A Fated Mates Sci-fi Romance

When you’ve f**ked up the known universe it tends to ruin things.

My name is Charlotte and a big green mean machine has captured me. Okay, he’s an orc but he has spikes on his biceps, which is plain wrong.

Truthfully, I had despaired of life, and he did rescue me, but this excruciating attraction we have for each other is unacceptable when he is an ORC and I am human.

Neither of us wants to give in to these animalistic desires.

And I cannot tell him the consequences of my stupid revenge, but if I don’t this starship may never arrive at its destination.

When he shows me compassion as well as love, understanding instead of hate, and when he refuses to treat me like a toy to be used in bed, I am undone.

How can I tell him that I am the real monster?

This might be the last time I will ever curl up in his lap.

Get your steamy monster fix here! Contains one messy, slippery, slick-loaded, MfM monster-sharing scene.

Although these orcs drink coffee and travel on starships, they are not civilised. You can take them to the stars but you will never take the axes from their big, gnarly fists or the sexy growls from their throats.

Remember Charlotte? The girl that was abducted with Isolde in Cari Silverwood’s Warden? I sure do!
And that the black Orcs under the leadership of Kragga were asked to find her?
The story there…that was something i couldn’t wait to hear!
So,you can imagine how i felt when i found the ARC to Alien Owned in my inbox….

Being sold to Vedrock, locked up in a cell on his private spaceship, the Social Deviance, isn’t good. What that sadistic bastard Vedrock did to her was bad, very bad.
But what she did in an attempt to get back at him,was far worse, wasn’t it?
Plus,it left her blinded,too.
At least he left her alone after that….
And then she hears heavy footsteps, the kind she hasn’t heard before.
It’s a good thing she’s found by the black Orcs,or she would’ve died….

Kragga promised Isolde he’d do his best to find her bestie, but the badly hurt, and unconscious girl he finds,is that her?
He can’t exactly ask Isolde, she’s in the middle of her heat, with Gideon.
The girl’s eyes are disturbingly red,so he takes her to the mechling doctor called Quinn.

Kragga is affected by whatever happened, and this means he’s turning into an alpha.
And with Charlotte turning into an omega, this can only mean good things, right?
If he can get her to fully wake up,that is.
Finding out how to do that is….interesting.
And leads to his fantasy coming up with all sorts of things he can do to this delicious female….

One of the side-effects of whatever happened is that there’s an increasing number of alphas and omegas and how to stop that?
The clever mechling doctor may have a solution, but will it work and what does he want in return?

This story was só delicious and i loved every second of it!
With Kragga’s way of handling Char, and how she responded.
With a very interesting gogogian called Radaka….and his newfound skills.
With Smorg still having a foul mouth and crazy ideas…i love that sword!
And those mechlings that were so very efficient and were so very like-able,love-able even.

Now if someone can tell me where Jinx is…..

My Review

I enjoyed this I’m a sucker for a good sci-fi read and here we get to catch back up with Charlotte the friend from the first book. So when we start this she is still currently being held aboard Vedrock’s docked ship the social deviance. All that she had set in motion in regards to the mother ship the filthy lucre with her newly emerged and erratic omega powers have also equally affected her. Charlotte's eyes are no more and they are now infecting her whole system which is slowly shutting down on her.

When the ship is besieged Charlotte now finds herself in the company of Orcs well one, in particular, their leader Kragga. She finds herself being drawn towards Kragga and he too is experiencing changes, slowly evolving and morphing into an alpha who is definitely more than a match for Charlotte's inner omega.

Kragga had been tasked with rescuing Isolde’s friend and when he finds the unconscious injured woman he does everything he can to nurse her back to health even having her eyes replaced with synthetic ones. As much as he’s drawn to her he is also determined not to allow himself to succumb to the madness of an alpha rutt already having lost friends to this strange new phenomenon infecting everyone but he doesn’t really stand a chance when confronted with the reality of this little human omega. But when he discovers just how involved Char is with all that has occurred however unintentionally he does struggle to reconcile himself and come to terms with all that she has unintentionally wrought.

