About the Book

"Sustainable living" describes a lifestyle seeking to reduce an individual's, or a family's, or a society's use of the Earth's natural resources, and the unit's personal resources. Practitioners of sustainable living attempt to reduce their carbon footprint by altering their use of transport, energy, and their diet. Such people live in ways that are consistent with sustainability, or natural balance. Books relevant to sustainability are largely based on the acquisition and / or production of food, resources and other necessities of life by natural means.
