TIANA KING A monster took my sister from me. I swore I’d make him pay, even if it cost my life. After over a year, my quest for revenge brings me to Sicily. But I never anticipated what I’d find. Now I’ve landed in a situation where it’s a clash between dishonoring my sister or trusting my heart. I must keep my guard up because there’s no way I’ll allow him to complicate my emotions. No matter if he’s a lesser monster than the last.
ALESSANDRO FATTORE I’ve always pitied men that allow love to destroy them. One-night stands are enough to satisfy my needs. Falling is simply out of the question. Then she enters the club, and my eyes haven’t left her since. I knew her presence was suspicious right from the start. Yet, I cannot rid myself of the temptation. Now I’m experiencing emotions I’ve managed to evade for so long, and it’s damn near painful to fight.
We’re both against falling for different reasons. But as an enemy threatens her life and mine, avoiding our feelings proves difficult when staying together is the best option.
*A slow burn standalone in the series. You do not have to read the first two books. But certain details might make more sense if you do. 18+ for mature language, sexual content, and violence.
Promise Never is my favourite story from the Promise Me series thus far. Yes, I enjoyed the push and pull between Solari and Domenico, but Tiana and Alessandro amped things up. It's super sexy for a slow burn. Ms. Symone West brought the heat and undeniable chemistry between Tiana and Alessandro. Their personality, flaws, heartbreaking backgrounds and unpleasant life experience was the icing on the cake for me. Tiana is strong, tough as nails and a total badass. She isn't afraid to face her demons and would do anything for family....LOVE THIS. Alessandro is a tenacious, hard, jealous man but has made the most out of what life has dealt him.
This book is gripping from the first page, and you become captivated by Tiana's need for revenge and her inner turmoil and conflict.
Don't you love when you dive into an author's work and fall in love with their writing immediately? When you know that you're going to love the story from the beginning? That's what happened to me when I read Promise Never. I'd been searching for a good mafia romance and within the first couple of chapters, I knew I found exactly what I was looking for!
The story follows Tiana. She is a very strong heroine and I loved that. She came all the way to Italy to take revenge on the man who killed her sister. But instead she finds his brother Alessandro.
Alessandro is everything you'd want from a mafia man. He is hot, cocky and controlling. He is a dangerous man who gives her shelter even after she tries to kill.
Promise Never is a captivating mafia romance that kept me up all night long reading. It's well written, violent, and steamy.
But in all seriousness, this has one of the BEST sexual tension I've ever read. it was also so never-ending in the beginning that even I was more frustrated than the MCs. so yes, this was kind of a slow burn and I LOVED IT.
Honestly this book just shows that you don't need to have a lot of sex scenes to make a book hot !!!
Symone made me realized that just like I have a kink for villains, I also love my villains with the most badass girl possible . I love the Good Girl but not the doormat, not someone who falls at the Hero's feet.
Tiana is the perfect combination of sass, beauty, wit but also she had manners, compassion, and kindness. Yup, she is flawed but who is perfect and flawless? If we don't have our share of dumb moments then we aren’t humans.
Oh and if you haven't figured it out by now... this is by far my favorite book in the Promise Me series.
Symone West impressed me, exceeded my expectations, and now, she has a brand new fan!
I’m pleased that Ms West gifted us with a brave heroine. The final fighting scene was great and unlike most mafia book, Alessandro and Tiana were pretty evenly matched skills wise. The constant hot and cold was frustrating but understandable given what happened to her sister and Alessandro’s facial features. The appearance of Solari and Domenico was fun. It made me laugh how upset Alessandro was that they save his and Tiana’s life. I hope they can become friends. I’m now curious about Enrique. Will the next book be about him I wonder.
These Italian men go from I will never give my heart to a woman to you're mine and will never be able to leave real quick. 😅 This is a slow burn mixed with a lot of guilt. Tiana is scrappy and a good match for Alessandro. Solari and Domenico make a small cameo. I would say the book doesn't pick up until maybe chapter 18 so be prepared for that.
CN: murder, torture, mention of sexual assault, car accident, strangling, rough and unprotected sex (without conversation of status)
I was almost ready to scream if she said she "couldn't" because of her dead sister. That phrase was so over used in this story. But all in all it wasn't to bad a read.
This book was so cute! The action was well planned and the spicy scenes were amazing. The FL’s feelings in this book were realistic and actually made her motivations seem legitimate. She was a great character and I enjoyed her progress. The ML didn’t have a lot of substance in my opinion and the slow burn contributed to this fact. 7/10🐣
Promise Never was a good book but great or extra. I believe this story could have gone on way longer...more story with more vivid details like the previous books. Still enjoyed it though.
Great story line with lots of action. Girl plots to kill and instead is protected by her intended victim. Of course they fall for one another and the steamy scenes are fire
DNF First, the reviews are clearly for a different book, character names and plot don’t match up. Second it was very rushed and I only made it to chapter 4
Promise Never by Symone West was a fast paced sexy mafia romance. Tiana is a very strong heroine who has come all the way to Italy to take revenge on the man who killed her sister. But here she finds his brother Alessandro Fattore who gives her shelter even after she tried to kill him by mistake. Some people are after her and it appears they are Alessandro's enemies too. . Alessandro is everything you can expect from a mafia man.C0cky. Attractive. Controlling. Dangerous. He is building up his family's reputation from ashes and he is obsessed with Tiana from the moment they met. But Tiana is hesitant and she cannot separate her desire for Alessandro from her hate for his brother. The back and forth was a bit frustrating but understandable. I love how the Author doesn't spend time on minor things and let the things hit up instantly. Be it the action. Be it the suspense. Be it the passion. Alessandro is definitely a different kind of man when it comes to Tiana and she comes to accept it over her stubbornness and fierceness gradually. . I reviewed an early copy voluntarily
I truly enjoyed this book. This is the 3rd book in the series and it did not disappoint. Alessandro and Talia went through quite a dance with their emotions. The moment they met they could not explain what they felt, but chemistry was there. Talia was trying to avenge her sisters death. The only family and link in life she had. The accused for her sisters death was Luca (Alessandro's brother). Upon misinformation purposely given she is lead to Alessandro believing him to be his brother. When enemies soon come out the wood works after them both it leaves Talia no chose but refuge in his home. From there these 2 go through quite a large dose of attraction, hate, and guilt. A great story
Not as great as the first one but it could definitely pats for being one of my favorite books. The storyline is new and interesting and still link to the other books in just a small way.
I really liked this one of all the three books. Alessandro suffered just because he looks like his evil brother Luca who is now dead. I am glad that Tiana stopped judging him and realized that he is not the one that killed her sister and they both fell for each other. Beautiful story!
From revenge to falling madly in love. From enemies to more then lovers. Awesome book. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.
