3 books5 followersCarl D. Smith is a proud Iowa native. He has been a doll salesman, roofer, minister, pharmacist, Specialist in Poison Information, roller rink DJ, and writer. He is a lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction.
Carl has wanted to be a writer since he first read “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury in 5th grade. The author still resides in the city where he was born. His interests include the Chicago Cubs, the Dead Milkmen, ancient Rome, archery, painting little metal dwarves and gnolls, sweet corn, old Marvel comics, reading, and gas station hot dogs.
He has a beautiful wife and two wonderful children, to whom he promised to take to Disneyland if his writing ever makes him famous. Most of all, he wishes people would find a way to help other people more often with empathy and lack of judgment.
