It feels so good being back in the charming and quaint town of Luna Harbor. Always You (Luna Harbor #3) is a beautiful ride and a slow burn romance that made me immediately fall head over heels in love with Nando and Brianna. Their storyline is deep and Claudia Burgoa delivers an emotional romance with the perfect amount of entertaining humor that’s definitely worth reading.

Nando and Brianna are meant to be from the start however, they’re complicated characters for different reasons. They have an envious, long term best friends relationship with an unbreakable bond. Along with undeniable romantic chemistry and unique magic between them.

It’s interesting that Nando is a highly successful relationship expert yet he’s fearful of relationships. Unfortunately, Nando’s deep rooted emotional issues play a heavy role in that fear. It broke my heart to see my Nandito struggle like this. As painful as it is, it without a doubt makes for an intriguing storyline and this is what Claudia Burgoa does best. Brianna isn’t without her issues since she lost her mother at such a young age and her father never came to terms with the loss. These two are deeply entwined with each other, so much more than they know. They are good hearted people who deserve all the love and happiness.

Nando and Brianna have truly captivated my heart in the best way possible. And of course, the Cantù family and Too Far From Grace band members make appearances (specifically Lang who is everything and a sneaky SOB). They never fail to bring the comedic relief, support and they are heavy contributors to making this book even more enjoyable. Always You is such an excellent addition to this highly addictive series.

I love a good friend to lovers story and in ALWAYS YOU we have a best friends to lovers story that you’re not going to want to miss!

I really enjoyed watching the friendship develop between Brianna and Nando as well as their drunkin' kiss. Both Main Characters have lived through the loss of their mother, in different ways, and both have father issues, again in different ways, but it was nice to see that they were there for one another to work through it all.

What kind of hurt my heart was that they were in the "friend zone" for so long, Nando was this relationship expert but he just couldn't see that the most important person in his life was the one he put in the friend zone...until it was almost to late.

Claudia Burgoa did a wonderful job with giving us a glimpse into the life of TOO FAR FROM GRACE before they became famous and were still attending college along with Nando and Brianna. We get a real understanding of how things started to develop not only for the group but for their "other job" as well...if you have read any of their books you know what I am referring to and if you haven't you really need to.

Part of this story runs parallel to the prior books in the series and while this book can be read as a standalone it may contain spoilers of those books if you haven't read them yet. That being said this book actually begins before they do, with Nando away at college and his first meeting with Brianna who will become his best friend.

If you enjoy (Best) Friends to Lovers Romances, New Adult Contemporary Romances, Small Town Romances, Large Family Romances, or Slow Burn Romances I would recommend this one to you.

Happy Reading!!!

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Trigger Warnings: suicide, infidelity, found family, financial settlement issues, breast cancer death.

I loved Nando and Brianna! Though Brianna was a bit forgettable towards the end, but Nando was truly one of a kind.

I loved his approach on love and how to make couples stay together, despite him having his own tragic childhood and difficult parents with their own difficult marriage.

And Brianna was...I've honestly forgotten what her life was all about, something to do with bed and breakfasts, and her father not being able to manage on his own since her mother died. Something something.

And nando and her became friends after her going to new york and getting a tourguide/friend in him.

Then a friendship develops, coupled with their own demons, familial problems, and life.

But then chemistry develops and well the rest is history.

I loved being around them, the development was done well, the connection was definitely deep between them, the adventures and the hilarious communication between them was epic, and just how everyone meshed together so well, including some familiar faces playing cameos in here (here's looking at ya Beacon).

I loved it all so much. But then Claudia writes so brilliantly, so how could I not?

She made me want to believe in love, oh, what a feat to achieve for sure haha.

But I am glad I met this couple, and honestly I never want to let them go from my heart.

Sigh...

Until the next read,

The third book in Claudia Burgoa’s Luna Harbor series brings us back to the Cantù family and the small, quaint town of Luna Harbor. This was a slow burn, friends to lovers romance I couldn’t put down!

