greene’s book since forever, but now it’s here and it was so worth the wait. His life took a 180 over night, one day he was happily living the single life and being the brewery co-owner, next day a layer is knocking his door saying that he has a 4 yo daughter whose mom just passed away.

Even though he had his big family to support and love his baby girl, Amelia, he was so lost and angry. I totally get why it was shock, and he was so afraid that he couldn’t be a great dad, since he didn’t have a great example in his. Trying to find an emotional escape, he propose to Molly a “No strings, no commitment, no relationship” fling.

Molly and Jed had known each other since the moment he set foot in Alaska, during their high school years. During all those years they’ve became boss/employee, now she was Amelia’s speech therapist and finally friends. Together their chemistry surpassed the pages, they were hot and heavy and other times great friends who could understand and support each other.

They were more alike then they thought, since she was also dealing with some parents issues. They were a mess, seriously, at times I wanted to kick them. But once Molly set some boundaries and he became the best dad he could be, I couldn’t stop cheering for them. If there was a perfect in their own way couple, it was them. The end was so swoony and it only made me love them more.

I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook and the voices were just so right to their characters and emotions. I absolutely loved and the whole story became one of my favorite book from these authors.

Ein ganz erfreuliches, angenehmes und kurzweiliges Lesevergnügen.

Oh, how I love the Greene Family! From the first book, I was invested in each character's happily-ever-after. My Sister's Flirty Friend is Jed and Molly's story. To be honest, from the beginning, both these characters were not my favorites. I felt no connection to them. I truly can't put my finger on one reason why since there were a few. Unfortunately, while I enjoyed the book as a whole, it felt rushed and I was disappointed in how Jed and Molly are moving into their future. That said, my disappointment is based on my preferences; what I look for in a perfect read. I don't want to say anything that will spoil this story for you. If you have been Jed's number one fan from the beginning, then I believe you will love this book.

Truthfully, what I loved most about Jed and Molly's book was Emilia. She, along with the rest of the Greene family assured I would enjoy this latest addition to the Greene Family. So, while I had some issues with the book, I did enjoy revisiting with the Greene Family. And of course, Ethel and Dori's matchmaking antics are always fun.

As always, I look forward to the next book in the series. If you haven't read any of this author duo's book, I suggest you give them a try. Their other family series featuring the Baileys is amazing and a great series to binge.

While I received an advanced reading copy of My Sister's Flirty Friend, this is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

A Heartwarming story from this brilliant writing duo….
Jed is the unavailable Greene with a serious aversion to anything resembling commitment or long term.
Molly is Nikki’s best friend and an honorary member of the Greene family. Having been warned not to get involved with Jed she has been fighting her attraction to him for years. Her home life hasn’t been without it’s difficulties and it would appear that both her and Jed have very similar relationship traits…..ie avoid, avoid avoid!!!!!
Then Jed’s lifestyle and philandering ways comes back to haunt him in the shape of an adorable three year old….and his life is suddenly completely out of his control….

As always the Greene family pulls together and basically gives Jed a very hard time and reminds him of all his faults….as family does, and we get some wonderful humour, sibling teasing and insight into these brilliant characters.
Jed very quickly discovers that Molly is the best thing to happen to him with her friendship and support being something he comes to rely on and appreciate more than anything.
An Absolutely adorable story that I read very quickly, I fell head over heels for little Emelia and my heart warmed at the little family that emerged….brilliant stuff!

i was simply waiting for the two main characters to grow some balls and get together. although molly and jed knew each other when they were younger, nothing happened between them except that one time. accepting nikki’s friendship meant that the two of them will not develop into something more than mutuals. i liked jed’s growth in this book. after finding out he has a secret child, jed was at a loss and at the start, he wasn’t too great. while he took responsibility of emilia, they weren’t forming a father-daughter bond because he doesn’t know how and everything was too sudden. in comes molly who’s on her way to becoming a speech therapist for young kids. soon, the three form a bond that starts to feel like family while jed and molly stopped ignoring the attraction.

although this is book four of the series, it’s my last book before the final novella comes out by the end of 2022. i adore the huge greene family and watching them welcome even more people in. it’s pretty fun knowing who will end up with who since i read the other books already.

Having read the Piper Rayne duo's work many times before i always get so happy when i get to pick up a new book of theirs! From the moment i found out about this one i couldn't wait to read it! I picked it up as soon as i could and got back into The Greene Family world. I enjoyed it!!

