I recommend this book. I enjoyed it. You must read it. It is a story of a young widow amish woman. She was
pregnant with her dead husband. She had to move in with her cousin. Abel was very mean and was going to have her remarry. But she had other plans you have to read this story.
The story was great. I finished it in just hours. I couldn't stop reading until I finished. Becky was so strong in a sad time in her life. God sends whatever we need in at the right time . I truly believe in prayer. Thank you for such a wonderful up lifting story.
There's life after the death of her husband. After moving back to her home she gives birth to her baby and has help of a special man. Now she is remarried with a one year old and a new bopping on the way. Life has turned out so good with the love of a new husband.
Lost my husband and I had to move in with other family. I’m going to have a little one but my life isn’t going to well. He has plans to sell my farm and I’m not going to do that. I will not marry just because he thinks I should. Lord help me.
Most Amish men are very much in control of their wives and family. Sometimes this can be considered abuse. Not physical but mental. This book clearly shows the difference. I recommend it as an informative read
I couldn't put the book down once I started it. Hanna Miller captured the essence of sorrow, trials and tribulations. With God's protective arms around us anything is possible. Spring is definitely a time for new beginnings.
The hard part was losing her husband shortly after she found out she was pregnant. She had to go stay with her cousin and her family.I Her cousin's husband was not a very nice man. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
I read "The Promise of Spring" by Hannah Miller through the Kindle Unlimited program. This book was a delightful read. I really enjoyed the book. It is a clean, sweet romance.
This is a very good story about an Amish widow that lives with her cousin and finds he wants her out of his house she returned to her home and finds love
Wonderful story with its own darkness. Are Amish families more likely to spawn petty dictators than other communities? No, I don’t think so really but I didn’t like Abel for most of the book. I’m happy that it all worked out fine.