Nando and Brianna are meant to be from the moment they become friends, however, their pasts have made them complicated characters. These two have an unbreakable bond as best friends. They understand each other and are each other’s home.

Nando is a very successful relationship expert, however, seeing the aftermath of his parent’s relationship has made him fearful of relationships. Brianna lost her mother to cancer when she was six and her family never recovered. She’s always been alone and feels that she’ll never be good enough for anyone. Nando and Brianna’s journey from friends to lovers was beautifully captivating and intriguing. The banter and friendship between these two was too cute. I loved seeing them realize their feelings for each other and work out their individual issues.

I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy slow-burn, small town, friends to lovers romances with a large family dynamic.

I always look forward to the “first meet” in romance books. Sometimes it’s a meet cute, sometimes it’s a total disaster but for Nando and Brianna it was just right! FroM the second they met Nando got to experience Brianna’s sass and in return Brianna got to see Nando’s smooth talking ways! They were fast friends and connected instantly.

I love that Claudia gave us their full scope. We got to see them through their first meeting and see how they navigate life’s challenges together. We got every second of the growth and just how right they were for each other! Now them finally realizing it was the fun part of this journey! They both had to put aside their pride and really decide what their future held.

I love Luna Harbor and getting to see it grow through each book is so much fun! It gets me so excited for each book because we get to see the siblings find their place in the world but we also get to see their goals and dreams for the town reached! Can not wait for what comes next!!

This was a heartwarming best-friends-to-lovers story.

Fernando Cantù and Brianna Connolly have been friends since her freshman year at NYU, when they recognised a kindred spirit in the other. After one little tequila-fuelled hiccup in their friendship, they realised that they never wanted to lose the other, so they put each other firmly in the friend zone. Years later, still friends through thick and thin, Brianna is dragged to Luna Harbor to help the Cantù family put the town to rights. Her presence and her determination to sort out her miserable love life has Nando finally opening his eyes and recognising that Brianna is the love of his life, and he’s determined to make her fall in love with him, too.

Nando and Bri were such sweethearts! I loved their dynamic, their banter, and the fact that they were pretty much already in a committed relationship, but without the sexual intimacy. They were each other’s person. My heart ached that they spent a lot of years firmly friend-zoning each other when they could have had so much more. Nando had emotional issues that made him a relationship-phobe, and Bri was simply looking to belong somewhere and to someone. She was looking for something that was already right under her very nose. Their story spanned years as Nando developed his career and Bri struggled through her sense of duty. However, I loved how their Fairy Godfather, Lang, and Luna Harbor worked their magic, as they fought their fears and reached for their gorgeous HEA! 😍

I do love a great friends to lovers tale and that is exactly what we have here with Fernando (Nano) Cantu and Beanna Connelly. They begin as college friends in the big city of New York. They each have those hidden feelings but never truly show them. So, they end up always in contact, always that go to person and always that person so lean on. It is a love story that will span a few years, filled with bumps, bruises, heartache and so many missed moments. But in the end, we will be taken back to Luna Harbor and watch as these two close friends begin to navigate the waters that they fear will pull them apart. Loved this wonderful emotional journey with Nano and Breanna !

You may think you’ve read slow burn romance, but this is the Hope Diamond of slow burn. Soooo slow, with loads of angst, and so worth it!

Nando Cantù met Bri Connolly when she was seventeen and visiting the city for the summer. They became great friends, tested the waters once on a deeper relationship, and decided they weren’t willing to risk their friendship.

Years later, Bri's services are requested in Luna Harbor, and it's the first time in a long time that Bri and Nando are residing in the same zip code. They each have a few things to work out on their own before any romantic feelings can be addressed, but being with their favorite person somehow makes everything easier.

These two were a lot of fun and each was entertaining in their own way. Bri is adrift and trying to find her place in the world. Nando may think he's found his place, but then he learns something that completely pulls the rug out from under him. But through all the ups and downs, he's always had Bri and she's always had him. Sweet, humorous, and heartfelt, this amazing slow-burn romance is a terrific addition to a compelling, addictive series.

