New York Times bestselling author Corinne Michaels returns to the Willow Creek Valley Series in this stunning small town/fake marriage romance.
My marriage started as a lie.
But some lies are worth telling.
My father’s dying wish was to walk me down the aisle, and I’d do anything for him.
Even marry a man I don’t love.
So when my fiancé jilts me only days before the ceremony, I turn to my college friend, Oliver Parkerson, and convince him to marry me.
My family hasn’t met either man, so I’m confident we can pull this off.
But the feelings, our touches, the way my heart beats for him... none of it feels pretend. The way he holds me at night and carries me through loss tells me he’s not acting either.
I didn't mean to fall for my fake husband, but real love was the one thing I couldn't predict.
Except, nothing built on lies can last—I know that better than anyone.
Corinne Michaels is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of romance novels. Her stories are chock full of emotion, humor, and unrelenting love, and she enjoys putting her characters through intense heartbreak before finding a way to heal them through their struggles.
Corinne is a former Navy wife and happily married to the man of her dreams. She began her writing career after spending months away from her husband while he was deployed—reading and writing were her escapes from the loneliness. Corinne now lives in Virginia with her husband and is the emotional, witty, sarcastic, and fun-loving mom of two beautiful children.
It was great being back in Willow Creek Valley! I couldn’t wait to get to Oliver’s book. Fake dating, marriage of convince, sigh. I love these books!
Maren’s wedding gets called off just days before she’s supposed to wed. It’s so important to her that she gets married… less important is who the groom is. Maren’s father is dying and more than anything, he wants to walk her down the isle. Oliver and Maren have been friends since college so he says yes.
This fake marriage turns into real feelings. That’s the thing I love about these kinds of books. Watching friendship turn into so much more. Oliver and Maren together… I just adored them. This book was so emotional but also had its fun/funny moments. I loved the family dynamic and the small town feel.
This series is truly fantastic. Aside from Stella’s book which was my absolute favorite, I think this was the next best one IMO. You honestly can’t go wrong with any Corinne book though. She writes with so much heart and skill. I give this one 4.5 stars and highly recommend it!
Corinne brings us the final book in the Willow Creek Valley series, and I am so sad that we won’t be visiting with the Parkerson siblings anymore!
Oliver Parkerson was somewhat familiar to me as we first met him in The One for Me, part of the Arrowood Brothers series. He was in love with Devney and planning to marry her before she realized she was really in love with someone else. But Oliver was SO sweet and perfect that my heart broke for him in that book, and I was over the moon knowing he would be getting his own story.
Leave it to Corinne, though, to rake my heart over the coals at every turn! It is never an easy or smooth road for her poor characters on their way to finding the loves of their lives. But the stories would be bland and uninteresting to read then, so I begrudgingly gotta hand it to her, she knows how to take her characters, and the readers, on these emotional rollercoaster rides.
Maren reminded me so much of myself with her overly analytical personality, always making lists for everything, and planning out every scenario ten steps ahead so she’s prepared for all contingencies. She’s excellent at her job working for Cole Security. Sound familiar?? I really loved that we got to see some much-loved older characters pop up in this story. Oh, how I have missed them!
I mentioned an emotional rollercoaster earlier, and this story takes us on a doozy of one! One minute I’m laughing at the antics of the Parkerson siblings, the next I’m in tears over the emotional toll Maren is dealing with. Her father is dying, and she just wants to fulfill his dream of walking her down the aisle before his time runs out. She’s also dealing with an evil Stepmother who made my blood boil way too many times. But Maren was a saint with how she dealt with it all. I really loved Maren and Oliver together. Their chemistry was off the charts, and they really fit together so perfectly. They’ve known each other since college, so her far-fetched cockamamie plan didn’t really seem as ludicrous as it would have been if he was a total stranger to her. And it helped that all of Oliver’s family and Maren’s coworkers went along for the ride to make sure her father got to fulfill that dream of walking his daughter down the aisle and handing her to the man who would take care of her for the rest of her life. What’s a little deception if the end result gives a dying man peace?
It felt like old home week, seeing all the Parkerson siblings and Corinne’s characters from her other series make appearances. AND make sure to download the bonus scene because it is AMAZING!! Loved it!!