So this was debauchery at its best being omegaverse there are copious amounts of fluids we also have huge appendages and plenty of deviant behaviour from both Char and Kragga combined. Exhibitionism is rife with this one and there are also two occasions that have slight inclusion from others that includes tentacles and some fun implements.

If I had to describe this I’d say space opera omegaverse with lots of graphic content. It was way sexy but at times also serious. It was also witty and fun and there’s a real tongue in cheek feel at times that I did appreciate. Both Charlotte and Kragga are relatable characters and I did like them. Char definitely loves all the imaginative and lurid things Kragga subjects her to in fact they are very well suited in their mutual kinks. I also appreciated that final chapter a lot as I did think it showed all of the affection and mutual love these two share together without actually vocalising it some things don’t need saying they just are.

This was well written and very imaginative be aware there’s a slight dub-con feel at times to some of the encounters but at the same time, it is all still very consensual. I definitely recommend if this is your jam it was a blast. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Alien Owned (Ravaged #2)

In Warden we had orcs on a bus, in Alien Owned we are treated to orcs in a boat as well as a fast-paced, rip-roaring story with a great mix of steam, humour and adventure. Whilst this book can be read standalone I would recommend reading the aforementioned Warden, which is where we first meet both Charlotte and Kragga.

Even down here, something of her called to me.... She was omega and I had to learn to handle this.

Strange things are afoot in the universe, an unusual happenstance has resulted in the emergence of male Alpha's (replete with bulging muscles and knobbly protrusions) along with enticingly scented Omega females. And Charlotte is to blame, though she could never have imagined that this would happen, or that some Alpha's would become crazed, resulting in fighting, marauding, fires and destruction.

Kragga has been tasked with finding Charlotte and getting her to safety, which is exactly what she will be whilst kneeling half-naked and chained at his feet. Sort of. If it didn't trigger every kinky button Charlotte has because it means she has no power to resist this giant green mountain of orcaciousness. I don't blame her either, my word this male and his devious, deviant desires are enough to melt any girl's panties. Who knew how scorching hot tentacles are? Is getting probed by an alien a kink I'm into? Why, yes, yes it is 😉.

Consider yourself warned that this book is a kinky, dub-con, smut-fest of monster alien debauchery. What's that I hear you say? Sign you up? Yes, you would be missing out on some erotic enrichment if you don't read this. Whilst it is a little insta-love - not that you will catch an orc using the dreaded "L" word - when you have a super-possessive, big, **nudge, nudge, wink, wink** green orc doing unspeakable things to you, all of which get your engines revving, which self-respecting heroine isn't going to fall head-over-heels for the guy?

What can you expect if you read this book? A well written, slightly crazy but incredibly hot story that also has a decent plot, great world-building and some delightful alien kink-ery.

"The moon and sun above could not surpass the beauty of your unhinged lusts" *cue swoon*

Alien Owned is the second book in this smutty Sci-Fi series and we get to find out what happened with Isolde's friend Charlotte. She is being held on Vedrock's ship and her new omega powers have emerged leaving her body to start to fail and blinded. As well as some other unintended consequences.

Kragga, an Orc has been sent to rescue Charlotte by Isolde and her mate and finds her aboard the ship broken. He rescues her and gets her the medical attention she needs including new tech eyes. Charlotte is biologically drawn to Kragga and his evolving alpha status and Kragga is finding it more and more difficult to keep his hands away from her. Worried that he will perish to the crazy of the alpha rut like some of his friends, he tries to evade it. However, the more time they spend in close proximity the more the craving for each other grows. But Charlotte has secrets and Kragga wants to know them and own her. Will Kragga still want Charlotte when everything is revealed? Can Charlotte find peace, love and happiness with Kragga?

