Rate this book
My life was finally on track.
Until my boss’s brother transferred to our office.

From the minute I met the broody, handsome, and infuriating Aiden Bronson, he was destroying all of my carefully made plans.

First, he hijacked my Uber. Then, he caused an accident that left me out of work for months.

Except, the disastrous day we spent together turned into the most fun day of my life.

And now, I can’t stop thinking about him. Or that kiss!

He doesn't feel the same about me, and even if he did, any future together is hopeless.

He’s not allowed to date employees.
And with no family or safety net, I can’t risk my livelihood.

But when he becomes my new boss, and we get trapped together in a beach house, I don’t know if I can resist risking it all.

Between heart and career
It is a good simple romance whose main problem of the heroes Lauren and Aiden, is the risk taking that is the attraction between them: her, for the endangering of her career, and him, because of his past and the rule of no relationship in the company.
Their story is mostly tender as they are torn by their feelings, but the story knows a few twists and turns that call everything into question.

I actually thought the beginning of this book was really cute and fun and the ....it was honestly horrible. The entire story takes place over...five days?? All of the DRAMA. A new plane crash, having to stay at a random beach house, being demanded to leave town for months with two hours notice by Lauren's boss...I could go on but basically 65% of this book makes absolutely no cohesive sense. Plus...the mmc and fmc FIGHT and snark at each so much...why would we want them to be together???

I just didn't believe that these two were in love.

The story itself wasn't too bad but it did repeat itself a few time. She asked him a question (cant remember what now) and then she asked him again a few chapters later.

So Aiden isn't a bad guy. I feel he was treated a little unfairly by his family. He had a relationship with a colleague that didn't turn out great and made the company look bad (apparently) and his dad seemed really bitter about it. Anyway they have made him leave wherever he lived and move to the headquarters i guess so they can keep an eye on him. When he arrives they company is on a retreat and hes stalling so he gets coffee and the steels the mfcs uber. Shes pissed and he is a dick about it. They share the taxi and she tells him all about her shitty job not knowing he is one of the many Bronson brothers.

Lauren is more annoying than Aiden. She is so worried about pleasing people and not been late to any of he events at the retreat even though she dosen't want to do the job. While rushing about Aiden calls out to her and she trips and breaks her wrist. Now i understand her not wanting to go to the hospital. I live in the UK and the NHS is a wonderful thing but I've read and seen enough to know in the US it isn't good going to hospital if you don't have a lot of money. But why couldn't she work for 8 weeks? I once broke my thumb and had to wear a splint on my arm and i went to work in an office!

Anyway after that some of the story kinda goes off the rails. He takes her to some sort of clinic and she gets fixed up then they have a nice evening together but he decides that just been her friend will be too hard so while she is at home for 8 weeks he doesn't contact her.

Then she goes back to work to be told her job has changed and she has to fly to Florida with Aiden. On the way there is a storm and they have to land. They are photographed together and his dad demands they come straight back but they have to stay until the storm passes. The whole time they are away Aiden is thinking the best thing to do is for Lauren to quit her job. He has enough money so she should quit.

She hates change. It gives her anxiety and all kinds of problems but she never tells Aiden that so when he is saying 'don't worry i can look after you' he doesn't realise why she isn't jumping on his offer.

Then after she explains to him all they ways he is a spoiled brat he goes to his father and he quits and she gets an even better job within the company she wanted to leave at the beginning.

I enjoyed some of the book but there were issues.

They fall in love in 3 days! They meet and spend 24hrs together then he ghosts her, then they get sent to Florida and are there for 2 days then come back and he quits so the story is really over 3 days and he quit his job with his family and she was willing to quit hers too. After 3 days!

It was a little to insta love for me. I only like insta love in a novella.

'The New Billionaire Boss' by Tina Gabor is the first book in her new series Bronson Billionaire Romance and tells the story of Lauren, assistant to Damien Bronson, and Aiden, one of the Bronson brothers and newly transferred to the LA office. The LA team is at a corporate retreat in Malibu and Lauren is waiting to hear if an offer was accepted on a house she was purchasing with her partner in Florida but there is no cell reception. Lauren goes down the hill to get cell reception and a decent cup of coffee. She handles her business and is getting into her Uber when a man gets into the car and claims it is his. She needs to get back to the retreat as it is mandatory for all employees and her boss is running it, so she pushes her way into the car and the driver agrees to drop her off first. What Lauren doesn't realize is that the Uber stealer was Aiden, her boss's brother, who was also heading to the retreat.

As Lauren is heading into the meeting room Aiden calls out her name, she turns to see who is calling her, trips on a rock, and falls down hurting herself. Aiden feels terrible and offers to take Lauren to the doctor. Lauren hurt her wrist and ankle, was given crutches and told she had to take it easy for the next few weeks. Since Lauren lived alone Aiden took her home to his place to take care of her. They just need to ignore the mutual attraction they feel. Which shouldn't be an issue since they now work together and not are not allowed to date. Especially since what happened the last time Aiden got involved with an employee.

Ms. Gabor has kicked her new series off with a great story. This book has drama, laughs, family meddling, trust issues, passion, and plenty of heat. The chemistry between Lauren and Aiden is both sweet and hot. I can not wait for the next story. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of drama with their romance.

Lauren is great at her job and only wants to excel there so she can build her investments. After all, investing is the only way she’ll ever break free of working for someone else. The company she works for treats her well but she keeps turning down promotions because she doesn’t want to get complacent and spend her whole life there. Her plan is going perfectly, until her boss’ brother joins the company.