5 "You Might Just Be Perfect For Me" stars! (ARC provided by Valentine PR)
Maren McVee will do anything for those she loves, so when her ill father declares his dying wish is to walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day, she moves heaven and earth to make it happen. Then her fiancé backs out days before the ceremony leaving her without a groom. She turns to her college friend, Ollie for help, hoping she can talk him into fake marrying her. She has a plan since her family never saw or met either man. Oliver has always been a good guy. He’s kind, charming, and now her hero. Her very own knight-in-shining-armor coming to her rescue. Boundaries are set, but then everything turns complicated when the lines get blurred. She’s not supposed to fall for her fake husband, but soon nothing feels pretend anymore.
Oliver Parkerson is the funny, easygoing one of five siblings from a small town in North Carolina called Willow Creek Valley. The siblings are preparing to open up a resort in a few weeks called the Firefly. They’ve booked a wedding for his college friend Maren that will be their first official event. He hasn’t seen Maren in about ten years when she blows into town and turns his world upside down with her crazy plans. He’s prepared to help her give this special moment to her father. She needs him, and it will be temporary without his heart getting involved. The only problem is when he looks at her sometimes he forgets they’re acting. As time goes by he finds it a little too easy to pretend to be hers. When she suddenly starts to mean something to him he’s not sure anymore what’s the truth, and what’s the lie.
-When she looks at me with those big doe eyes, I want to fall to my knees in front of her.
-"You make me feel alive. You give me hope that there is more to love than I thought there was."
A Chance For Us (Willow Creek Valley, #4) by Corinne Michaels is the final book in this amazing series about five siblings from a small town. It’s a heartwarming, emotional, fake relationship, friends to lovers romance about family, friendship and unexpected love. We get lies, drama, angst, humor, chemistry, and even a few familiar faces. ;)) I have enjoyed this entire series, and loved all the Parkerson's, but she saved the best for last. I’ve been waiting and wishing for Oliver’s HEA, and it was everything I wanted and more. This man is pure swoon and will melt your heart, and make you feel everything! <333
A Chance for Us is the final book in the Willow Creek Valley series. Corinne Michaels saved the best Parkerson for last, Oliver Parkerson.
Oliver Parkerson uses his funny personality to cover the deep scars he holds but never spoke of to his siblings. When his college friend Maren wants to book her wedding at their new resort he jumps at the chance to help her even though she is best friends with his ex Devney who broke his heart to marry another man, Sean Arrowood.
With complications thrown in, Oliver steps in as the groom to help Maren as her father is dying from Cancer and his wish is to walk his daughter down the aisle. What starts as a lie, starts to turn real to them. Can they work thru their fears and reach for their HEA?
As a usual Corinne Michaels draws you in with the twists and turns of just how great an author she is.
Whenever I read a book by Corinne Michaels, I have my guard up because I know the angst is coming. And I mean that in a good way because she just has the most creative mind and takes great care in creating a plot and storyline where every chapter and every action of her characters have purpose.
A Chance for Us is the final book in the Willow Creek Valley series where we have come to know five siblings who each find love. In the last book, they decided to open up their own resort, The Firefly, after leaving the one their toxic father built many years ago. It was a bold and risky move, but necessary for their emotional health, and their dream comes to fruition as this series ends.
Oliver Parkerson didn’t feel true love was in the cards for him and was content just working hard, spending time with his siblings and their families, and being a life-long bachelor. He is proud of the resort his family built, and it is there that he reconnects with his college friend, Maren, who immediately asks for him to do the unthinkable–marry her.
Maren has her reasons and was so sincere and compassionate, how could he say no? Oliver so selfless and sweet, and felt so drawn to her, but was guarded from past relationships when he was all in, and the woman wasn’t. Oh Oliver, you just hadn’t met the right woman yet, and then she blows into town and turns your whole, neatly ordered world upside down! Oliver and Maren had so much in common and were so naturally at ease with each other that it almost seemed unreal. It couldn’t be this easy, could it?
In addition to their easy flirty banter and talking things through as adults (major points for this), they had smoking hot chemistry! And let me tell you, this is no slow burn! They’re both adults and legally married, so why not enjoy the perks! Full steam ahead for these two and they navigate what is real and what is fake.
Her father has terminal cancer and dreamed of walking his only daughter down the isle, and Maren wants him to pass on in peace knowing she is happy and well cared for. I loved her relationship with her father, but her stepmother, Linda, hit a personal nerve with me as I am in the same exact position (with the stepmother part, not the reconnected with my college friend who became the love of my life part).