So this book surprised me in a lot of ways. First, I found Kragga immensely entertaining and while he was definitely a dominant alpha alien he didn't lack the thoughtful and caring nature that I find lacking in so many characters like this. Second, I laughed a lot while reading this story...in your face or understated...there was a unique humor woven through this story that I really enjoyed. Third, the story line was action packed and wasn't riddled with predictable tropes and outcomes. The story, while connected to the first book in this series, stood entirely on its own in terms of individuality. Finally, the steam in here was OFF the charts. Alien Owned had some definite dominant/submissive vibes happening and while not all BDSM-like steam is my thing, it didn't throw me into the deep end when I couldn't swim.

As I said, I was smitten with Kragga and his dominant and possessive personality. Charlotte was a little more difficult to connect to because I feel like she spent a lot of time on Kragga's d*ck or a dildo (or a tentacle) lol and I was missing some character development from her. I am also aware this is more of an erotica novel so I am willing to let that slide. I also wasn't really into the sharing scenes in here. I have a hard time reconciling a male who is all "mine, mine, mine" but then turns around and shares his mate with other males whether by actual touch or just by sight. However, this is a personal preference and I don't believe it takes anything away from their blossoming alpha/omega romance. The world Cari has written and the side characters really added some depth and meat to this story and I am really looking forward to more in this series.

This is the second book by Cari I have read and it's been so fun. If you like Sci-Fi Romances with a lot of heat, an authentic plot and males or should I say dirty talking dominant aliens then definitely give this series a shot!

This picks up after Char and Isolde get separated in book one after Charlotte wrecked the galaxy with her previously unknown powers. Kragga is tasked with finding Charlotte and he does, but she's now blinded. A Mechling fixes her eyes and their adventure goes on to meeting Smorg the talking sword, a gogogian with tentacles that involves himself in Char and Kragga as they have sex and many other species and oddities. Char decides Kragga has a leaning towards being a romantic, in a sweet, big, green Orcish way. I can't say too much more without giving up the finer points of the story except this was an interesting story with much more to tell which we will hopefully see in book three. This is a stand alone story though, so read and enjoy!

Just when I think that Cari Silverwood can’t make this universe any more entertaining, we get Char and Kragga’s story and it is hilarious. Okay, it’s also hugely hawt—there’s tentacles!—with the interactions between those two tending to waffle along the very wavy line of Char stating, no-way/n’uh uh and do-it-to-me-now. So that’s basically the story. Sort of. The humor is delightful, the absolute butchering of the humans’ stories (movies, poetry) is perfect (perfectly adorable, but in a ferocious orc sort of way). Add in ALL THE DRAMA, and I can’t say enough good things about how entertaining Alien Owned is without risking spoilers, of which there would be many. Suffice to say, Ms. Silverwood has outdone herself with her genre tipping story of ABOs, sci-fi romance with overly green aliens and the tiny humans who scream, “It’s not going to fit!”, puns in space (that’s a thing, right), and whatever else she thinks to throw in just to stir things up. It’s funny, smexy, and I ended up ignoring “things” to finish reading it.

So, this is Charlotte's book. When we last saw her, she was not in a very good place, and she had to make some choices that were exceedingly hard and even more painful. Of course, no one at the moment knows what she has done, except for her. And now at the start of this book, she's pretty much completely f*&&(*&&ed. And, not, you know, in a good way. Then, she meets Kragga. And, well, things change.

I like Charlotte, a lot, but I think that sometimes she gets into her own head, and gets in her way. I think that she fought herself and what she wanted for a lot longer than she could've. I understand why she was making some of the choices that she did, because being scared is totally a thing, but I also think that she was operating with only 1/2 of the information that she needed at the time.

Kragga was really patient with her, and I really liked that. I thought that he showed all kinds of discipline and will power, which you normally wouldn't think of when you think of orcs. I really like that about him. Of course, that doesn't mean that he isn't going to do all kinds of violence, because, well, he is an orc.

And tentacles? Yes please.

My favorite line in the story is “The moon and sun above could not surpass the beauty of your unhinged lusts " and it could be the subtitle of the book. I loved this book because there was so much subtext...so much I could compare to today's political climate, myriad of racism and resistance to change. No, nothing is exactly comparable and no I'm not going into a dissertation or anything specific (this author is Australian and I'm USA anyway). I just wanted to show how a beautifully written sci-fi story can be relatable.