Jed and Molly's journey pulled me in from the get go! I really liked the heat between these two and getting to see how they'd tackle certain things in their lives. I was glad that i got into their minds and dug deeper. Throughout reading i felt so much with these characters and i enjoyed the way their story brought out all kinds of my emotions.

With My Sister's Flirty Friend, The Piper Rayne duo have created such a good read that'll have you feeling so much! I can't wait for the fifth installment, My Unexpected Surprise!

I enjoyed this but this wouldn't be my most favourite. This one missed the mark a little bit for me.

Jed and Molly have both been attracted to each other for years but they chose to dance around each other. He found out he is a father of a little girl from a one-night stand he doesn't remember. I had a hard time warming up to Jed. He is kind of selfish, immature and has a lot of growing up to do. I didn't like the way he interacts with his daughter or the lack thereof. He has issues with the fact that he never knew about her but he didn't even try to do anything about it. I mean, try to get to know her. Instead, he pawns her off to his family.

Molly is a little careless when it comes to Jed. I didn't like that she gives in to him too easily. I would've loved it if she had just resisted him better and focused on helping Emilia. And Emilia was just so cute. My heart broke for her and what she was going through. But seeing her slowly open up to Jed and the rest of the family just melted my heart. That first time she called him Dada was the best!

Another fantastic book by my favorite writing duo. I was so excited to read Jed and Molly's story. We've seen in the other books in this series that these two have a thing for each other, whether they want to admit it or not. Jed is her boss, and Molly is his sister's best friend. Making anything between them completely off limits. But that does not mean the flirting between them will stop. the chemistry between them is palpable. But the question is how far will the flirting go before they give in to what they both want?

Jed just found out news that will completely change his life. He has a 3 year old fighter the he never knew about and not he is her guardian. He has no idea what to do and the news has certainly shaken him up. Molly happens to be there after he was given the news and she gives him the comfort that he needs, or maybe the distraction. Whatever it is they both agree that this is a no strings agreement that no one is to find out about, especially Nikki.

Jed and Molly have more in common that I think anyone realizes. Jed is still dealing with his feelings towards his father and how much he is truly affected by his father's actions and mistakes. Molly's father left when she was younger, leaving her to basically raise herself because her mother was too busy to take care of her. They both have major commitment issues, and avoid relationships at all costs. Love is the one thing they both know how to avoid, until it's too late and they realize that their feelings for each other are much deeper than they thought, leaving them both afraid to admit how they feel.

I loved these two together. The flirty banter between the two of them was fun. They both had this wall up but seeing how they learned to open up to each other, how they broke those walls down. Jed is hot and sexy and a good guy regardless of his reputation. Molly is this strong and independent woman who was dealt a crap hand when it came to her mother. I loved seeing her stand up for herself. I loved watching these two characters grow and realize that they do deserve love and are both lovable.

While I loved Jed and Molly. there is one person who stile the show for me. And that was Emilia, who is Jed's daughter. She was so cute and my heart broke for her and what she was going through. But seeing her slowly open up to Jed and the rest of the family just melted my heart.

It is always great to se the other members of the Greene family and see how they all rally together. And of course, no book in this series would be complete without the antics of Ethel and Dori!!! Another great one in this series. Looking forward to Fisher's book.

Jed Greene! Not at all what I was expecting. From playboy to father of the year, Jed goes through quite the emotional transformation in this story of becoming a father and falling for his sister’s best friend. Molly is the sexy firecracker, quite the match for ballsy Jed. While they have chemistry to spare, they’ve always tried to resist this burning tension for each other. Molly has some family issues that have caused her pain, similar to Jed, so while th hey would love nothing more than a no-strings fling, emotions spitfire and things get complicated quickly.

Molly and Jed are a great match. Molly slides easily into helping with Jed’s little girl, making them an instant little family. While they stumble and fall, I love seeing them both heal their hearts together and realize how truly special their relationship is. There’s nothing better than being at the mercy of Ethel and Dori’s matchmaking scheme. No one makes it out unmatched, especially the non-believers.

I love reading the Greene family. There’s so much happening in their small Alaskan town, and so much more to come!