My mother died of cancer and for 15 years my dad was single, and then he met his second wife in his late 60’s. She was nice at first, but once married, she exhibited the same controlling and isolating behavior as Linda. She isolates my dad, his home became her home and the locks were changed, and she basically controls his every move and conversation, even reading and responding to his personal emails and texts. My dad has had two heart attacks and a stroke and tries to keep the peace just like Maren’s dad. He feels once married, you’re married for life, and I really became emotional reading the parts where Maren’s stepmother would be manipulative and be so very NEGATIVE. We also call my stepmom “Satan’s sister” because she’s just so cruel to us and it’s draining, and it is so very sad because it doesn’t have to be this way.
In any case, many people reading this story may feel that women like Linda in A Chance for Us do not exist, but trust me, they do. My siblings and I have often talked about hosting a second private memorial for my dad when he passes, because we have a feeling we will not be invited to speak and delegated to the second row just as Maren was. Ugh...family relationships can have all sorts of dynamics and the author threw in a real dozzy when writing Linda’s character. And Maren rose above it, remained classy with poise and grace the entire time for her father’s benefit, and then put it all behind her. I really admired her and could relate to her, because it is not an easy thing to do.
Even though this part was upsetting to read, it made me fall in love with Oliver even more. He naturally wanted to protect Maren and had such deep empathy for her. It was like they were a couple their whole lives–how they reached for each other in need, and lifted each other up. He was there for her every step of the way, and when the author threw in a climatic twist and he needed her (which I knew would be coming, because that’s just how the cookie crumbles with Corinne), she was there for him, too. She was warm and wonderful and let him know in no uncertain terms that he came first. Insert big sigh.
I love how Maren was an independent career woman with smart analytical brain, and how she worked for a security firm ran by a fan favorite from the Salvation series. Her best friend, Devney, who once dated Oliver, is also married to an Arrowwood! Just a couple Easter egg that made me smile. I do love this series and am sad to see it end, and am glad that their brother, Alex Parkerson, a successful architect, also found love while working in Egypt.
My heart truly connected with Oliver and I wanted so much for him to be happy and feel loved for just who he was, and she did. She loved him completely. Oliver was so sweet, sexy, and swoony and I loved how fully committed they were to each other, how they made compromises for their relationship, and how his family fully embraced her from day one. I loved their journey and especially the extended epilogue into the future.
Corinne Michaels is an exceptional writer - hands down.
Oliver and Maren have known each other since college, but what she asks of him when they reunite for her wedding will leave you shaking your head.
They may not start out in a conventional relationship, but I loved when they both started facing their feelings and what was going on between them. Needless to say, they had a plan but sometimes things don’t work out how you plan them to go.
They faced some large hurdles in their relationship, but in the end it only strengthened their trust and love for each other.
As always in Corinne’s books, she will throw something unexpected at you that totally guts you and usually leaves me wanting to throw my kindle, but she always puts your heart back together. A Chance for Us was no different, plus add the fact that this is the last of this series and it will leave you kind of sad. At least with Corinne, chances are very high that we will see them again in future.
”How are you going to come up with the additional funds we owe to get this done on your timeline?” “I’ll sell my body for sex.” “But not for a fake wedding? Idiot.”
The Parkersons!! Holy hell, they have put us readers through hell, so I was anticipating Oliver’s story to completely BREAK me.
But I got a very unusual surprise. This was such a fun and light read. Yeah, I know, hard to believe when it comes to Corinne Michaels, but this was just such a crazy and really fun plot that I breezed through this in no time.
I adored Maren and her situation would make anyone consider agreeing to a fake marriage. But as soon as these two met, there were sparks that they couldn’t ignore, which made this story all too interesting that I couldn’t put it down.
I know everyone will be disappointed that Alex isn’t getting a book right now, but honestly, after the year Corinne has had, I totally get it.
After such a rollercoaster of a series, it’s nice to end with a more lighthearted book.
Corinne Michaels takes us back to Willow Creek, where lies become truths and love becomes everything. Fall in love with Maren and Oliver as they navigate through their fake marriage… but what happens when they are no longer pretending? Pre-order your copy! https://geni.us/ACFU_CM
My random picking of books has to stop. Why do I pick up books just based on titles?
This wasn't a bad book, I just had to pick a book that is supposedly in a series and the last one too.