4* Friends to Lovers Stars

This was a quick an enjoyable friend to lover’s romance set in the Luna Harbor Series.

When Nando and Brianna meet in their freshman year at NYU their attraction towards once another was instant, but they decided to keep things safe and just be friends which they did for many years. When Brianna comes to Luna Harbor to help the Cantu family bring the town back to life, she asks Nando for lessons on dating especially that he is now a well-known radio host and love guru. This then sparks feelings and desires that both have kept hidden. When secrets are shared and truths told can their friendship blossom into love and the happiness they were both longing for?

I enjoyed their journey and the cameo appearances from the rest of the Luna Harbor characters. A great addition to the series.

5 star Review Always You (Luna Harbor #3) by Claudia Burgoa
It was great to be back in Luna Harbor for Fernando (Nando) Cantù and Brianna Connolly’s friends to lovers story. Always You was well written, entertaining and ticked all the boxes for me. It was steamy, emotional, romantic and witty and a story that will draw you in and hold you captive.
I love small town romances and I could easily see myself in Luna Harbor as I became invested in the story from the first chapter. Nando and Brianna were easy to relate to and I really liked them separately and especially together.
Nando and Brianna are best friends and have been so for years. When Nando asks Brianna to help the Cantu family in their quest to bring Luna Harbor back to life she agrees. However she has a request, she wants him to give her dating lessons.
What happens when lines are crossed? Will it ruin their friendship or be the start of a wonderful journey together?

Nando and Brianna have a sweet friends to lovers story. While they both have what felt like broken childhoods which placed doubt in their hopes for finding love and the perfect HEA they come together in the most perfect of ways. I love how Nando is the relationship advice king yet not being in one and all the supporting characters have great impact as well.

This is a friends-to-lovers slow-build romance

The story begins at the true beginning
Highlighting their friendship, the dynamics between them
That period from young adult to adulting when they relied on each other to battle against the obstacles that stood in the way of their dreams

IMO, the development of their friendship over the years was spotlighted, more than the romance. I enjoyed that we met them when they were just entering adulthood and we were able to take the journey with them.
They had chemistry from the beginning but never acted upon it. When they let their guards down under the guise of "teaching/learning" they could no longer ignore the obvious.

I love my visits to Luna Harbor and this time it’s Fernando (Nando) Cantù and Brianna Connolly’s friends to lovers romance. I love friends to lovers, small town romances and this read was everything expected and so much more, it’s a captivating, beautifully written journey that drew me in from the first few pages and didn’t let me go until I had read the final line.
Brianna and Nando have been best friends forever so she didn’t hesitate when her best friend asked for help the Cantù family bringing Luna Harbor back to life but she has a request of her own, she needs some lessons in the dating game….so will these friends cross the line and will their friendship be ruined or will this be the start of something wonderful. One click to find out.
I loved everything about this book, i fell and and fast for Nando and I adored Brianna, I swooned, I sighed, I laughed and I smiled a lot as I joined this couple on their journey. I’m now excited for what’s coming next from Luna Harbor and Ms Burgoa.

I liked Bri and Nando's story. Their long time friendship meant they were the best of friends because no one else got them like they did. Friends to lovers trope I am fond of because it personally speaks to me as I married my best friend. Fear of taking that leap from friends to lovers is real and risky, but your heart just knows.

I loved this story when it first released but listening to the audio was better. When Gregory Salinas speaks in Spanish with his sexy baritone as Nando I immediately get chills everywhere. Grace Grant is the perfect Brie. I loved it!

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Charming & Heartfelt!