I was expecting a fun and flirty book between Jed and Molly. I was expecting banter and sexual chemistry galore. I was prepared for hijinks from Ethel and Dori and the usual Greene family antics. What I wasn't expecting was for how emotional Jed and Molly's story would be. I wasn't expecting all the tears that their story caused me to shed. I never realized how vulnerable and broken Jed really was. I never realized what a front Molly put on. While I loved watching their flirting and banter in the previous books, I never realized how perfect these two were for each other. Jed and Molly were two sides of the same coin and they never even knew it despite knowing each other for years and years. These two broke me and made me whole with their journey. I loved that this story didn't have the traditional format to it. They had a different journey, a journey that I loved every second of, even if I was in tears. I am obsessed with the Greene family and Jed and Molly just might be my top couple.

I have been waiting eagerly for the story of Jed Greene and Piper Rayne delivered a solid hit in My Sister's Flirty Friend. The chemistry was pure fire and sin. And the emotions were deep and heartaching. With the right dose of small town goodness and big family love. Boom..you have the perfect recipe for an amazing romance all the way.

Jed Greene has more emotional baggage that a Boeing. As the co owner of Truth or Dare Brewery and bar, he lives a commitment free reckless life. Till fate drops a three year old girl in his life. He had no idea about Emilia till her mother died and he was mentioned in the will. He is confused. Angry. And he has a scorching hot night with his sister's best friend and his co worker Molly. She becomes a kind of escape but Molly doesn't know if she wants to be "used" like this. She has been all about casual flings but she had a connection with Jed that goes way back. And now Emilia is in the mix..
.
God I love Molly. She has been misunderstood and given a reputation of flirty fatale that she certainly didn't deserve. She was never loved properly by her neglectful mother and whole life she has been trying to prove herself to be something valuable. Among work, late school and her emotionally messy life..Jed is a complication she certainly doesn't need. But they always had this tension..this forbidden attraction..this weird camaraderie. Jed made me so mad some times. He is scarred from his father and his solution is to stay closed off. No emotional connection with anyone outside his family. And he was so scared and lost that he almost made too many mistakes with Emilia and Molly. He is the broken bad boy alpha with dazzling charm and sick dirty ways but wow, when he opens up to be emotionally vulnerable..that's a real beauty. Molly and Jed had a dramatic journey full of passion and some angst. I am so glad that Molly didn't let Jed continue being the coldhearted hero and Jed finally embraced his feels. Thank god for the big teasing loving adorable gang of siblings!
.
Piper Rayne is hands down the best when it comes to small town romance and you cannot miss this story at all!.

I have been WAITING for Jed’s story and this does not disappoint! Instantly fell in love with it.

Jed and Molly work together at Truth or Dare Brewery. Molly is also best friends with Jed’s sister, Nikki. They have known each other since Jed and his siblings moved to Sunrise Bay and there was connection the moment they met, however, it was high school and Jed was kind of a jerk. Years later, Molly still harbors a crush for the man.

I love the chemistry between them. There is plenty of heat that will melt the pages, but I also love that they have a deeper connection. Molly is there for Jed as much as he will let her be there while he his adjusting to a new life. There are so many sweet moments between them, but not everything is smooth sailing. Both Jed and Molly have things in their past that they need to overcome before they can truly move forward.

Like the previous books in this series there is plenty of Greene Family fun and of course, more shenanigans from Ethel. I can’t wait to return to Sunrise Bay for the next book!!

If you’re looking for a friends to lovers, small town, single father, sister’s best friend, work place romance this is one to read!

Once again, Piper Rayne has knocked it out the park! I’m obsessed with the Greene family and Jed and Molly’s book was everything I thought it would be and more. Both of them were the unwilling victims of small town rumors and unwanted reputations. In this book, we get to unravel the layers and really get to know them and I loved it.
These two were like two peas in a pod even if they denied it at every turn. Watching commitment phobes fall in love is one of my favorite things and Piper Rayne seriously delivered with Jed and Molly. I just engulfed their story greedily. Watching Jed embrace fatherhood was so beautiful. Little Emilia was the cutest and sweetest thing. The bonds formed between her, Jed and Molly was so heartwarming. The emotions in this book was an unexpected hit to the feels. There was also the hysterical antics from our favorite grandmas, Ethel and Dori and their friends. A Greene book isn’t a Greene book without visits from some of the siblings and that’s always a treat.
Piper Rayne perfected the artful balance of emotional, sweet, steamy and fun in this unputdownable read. And boy oh boy do they know how to leave you desperate for more because that ending has me counting the days until the next Greene family installment.

Hach, ich liebe so was.