But it didn't have the pining or the raw emotions I thought it would have. This is a fake marriage trope, as such I thought it would have some hostility or at least some awkwardness but they fell for each other too quickly so the plot fell flat.
But they did learn to be around one another through all the acting to be fake husband and wife so that's the good.
I don't think it can be read as a standalone because the entire family from the previous books appeared so many times throughout the book. And they all had so much of lines and that is on me for being lost.
But I don't think I'll be reading the series anyway because I was more interested in Maren and Oliver's plot and I think it was addressed in this book.
A cute small town romance, nothing intense though.
Insanely Beautiful! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Oliver has not had it easy finding the one. So when his entire world nearly stops upon seeing Maren the first time since college… it’s truly beautiful. He goes along with her request and never expected to fall completely in love, neither did she. Their story is insanely beautiful and I enjoyed seeing them both fall when neither expected to.
In true Corinne style she will make you happy and then bam she will rip that heart out. But don't worry slowly she will piece it back together.
Ollie is finally getting his HEA. This man has had a place in my heart since Devney let him go. The man who will do anything for anyone. But then again he and Maren are so alike as she will do anything to make a dying man so very happy.
This story will pull on the heartstrings at each turn. You will cry. You will sigh. Then cry some more. Then your heart will be happy and full.
Zachary Weber just has this voice the calms you. He gave Ollie the perfect soothing voice with a hint of sexy mixed in. Vanessa Edwin is a new favorite of mine. She just has this voice that I love. And there's just something about her male voices that's amazing. Together Vanessa and Zach made Corinne's words music to my ears.
Corinne weaved this beautiful story filled with love, family and hope. It was sexy and sweet and filled with plenty of emotion. There were loads of tie ins and various special guests. It was amazing to see it all come together.
And that special bonus scene tied this whole series together with a big red bow making everything perfect.
Here's a huge announcement: Oliver is the best hero Corinne has ever written. And that's saying a lot, considering her heroes are incredible.
I feel like I've been waiting forever for Oliver's story, but it was totally worth the wait. A Chance For Us was emotional, sweet, funny, touching and so beautiful. I was entranced by the plot and the whirlwind of emotions surrounding the characters and myself.
Maren is determined to grant her father his wish of walking her down the aisle before it's too late for him. In a crazy stunt, she runs to Oliver to save her and pretend to be her husband so her father can be happy in his final days. It was supposed to be fake, it was supposed to be temporary, Maren wasn't supposed to fall in love with him. But how could one possibly keep themselves from falling in love with Oliver? I know I couldn't, because I most certainly did fall in love with him.
He was incredibly sweet, loving and oh so caring. No matter how hard he tried, there was no guarding his heart. Oliver was a lover and a nurturer at his very core. While his brothers could be moody, Oliver brought lightness and peace with him. He had a calming presence that could unarm any fear and angst around him. Even when he was trying to protect himself, he was giving and selfless.
And I'm so glad that Maren was smart enough to realize all that. Yes, she may have started it all in the wrong way, but her heart was in the right place and she loved just as deeply as Oliver did and deserved.
They earned their happily ever after and they undeniably deserved it.
Bittersweet. The Parkerson's have come to an end and I think it makes us all sad. But what an ending. Oliver and Maren didn't start off as a conventional couple but it was interesting and so good. You felt the pull and the change between them as the story developed. Then Corinne throws an emotional storm inside the story that knocks you on your butt but then she'll put you back together again. The Easter Eggs, we can't forget them. And I need to include Mrs. Villafane and Mrs. Garner, those two were awesome. They had me laughing every time. I hate good-bye's-I do. As we all know Corinne, she'll find a way to sneak them in from time to time.
One of the things I love most about Corinne's books is that they're all so realistic/believable. Sometimes I feel like all the characters in her books are friends of mine, and it's my life. No, I'm not really crazy/delusional, but Corinne's books bring you into the story like no other.
Oliver and Maren were so perfect together! If ever there was a story of fate or true soul mates, this is definitely it! Their chemistry was so palpable, I could practically see the sparks coming off the pages!
This book may very well be my new Corinne favorite, so needless to say, this one is highly recommended with more than five stars!
I read 3 out of the 4 books in the Willow Creek Valley series, and I enjoyed them all. Each of them had some intense moments that kept me at the edge of my seat. This one is no different.