Aiden Bronson makes her life difficult from the moment she lays eyes on him and it keeps getting worse. In just a few hours, he’s managed to turn her life upside-down and not in a good way. Lauren just wants him to leave her alone before he does any more damage, but Aiden wants to at least try to make it up to her, even if he can’t fix everything. They spend the most wonderful day together but enjoying each other’s company only complicates their lives.

Their attraction is so strong but Aiden can’t bring another scandal to the company by dating an employee again and Lauren can’t afford to lose her job. After all, his family owns the business so it’s not like he’d be the one to get fire for fraternizing. They want to make it work, even if it won’t be easy, but new obstacles keep popping up to drive them apart. Lauren and Aiden’s story is sweet and funny with some angst and a bossy, judgmental brother but I like the way it ended. I really enjoyed these characters and was rooting for them, so I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Bronson Billionaire Romance series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Lauren is the assistant to Mr. Damien Bronson heading on her way to a company retreat, and some jerk attempts to steal her Uber, she gets hurt in the process of trying to keep her uber and it is the jerk’s fault. Aiden sexy as all get out jerk who try to steal her uber is also her boss Damien’s brother. Of course, he takes her to the doc. and insist on taking care of her afterwards but in doing so they get to know each other, and the attraction grows to something more, but it can’t happen because it will ruin her career, and his reputation forced them to put rules in place stating no relationship in the company. So, with the magnetic pull being unable to ignore where are they headed, will they talk with his brother, will she keep her job and can they find something more like happiness?

Lauren is the assistant to Mr. Damien Bronson. One day she is going to a company retreat, and some jerk attempts to steal her Uber. The jerk turns out to be Damien's brother Aiden. She gets injured and it's partly his fault, so he drives her to the doctor and takes care of her afterwards. There is mutual attraction but it gets complicated because their situations are inequal and he's not supposed to be dating employees.
I liked the characters and the dialogue. The writing style is pleasant and entertaining, and there are moments of real emotion.
This was my first book by Tina Gabor and she will definitely be an author to watch in the future.

Lauren and Aiden . . .

Lauren was Damien Bronson’s assistant. She was heading out for the company retreat when someone tried to steal the Uber she called. That someone was her boss’ brother, Aiden Bronson. Lauren is injured, blame placed on Aiden, so he takes her for medical treatment. Because she is an employee, they cannot act on their attraction. She also would not risk losing her job because of fraternizing.

But getting trapped together in a beach house makes it difficult to follow the rules. Can they resist? Or will they give in to their impulses?

A fight for an Uber??!
by Happy-Girl

When they first meet, Aiden and Lauren are both late and need an Uber. Laurel called it but Mr. Malibu tied to steal it!
And then there is the accident that will keep her from work for... Mr. Malibu's brother!
This new series, about the Bronson brothers, is very promising! It's original, funny, hot...

I love this book! So sweet and cute, and dare I say it, realistic for a billionaire romance. I loved Lauren, the heroine, and found her to be smart and sassy. The happily ever after scene was perfect, and the epilogue made me want to read the next book in the series. I can't wait to see what happens with the other brothers, and I low-key have a crush on the dad. lol

Really enjoyed this book. New to me author but I’ll look for more in the future. Also this is a first in a series so we’ll get to see more from some of the characters.

The meeting was entertaining and you couldn’t wait to see how else these two were going to interact or what was going to happen next.

enjoyed

Read this book series awhile ago, just writing my review. This was my first time reading books by the author, I loved the whole series. It’s funny, spicy. Loved the FMC in all the books as characters are interconnected even tho they are standalone. The MMC are swoon worthy. Really enjoyed

Okay

I was disappointed that Aiden was a non alpha male. So immature for someone his age. I found him very annoying. Lauren on the other hand was a competent adult. Frankly she ended up being like a mother to him. So disappointing.🙄

There were typos

Overall, I like how well thought out and articulate the arguments were. There were real issues that could happen in an unequal partnership. The spoiled rich kid doing things for himself and failing was funny. It was a good read.

I thought this was cute. I liked that this was different. It started out giving you the impression that he was an alpha hole but he is very much not one. He’s nothing like the typical dominating bossy billionaire.

This was super cute! Easy read with bonus chapter on the website. It was just a cute read about a billionaire and brother of her boss, and an assistant who wants to make it big on her own and their series of unfortunate events that led to them falling in love and being together!❤️❤️❤️

"The New Billionaire Boss" was a fun enemies-to-lovers/workplace romance featuring likeable, three-dimensional characters and an engaging plot. Sparks flew between protagonists Lauren McCall and Aiden Bronson from the moment they met, although some of them were from anger rather than attraction given that Aiden was in the process of stealing Lauren's Uber at the time. When they met again later that same morning and Aiden accidentally caused Lauren to sprain her ankle, he volunteered to take care of her, hoping for a chance to improve her first impression of him. She soon learned that he wasn't the typical arrogant billionaire she was expecting; instead, he was caring, protective, funny, and sweet, exactly the type of guy who could easily become her friend, if not more.

Having just returned to the West Coast branch of his family's company after a disastrous end to his engagement to a fellow employee in the New York office, the last thing Aiden expected was to fall for another co-worker. His family warned him to stay away from Lauren more than once, not only because they couldn't afford another scandal, but also because she was such a valued employee. He couldn't seem to stay away from her, however, and she turned out to be exactly the perfect match for him. I liked how smart, driven, and determined to succeed Lauren was, as well as the fact that she never let Aiden hide behind his charm and rich playboy persona.

Overall, I loved "The New Billionaire Boss" and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. The story felt somewhat more realistic to me than most billionaire romances, but there was still more than enough of a fantasy element for me to enjoy. I look forward to whatever Tina Gabor writes next. (I'm not-so-secretly hoping it will be Aiden's brother Damien's story. I really want to know what happened with him in Florida!)