Always You
Luna Harbor, Book 3
By: Claudia Burgoa
Narrated by: Gregory Salinas, Grace Grant

I am loving this “Luna Harbor” series and the fabulous characters and storylines Claudia Burgoa created, it has become one of my favorite places to visit, she definitely created something special when she created this world. And this third book is Fernando “Nando” Cantú and Brianna Connolly’s story and it is “friends to lovers’ romance that is both charming and emotional. Nando, the youngest of the Cantú siblings wanted to go college in New York, his father wanted him to go to college in Seattle so he would be closer to home, but compromised and allowed him to go to NYU as long as he stayed with his brother Manelik and his roommates. He jumped on that because who would not want to live in a brownstone in Brooklyn for free, but he soon learns it is not for free, he will owe them. Manelik gives him a security job to watch a newcomer to New York and show her around, she is attending NYU too. Brianna’s father is just being overprotected, she is already familiar with NY and when she meets her new babysitter, Fernando, she tells him she can show him around and she sure does. These two clicked right from the start and became best of friends, and we get to see their friendship over the years as they grow into their own and still get each other like no one can. They each deal with their own inner demons and family issues, Nando is keeping a secret from his family and it really eats at him, and Brianna never got over her mother’s leaving and what it done to her father. These two fell in love somewhere over the way, heck maybe it was from the moment they first met, either way neither would act on it because neither one wanted to jeopardize their friendship. It amazed me how Nando could dish out advice on love and relationships, yet not see what was right in front of him: love. I adored these two characters, sure it was a forever love years in the making, but it was great to watch how it all played out and to spend time with them. This wonderfully written and plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, humor delivered via charming and witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn, but oh so worth the wait, romance. Claudia Burgoa thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Claudia Burgoa always casts the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. The wonderfully talented Gregory Salinas and Grace Grant did an amazing job portraying these characters and did so with a complete understanding of who they were and grew with them as they grew. Salinas nailed it as Nando grasped every side of his personality, from his humor to his seriousness, and Grant did the same for Brianna, perfecting her role as well. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

This is book three in The Luna Harbor Series and it is Nando and Bri's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Bri's mother died when she was going and her father never got over her death and seem to check out on life so when she wanted to attend NYU her father allowed it but with stipulations in place and that is when she met Nando who she thought was handsome and funny and they ended up becoming friend's. Nando had so much baggage and to get some freedom he had to abide by some rules and even though he was angry and annoyed he put up with it as best as he could but when he met Bri things got a lot better. Nando and Bri have become best friend's over the year's and they are also roommates and they are as close as any two people can be but even they feel a strong spark between them there friendship is the most important thing in the world to them but when one disaster after another happens and life gets in the way things get even more complicated but where will that leave them especially as they both have more baggage at times than they can cope with but there connection is something that is so special but will they be able to calm each other down and see reason without breaking there friendship apart. This story made you feel so many emotions and they have both gone through so much in there lives that your heart breaks for them especially as they can't seem to see what is in front of them but will they be able to work together and sort everything out and come out the other side stronger and get the ending that they both deserve. I absolutely loved this book even though at times I was in tears but still had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and how it would all end and it was so addictive I couldn't put it down. The characters and storyline pulled you in and kept your attention throughout and had you on the edge of your seat. Claudia Burgoa is an amazing author and writer and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back time and time again to read her book's and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Such a slow burn. These two meet when they’re 18/19 and their friendship spans across the decades. We all know they’re it for each other, but they have a hard time catching on. They’re too afraid to lose the friendship that neither can live without, so they put any feels on the back burner and refuse to discuss it with the other. Fast forward, a family situation arises and puts them on opposite sides of the country and too many things going on that needs their attention and they seem to be drifting apart. Enter the fixer… everyone else knows these two are it, and now is the time to pull them back together and get them in the same zip code so they can work their ish out.
As much as I liked the story, I wasn’t sure if it was a slow burn because it spanned over the years, or if it felt rushed because of all the skipped time." ~~Shirley

I'm not sure what happened here but I didn't fell into this story like I usually do when I read this author. It started out great but then years passed and neither of them made a move, so I was feeling skeptical about them ending up together. Nando has carried a huge secret most of his life that has dominated his relationship with his family.