We meet Kragga and his gang in the beginning as they metaphorically "crash" a ship looking for Charlotte, Isolde's friend from book one in this series. He was hired to find her, and he does, but she's in rough shape. He meets a scared mechling doctor who says to call him Dr Quinn (An Ode to Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman? On TV early 90's I believe?). He goes with them since he's "woken" and he doesn't want to be destroyed. We also meet a initially scary tentacled sea monster who is confused about his new self. The gist of it all is these people have all changed, and are trying to decide why and if they want to change back.

I was fascinated by the side story of Charlotte and Kragga trying to get personhood for the "woken" mechlings. They filled out paperwork and looked up law. They delivered it to their "government" of sorts. Sounds familiar, right? Even aliens have red tape? Kragga started to treat Charlotte like a smart human here, and their relationship evolved.

And you have a drug created. (this is not a debate on viability. Just stating facts) The drug is supposed to save the people affected by a "virus" of sorts. Doctor Quinn headed a group that mastered this injectable drug that Kragga used and told Quinn it worked. Also timely!

I also like the fact that Author Silverwood often makes us the reader ponder who is the hero and who is the villain until the end, and I love her for that. Here she is sticking her tongue out at us readers:

"Knowledge and experience had jaded me, but not enough. Who was the bad guy here? All of them? Or was it me more than anyone?"

I had a blast reading this. The sex scenes are wonderfully bawdy, raunchy and spicy, just what I expect from my first orc book. This was my second favorite line from the story and I think it sums up the book nicely. "How to be a sex coach and a filthy deviant all at once."

Got to have goals, people.

An Omegaverse like no other!!

Once again we enter the omegaverse world Ms. Silverwood created for her Ravaged trilogy. This time around, we find out what happened to Isolde’s friend Charlotte who was also taken.

After experiencing unspeakable torture at the hands of Vedrock, Charlotte is found and rescued by a massive orc called Kragga. He is the leader of a band of Black Orcs so named for the swirling black tattoos covering their green bodies.

Life threatening injuries force Kragga to get help for Charlotte and he has no choice but to rely on the skills of an awoken mechling named Quinn. I immediately fell in love with this little guy and he’s become my second favorite character behind Smorg, the snarky sword who makes an appearance later on.

Initially Kragga is brutish in manner when dealing with Charlotte or “Char” as he prefers to call his pet, but that changes over the course of the story. During one of the many hot scenes in this story, we are introduced to a member of the gogogian race named Radaka. I fell in love with him as well and I hope he makes an appearance in the next book in the series.

Alien Owned is a fantastic continuation of the story that began in Warden: A fated mates sci-fi romance from the Ravaged trilogy. As always Cari has woven her own brand of humor throughout that had me laughing and snorting out loud. She also gives us some incredibly HOT scenes between Kragga and Char. One in particular involves a chair that required me to take a shower afterwards!!

I cannot wait to read the final book Vedrock: A fated mates sci-fi romance which is currently available for preorder. I am having the time of my life reading this series. The imagination of Ms. Silverwood knows no boundaries and it shows in this storyline involving Mauleons, Mechlings, Orcs, and a talking sword called Smorg. This is the true genius of her books. You just never know where Cari is going to take you or who/what you may meet next. But it’s guaranteed to be an erotic adventure where fun is had by all!!

Wonderfully delicious!

DAMN! I don’t know how Cari does it, but she continues to give us stories that are unique, thrilling, entertaining, titillating and highly erotic! The kind of stories that will have you grabbing your B.O.B. to read with you!!

Char and Kragga’s story is no exception! It was hilarious, delicious, action-packed and so damn HOT!!! It was just what I needed to get out of my current reading slump. I could not put this one down. I never wanted the deliciousness to end!

I loved all the hilarious interactions, the drama and suspense, and the loads of kinky fuckery. It was awesome.

I wish I could give this book more stars. This book was so well written and I am still smiling. It is also wonderful when you can read a book smile, laugh, and fan yourself all at the same time!