In A Chance For Us it’s Oliver Parkerson’s chance to find love, or is it. I adored Oliver’s sense of humor and quick wit in the previous stories, so I was really looking forward to him finding his happy ending. When he stands in to help a college friend, Maren, at her wedding, what could go wrong? Maren only wants to fulfill her dying father’s wish to be able to walk her down the aisle, and needs Oliver to stand in for her groom who jilted her at the last minute. It’s a fake wedding, right?
There is so much more to the story. I found myself laughing/smiling and yet there were times I found myself close to tears. It’s an emotional story that will hit you right in the feels.
I am sad to say goodbye to the Parkerson family. I was hoping we would get Alex’s story, but unfortunately, this is the end. Ms. Michaels does give us an epilogue looking into the future and what is going on with all Parkerson siblings and their kids. Still, I want more.
With A Chance for Us, the last book in the Willow Creek Valley series, Corinne Michaels has taken the fake marriage idea to the limit and given us a story that has the emotional impact of a two-by-four to the head! On top of that, this story is ACTUALLY a bit of a rom-com (no, REALLY!!!!) The banter and back and forth between Oliver and his siblings truly lightens up some of the heavier emotional moments (and there ARE some of them here, but not as gut-wrenching as is Ms. Michaels' norm!)
So, the story....Maren, who met Oliver when they were in college together, arrives at the Firefly Inn for her "fake" wedding to another man (she wants to fulfill her dying father's dream of walking his daughter down the aisle at her wedding, knowing that she is loved and will be "taken care of" after he is gone *sobs*) The only problem is, she doesn't have a groom anymore! When she asks Oliver if he would do the deed, his immediate response was what ANY man would say...."No, absolutely not!" That is, until his sister kinda guilts him into changing his answer! It doesn't hurt that the chemistry between he and Maren is SMOKIN' HAWT, either! But this isn't real, right? This is a short-lived, totally fake (they're ACTUALLY married, so no harm, no foul, right??!!) WRONG!!!! When things go sideways and they realize it IS real? Bring on the FEELS!!!
I absolutely loved, loved, LOVED this surprising conclusion to this series that had me seriously laughing more than it had my tears flowing (which is VERY unusual when it comes to a CM read, trust me!!!) And the bonus epilogue??!! That put the cherry on top for me, a PERFECT finish to wrap up one of my TOP series from not only Corinne Michaels, but from any author! I can't WAIT to see what comes next!
Whenever I read a book by Corinne Michaels, I have my guard up because I know the angst is coming. And I mean that in a good way because she has the most creative mind and takes great care in creating a plot and storyline where every chapter and every action of her characters have purpose.

As always Corinne knows how to hit us right in the feels. I have loved the entire Willow Creek Valley series but i think this one is my favorite. The chemistry Oliver and Maren have is just perfect! After reading A Chance For Us I am wishing for my very own Oliver. Loved the little cameos throughout the story as well. Definite must read!
I couldn't wait for Oliver but was also sad knowing it was the last book in the Willow Creek Valley series. Corinne did not disappoint, but then again she NEVER does! All these brothers have a special thing about them but Oliver just pulled at my heart string. He was the one always willing to help a friend and be there for people but he was afraid of love after giving his heart to 2 women before and them breaking it. He always felt like the 2nd choice, that nobody ever choose him. He was content to be alone out of fear of rejection. While getting ready to open the resort him and his siblings were running, Maren (A friend from college) shows up asking for his help. Little did he know just how agreeing to this will change his life.
This book takes you on a journey through amazing friendships, sibling love, loss of a parent, heartbreak and a medical scare. It definitely pulls on your heart strings in true Corinne Michaels fashion. This was the perfect book to end this series. It also has so many amazing characters from her previous series that you just cant help but be giddy about when they show up!!
I can't remember the last time I cried so many tears while reading a book. There were tears of sadness, tears of grief, tears of happiness, and tears from laughter. This book made me feel so much. Oliver and Maren's story is so much more than I was prepared for.
This is a friends-to-lovers, fake relationship, forced proximity, small town romance like no other. I mean really, what can go wrong when a college friend you haven't really seen in ten years books your resort for her wedding, then asks you to marry her as soon as she gets there.
I fell in love with the Parkerson siblings from the very first book in the Willow Creek Valley series. Maren is a wonderful new addition to this family. I truly loved her and Oliver's story. I enjoyed the appearance of some of my other favorite Corinne Michaels characters too. This is a book that you will not regret reading.