Brianna is a poster child for abandonment issues. She never had much love in her life so when she met Nando and his family, she refused to mess up the good thing. They share a moment but both are afraid to act more on it. And here's where my problem begins. The duration between them having a moment to realize they're meant to be, was a bit too long for my liking. But I think my biggest issue is that every time he needed her, she would leave everything and show up. I think he took her for granted until it was almost too late and he felt her slipping through his fingers.

Overall it was an OK read and I'm coming back to this series for sure but I wanted more for them. What that more was I'm not sure but yeah...3.5* this time around!

Nando is a love guru, but doesn't actually put himself out there for a relationship himself which I found super ironic. He's been best friends with Brianna for a long time, and there's no doubt they are perfect for each other, but neither are willing to cross the friendship line which drove me crazy like you wouldn't believe. Nando has asked her help in Luna Harbor with his family, and she dropped everything to be there for him (she did this all the time), but she had her own request which made not crossing the friendship line even more difficult but that's all I'll say about that. I'm a HUGE fan of this author who never fails to destroy my heart with her stories, but I have to say, this is next level SLOW burn which was an issue for me. Please understand this is a personal preference as I'm super impatient in real life & while I can handle slow burn, this was too much for all my impatience so I just didn't feel connected to these two after a bit, but again, that's just me. Anyway, I loved being back in Luna Harbor which is my vacation home so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

ARC!!

Another Claudia <3 Now her books are super short and cute, this are the type of books you need to just pass time, read and enjoy without your heart feeling pain or heartache. don't get me wrong, you'll get the drama and hardship, but just like Claudia writes them I don't even know, but they don't hurt and I live for that.
This book follows Nando and Brianna. They have been friends since they met, which was when they were both in college. Bri is going to her degree so she can inherit her families business, and Nando is just trying to get his foot in the world.
Nando comes from a big family, and goes back home when they are both adults, to help them work on their small town as they are the owners of such.
He become a self proclaimed love guru, but super hiper mega exclusive. He avoids relationships as he thinks he just doesnt need them nor believe are for him. Except, when he notices that Bri is literally branching out.
The book follows their relationship (as friends) throughout lot of years, and it become a FREAKING SLOW BURN WHICH ALMOST KILLED BTW... but i was here for it. Their relationship was strong and true at the end, which I can appreciate.

Both characters are flawed, and neeeeed to work their communciations skills but they are really good. My heart fell for Nando since the beginning, his heart is really open and sweet, he compliments Bri's personality so well, and he's literally the baby of the family therefore, he's the one who most looked out for. He's really wholesome and cute! <3

Always You is a friends to lovers romance. This will eventually end up in Luna Harbor but Fernando (Nando) and Brianna's (Bri) story starts back in New York when they met back in college. Both have lost a parent either to death or divorce so their view on falling in love with someone is skeptical at best. Over the years they became best friends telling each other everything except for their true feelings. Bri doesn't want to lose Nando and he is too blind to see his feelings.

With a push from Lang to get these two together in Luna Harbor and an awakening by Nando's family he finds is true feelings. Once these two get together it is amazing. This is a wonderful story showing a man and a woman being the best of friends since college and sharing all of their ups and downs. I really loved their story and it was so heartfelt. I can't wait for many more adventures from this gang!

Brianna met Nando when they were in college and even though they were attracted to each other they valued their friendship more. He has always been her biggest supporter so when a family situation has him needing her support there is no place she would rather be.

When it comes to love and relationships Nando always has advice for everyone else but doesn’t believe it will be part of his future. When Brianna comes to him looking for romantic advice it forces him to reconsider their relationship and what she truly means to him.

This is a heartwarming story about love and family. Brianna and Nando share a deep connection and I enjoyed seeing them expand the parameters of their relationship and see how much deeper their relationship could be if they were willing to consider the possibility.

I’ve been reading the author's books for a few years now and I always look forward to reading a new release. This one sounded great and I enjoyed it a lot.