So, if you’re in the mood for a good laugh, a fantastic read, and one lovable crazy Orc, then this is the book for you!

Love, love, loved this book.

Charlotte was Isolde's friend from Warden, book 1 in this series. She finds herself in some trouble, and Kragga is determined to save her. I love the sexy, snarky, alien omegaverse world. It's funny at times, and serious at others. There's a good mix of action-adventure and space romance involving one hot Orc! Oh, and just to keep things extra interesting, tentacles may also take part in this cleverly written tale!

Once again Cari Silverwood has given us a smart, sexy, relatable, and funny science fiction erotic romance. Its amazing how she can weave all that together and not lose a beat. It blends so well that you'll be laughing and enthralled even as you get all steamy yourself. Not for those who don't want to read about monsters at 'play'! For those of us who do, this is Charlotte and Kragga's story, picking up from Warden which is the first book in the Ravaged series. I don't want to give away spoilers, but if you've enjoyed her other books, this one fits right in with her masterful writing.

Alien Owned is the 2nd book in the Ravaged Series. But this book can be read as a standalone unless you want some history then I would start at book 1, Warden. This is Charlotte “Char” and Kragga’s story. This is Cari Silverwood at her best in a made up universe.

Kragga is an Orc and an Alpha. Char is a human and an Omega.

I had to laugh a little when I read about the tentacles that Kragga had! Tentacles usually make it into Cari Silverwood’s books! I always love seeing how this author will make tentacles appear!

I loved reading about these kinky, tentacled Aliens and their human counterparts! This book left me with a smile on my face.

Another rollicking adventure from Cari!

This is an adventure into the ORC and Omegaverse world that, to me, only Cari could write. And when I say rollicking, I mean there is barely a time when action of some kind isn't happening. This made it a very fun read and especially hard to put down.

In this story, we get to know Charlotte and Kragga from the story, Warden. It is very much a standalone book, but isn't it better to know the whole story? Either way, we meet up with poor Charlotte at the beginning with no sight at all and definitely unconscious. Kragga has been tasked with finding her and bringing her to safety. Along the way, we see them both with increasing omega and alpha signs from Charlotte's foray into revenge against what Vedrock had done to her. Which, of course, leads to much of what Cari does best. Lots of kinky, dub-con, hot, alien, and human sex. A better word would be debauchery. Kragga does what any good ORC would do when he wants Char, as he has begun to call her. Because she is just a tiny human he needs to help her accept him but gets it from something else that is showing alpha tendencies. A tentacled creature called a gogogian. And my, oh my, does he help.

But besides all the kinkery, we have a great story with ORC's, humans, tentacled gogogians, those cute little mechlings, and a showing of the snarky talking sword, Smorg. There is so much going on here that it's hard to pick what to put down in a review.

This story was so much fun to read. Full of everything I love about Cari's stories. She really is a master at world-building, kinky alien sex, a great story, and a wonderful heroine and hero. I loved both Char and Kragga. I hope you give this a try and then go back and take a look at Warden, the beginning of this journey.

What a read!

This was a great story. I started reading it and quickly realized that I had the first book in the series -Warden – in my kindle pile of books to read that never seems to go down in size. So, I decided to read the first book before this one and I am glad I did. While this book can be read alone, I think the reader would get better enjoyment if they read the first book before this one as there were many references in this book from the first one.

I do have to say this was my first Human/Orc book and I was not quite sure what to expect but I was very entertained reading it. I loved both character a lot. There was action, lots of steamy scenes and quite a few laughs. I loved everyone in this book – Kragga, Charlotte, the mechlings, gogogians big and small and return visits from characters in the first book. Best of all there was an HEA. A great book for an introduction into this sexy, hot genre. Well done.

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. The story continues with Charlotte from the first book.

Charlotte finds herself on Vedrock’s ship, she can’t see and is wondering how to get herself out of this situation. Kragga and his team are on a mission looking for Charlotte, he happens upon her and brings her to his ship where he tries to help her. There is something about Charlotte that is calling to his alpha side and he’s worried more alphas will be coming for her.

Will he be able to resist her? Can he actually have anything with a human?