This book has all the feels. Oliver is such a sweet, funny, and loving guy. Maren is sweet and loving as well as devoted. The two had been friends from college and when Maren books the Firefly for a wedding they find they get more than they bargained for. You will laugh, cry, and swoon. We get to see so many favorite people from Corrine’s different books. It is like a homecoming of sorts with new and old friends.
What a way to end this series. Damn just DAMN! A Chance For Us (Willow Creek Valley #4) is about a fake marriage between Oliver and Maren however, this emotional book is so much more than that. I’m so glad that Corinne Michaels saved the best for last as Oliver was more than deserving of a wonderful story and she certainly didn’t disappoint. The storyline along with the plot twist absolutely took my breath away and yanked at my heartstrings. Ms. Michaels does what she does best which is tear me to shreds however, she found a way to put my broken heart back together. Kudos on a well written book and an even better series.
Oh my stars. My heart with this one. What started out as an outlandish proposition turns into something so much more. You could feel that chemistry between Maren and Oliver right from the start regardless of how much they tried to deny it. When Maren will go to any length to give her dad his last dying wish, Oliver is recruited. What ensues is pure insanity, swoon moments and so much more. Can this relationship work being built on a lie or will it implode? There are so many raw moments in this book that will hit you hard with the feels and make you adore Oliver just that much more. Maren, her heart is in the right place. But you could feel how much this was eating them all having to carry the rouse. There are some unexpected twists in this book, lots of passionate moments and hard ones too. It was a beautiful blend of all of them and I could not put this book down. I am sad to see this world come to a close, but knowing the author, they will pop up here and there as she brilliantly adds past characters into each new story. I think this one is my favorite from the Willow Creek Valley world!
This is the last book in the Willow Creek Valley series and what a book this was! Oliver Parkerson is my hero! Oliver and Maren went to college together and are reunited years later when she plans to have her wedding at the Firefly resort. An unexpected event will rock Oliver's world and nothing will ever be the same. This was such a beautiful story with emotional ups and downs. Corinne Michaels knows how to write a book full of emotion and this is added to that great list. Maren is selfless and just wants to do right by her father and give him one last memory. And Oliver, I couldn't get enough of him and I am so sad to see the end of the Parkerson family. Be prepared to laugh, cry and totally swoon over Oliver. Absolutely loved the conclusion of this series and would highly recommend it!!!
Much like the other books in this series this one packs a punch. It’s rammed full of twists and turns, the storyline doesn’t stand still and I couldn’t put it down!
The story is an emotional one, it’s also got lots of light, fun moments too. Maren and Oliver have an instant spark and connection. Takes some time for it to settle in but considering the subject matter of this book it’s surprisingly not too heavy a read.
The family dynamic is as fun as the previous books and you get to catch up with everyone.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review. A pretend marriage to make her dying father happy might make two people fall in love for real. Maren wants to make her dying father happy and to fulfill his last wish of walking her down the aisle. But when her fiance dumps her days before the wedding she doesn't know what she is going to do. In steps Oliver Parkerson, he has a heart of gold and will help anyone he can. Has he made a mistake this time or will they fall in love in the end? I have loved everything about the Parkerson family and I knew that Oliver's story would be bittersweet because it was the end of the series. Oliver and Maren's story is fun-loving, bittersweet, tear-filled, and a twist is thrown in to make it even better. This author has a way of drawing you into a story or series that will keep you there until the end and leave you feeling as if you are part of the family and wanting more. I highly recommend this series or anything written by this author, you will not be disappointed, just bring tissues.
This series has been one of the best series I have read in the last year! It‘s bittersweet that it is ending but it is ending on a high note!
We finally get Oliver‘s story! We met Oliver in The One for me when he was the boyfriend of Devney who ended up packing his bags and leaving town. I love Oliver. He‘s seriously the sweetest guy ever. He has very big commitment issues due to his past relationships imploding and him being the second choice.
Maren is Devney‘s best friend and an old friend from Oliver. She‘s trying to fulfill her fathers dying wish and when her fiancé decides to call off the engagement she is forced to find another solution.
I really really loved Oliver and Maren‘s story! It was filled with so many heartwarming and emotional scenes. Corinne is a master of small town, family romances with a twist you won‘t see coming and alot of emotion!