I don't think I’ve read many books where the characters can connect instantly from the beginning and this one was just so good and interesting to see how that will develop into the happily ever after.

The connection and chemistry is bursting out of the pages and their interactions are so well done that made me want to be there with them in this fictional world because I want to have real life friends like that.

They grow together; they don't shy away from their feelings and when the time to make a big decision comes, they surely leave nothing back.

Friends to lovers trope readers will enjoy this book immensely.

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and this is Nando and Bri’s journey. These two have been best friends for years and are always there for each other. When Nando asks Bri to come to Luna Harbor, she does not hesitate. Bri feels more than friendship towards Nando but does not want to ruin their friendship by telling him. Can these two move on from friends / lovers? This is a well written slow burn, small town romance, with secrets, angst, family, friendships, witty banter, humor, tension, twists, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and heartfelt page turner.

Always You by Claudia Burgoa gives us the story of another member of the Cantu family. Nando's story takes it's time taking us back to Luna Harbor.

If you enjoy best friends-to-lovers romances, you will love Nando and Bri's story. While they are both in full denial of their feelings, I am pretty sure it was love at first sight for both of them. They have such great chemistry. I truly loved their banter.

This story is heart warming. Once again it shows how important communication is to any and all relationships.

Always You is. Sweet slow burn friends to lovers story. Fernando (aka Nando) Cantù and Brianna Connolly meet her freshman year at NYU. They quickly become the best of friends. Their friendship spans over several years never moving into a ‘more than friends’ category. Nando doesn’t believe in love, although he gives relationship advice for a living. Brianna just can’t find the one. After his family and friends bring them together Nando slowly realizes she is worth risking his heart for. This book was a quick read that I enjoyed. I am looking forward to reading the next Luna Harbor book.

Having read Perfectly You I couldn’t wait to get back into this world! As soon as this third installment was announced and with every teaser, i started looking forward to it instantly! It always brings a smile to my face whenever i get to pick up another one of Ms.Burgoa’s books. I started reading this one as soon as i could and got right back into the Luna Harbor world. I enjoyed this story so much!

Fernando (Nando) and (Bri) Brianna’s journey captured my attention and pulled me in quickly! Nando and Bri have been best friends for quite some time. Nando asks her for help with his family and Bri needs his as well dating wise. Will they take a chance on their feelings? or is it not worth ruining their friendship?

I was so glad to get into both Nando and Bri’s minds. I so enjoyed their friendship and the chemistry between them! 😍 I loved how these two had me feeling many things with them throughout reading. I really liked getting to see how they would tackle things between them and in their lives. I didn’t know how everything was going to play out and that had me into their story even more!

It was so much fun getting back into the Luna Harbor world! I enjoyed what the other characters brought to the story as well!

With Always You, Ms.Burgoa has created such a good read that brought the feels! The stories that she creates are always so easy for my heart and i to get into! I can’t wait for more from her! I am so looking forward to getting back into the Luna Harbor world with the fourth installment, Truly You!

Loved being back in Luna Harbor, and sigh, Nando will steal your heart! 5 stars for this one!
This is a sweet friends, slow burn to lovers story between Nando and Brianna. They become besties when he's put in charge of showing her around the city when she moves there. They are both attracted to each other, but afraid to lose that bond they have. A lot of years pass, a lot of moves, loss, and yet they are always there when the other needs them.
When she is forced to come to Luna Harbor to help out, things begin to change for them, all in a good way! Their slow burn begins to take over and their feelings for each other overtake any trepidation they may have!
This is one you don't want to miss out on, Luna Harbor is the place that brings everyone together! Make sure you grab this one asap!

Simply beautiful!! I loved reading this emotionally beautiful book by Claudia which takes us back to Luna Harbor. This book is Fernando and Brianna’s story, best friends but with so much more within reach but they have past emotional hurdles to overcome. Once again Claudia has delivered a beautiful story and this series is just so delightful. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.