Overall this was an amazing read. We get several twists, turns and secrets. We get so many great out of this world characters and some are really packing (if you know what I mean). We get suspense, steamy scenes, danger and so much more. I can’t wait to see what is coming next in this series. If you're looking for a great read that pulls you in then I highly suggest this one. 1-click and get started today.

This was an ARC reading for me, but my review is my honest, unbiased opinion.

I usually read Cari Silverwood for her darker stories but I am really enjoying her lighter side. This is such a entertaining, fun read which you probably wouldn’t expect from a story filled with abducted humans, Orcs, large tentacle creatures, self aware mechlings, civil unrest, and impending doom, but it is.
This is Charlotte’s story, who we briefly met in the first Ravaged book. She is an Omega with some pretty amazing special powers and has been rescued by Kragga, an Orc, who is also an Alpha.
The adventure these two embark on is full of danger, discovery, lust, kinkiest, tenderness and maybe love.
This universe Ms. Silverwood has created is so amazing and I never want to leave. Love, love, love and definitely recommend.

Omg I loved Charlotte and Kragga! I loved finding out what happened to Charlotte after she gets separated from Isolde in book 1. This book was great! I loved learning more about the Alphas and Omegas. I loved seeing the Orc this time as we got to learn about the Mauleons in the previous books. Kragga is just as dirty as Gideon but in his own way. I loved the mechlings and the gogogians. This whole book was so much fun to read! Great story, great characters and a lot of hot orc sex! Definitely worth a read.

This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. Charlotte is in danger and Kragga is looking for her so he can bring her to safety. Kragga is an ORC and as the two spend time together, their alpha and omega sides come out and bring the sizzling scenes to the forefront. Fast-pace read with loads of drama, suspense and kink. Great characters, with depth and such fun. I loved it!

Tentacles, Orks, and Mecklings Oh My!

I absolutely love this series and am hoping there will be more set in this universe.

First off, so happy to see that Charlotte lives! I had expected the absolute worst for her and glad to see that wasn't the case.

I love Kragga and Char together. I also love the wild variety of characters in this book. It's a wild ride from beginning to end with lots of steamy parts in-between.

Orcs...say no more.

MADH GAJOL, y'all. That's all I gotta say. Don't know what that is? Well, you better go read this book to find out. You either are gonna love it or hate it and that's fine. Me, I loved it. Been waiting for it since the author mentioned Orcs. Even when she was just throwing out ideas without any promises or commitment to write any stories on them, I was excited. But once she mentioned the madh gajol, dead. She had me committed to reading this book no matter what was already on my reading list. No regrets at all.

A hulking, green orc that is both tender and fierce, a woman who has powers she doesn't fully understand, mechlings who want equality, a talking sword, and a gogogian with tentacles. There are a lot of cultural references, dangerous situations, sexy scenes, humor, and a love story that will melt your heart. Char and Kragga are perfect and this series just keeps getting better.

I loved this whole story as it's Bk2 in the Ravaged series. This is the story of Charlotte and Kragga who's friend's Isolde and Gideon were in Bk1 Warden and if you read that one I shouldn't have to tell you how good and hawt that was😏. Charlotte is in trouble and Kragga is trying to save her, he just has to find her. I love being taken back to the Omegaverse world. This book was a fast paced read it had loads of drama, suspense and of course there's kink aplenty. I absolutely loved it. Ive read several of this arthurs book's and just when I think she can't surprise me she whips out a book w/tentacles yes you read that right..tentacles. You just need to read it and find out for yourself.

Cari Silverwood’s unique style stays true with this addition to her Ravaged series. Well-crafted writing, immersive worlds that immediately draw you in, even without prior knowledge of the series. And her characters are just THE BEST. Also there’s tentacles. And additional…umm…spikes where it counts. Do yourself a favor and make Cari Silverwood a one-click author!

Oh wow!!

This was quite the story! The action was good. Kragga is an exceptional Orc that anyone would love to have as their own. I loved how this played out and I really need to go back and read Book 1 before I get to book 3.
