This was okay but it lacked romance for me. The storyline of the forbidden romance with Hannah and Brad didn't mix well with her cancer storyline in my opinion. It was like there was a clear divide between the two and neither got enough attention to really captivate me.

I changed this from 5 to 3 stars cause honestly, this one kinda sucks compared to the original one, the copy & pasted parts are not even smoothed out to blend properly, changing some of the characters to be such scummy people, I’m disappointed… I’d love to see (if it exists) the original continuation of the their story!!!

I loved the original book of Hanna & Brad had to give the newer/updated/re-storied book a whirl since the original was ended on a cliffhanger and when Brad walks in on Hannah talking to her Doctor about having Cancer (which he didn’t know) and the book wasn’t ever given a proper sequel… hence this book…

Although, it’s been nice to have the completed story of Brad & Hanna and to see how/if her family adapts to their relationship while their family deals with another Cancer diagnosis on yet another family member💔💔🥺🥀🥀
99% of Layla is removed in this version, which is too bad cause she was a great character, then she’s mentioned 2 or 3 times outta the blue??!?
Was a little sad that they turned ‘Tatz’ into a roofie rapist (also not in the original books from what I remember 🤔🫤❓)
Question: did they DO anything about Cameron & Andrea (Brad’s ex) lies about who the baby-daddy was just to steal $$$$ from Brad….like wouldn’t that be grounds for a beatdown and kicking out of the MC club or worse????????

I’ve been looking for YEARS to get both in paper book forms, but no luck, so I finally (sadly) purchased in Kindle format (I would have preferred iBooks-but not available)

More errors

Good thing the story line is good because the errors are once again awful. Girl, get a good editor, he'll even just a proof reader.

Painfully boring, repetitive, juvenile, amateur and just simply absolute rubbish. I honestly have never read such a shockingly badly written book. Ever! This person, I refuse to call her an author, wrote cringingly juvenile characters, dialogue and story. They are terrible. It is shockingly bad.

I really tried getting through this because she has international bestselling author on her covers and Im stunned and horrified someone who writes this badly, this unprofessionally and this childishly has that title. Honestly it makes me question what the heck is going on here.

Every single page here is also just the same thing over and over, with the character's thought repeating constantly and dragging every scene out a stupid amount. They tell each other directly how they feel them seem to stupidly forget the other has declared their love multiple times already, just so Ms Elise can drag this juvenile, childish rubbish out even more than ot already is.

And it's not just the heroine and heo's thought, it's the brother's thoughts too, dragging, repeating, and juvenile. It's an embaressment. Not only are the story and characters, their thoughts and dialogue all crongingly juvenile to read, every page riddled with the most basic of punctuation, grammar, tense and word choice problems.

I would expect a highschool student to have a better ability and education level in writing than this so called author. Here's the blurb copied and pasted from the author's Amazon page for another of her books Cage's Fall, so it's not just that this one slipped through the net, the grammatical errors and punctuation problems are an embaressment in it alone.

"Autumn stepdad bought her up around the Motorcycle Club lifestyle of the Vulture’s MC".

Seriously? This is a supposed international best selling author who doesn't know the basics of writing and spelling, that it should be "Autumn's stepdad" with an apostrophe s and "brought her up", because clearly the author mens to say he raised her, not bought and paid for her. Next sentence-

"When Autumn loses everything, she turns to the one person".

One person who what? That's not a complete sentence, it shouldn't just end like that. Next sentence -

"Who doesn’t just wear a club patch but believes any rules, not even brotherhood ones".

Ah... what? That line makes no sense. I think the author is attempting to say that he doesn't believe in any rules, so she should have put the words "doesn't" between "but" and "believes" to actually say that. However, if she's trying to say that he does believe in rules then the entire sentence still needs rewording. It's disgraceful how bad this writing is in a published book.

She has published a hundred books apparently, and I was so shocked at how badky witten and juvenile this was that I checked out the list of her books here on GR and the majority of her books, about sixty to seventy books, don't even have a single review/rating on, seeming to show she has no readers even trying the majority of her books, probably because after reading just one iand finding how truly bad they are, readers don't bother to try another.

And the majority of her books that actually do have ratings, they have only one and two readers rating them. Again seeming to show that aoart from a handful.of her books, she's not getting or keeping readers because her writing is so bad. So I honestly have absolutely no.idea how she has the title bestselling and international bestselling author.

This so called bestselling author is a prime example of the biggest problem with Amazon and Amazon's lack of any quality control in publishing, because this is proof that anyone can publish absolute sh*t on Amazon that is painfully and cringingly childish, repetitive and basic, and Amazon will still shockingly not only publish their books but also give the. the acclaim of bestselling author. It is an absolute disgrace and embarrassment.

Ok this book is about the second generation of Reaper and Abby. Reaper is the president of the whole charter of Satan’s Sons not just one charter but all of the country wide. Him and Abby have three kids Tyson and the twins Eva and Hannah. But they do get together but she hasn’t told anyone she sick. She still pushing ever.gone away trying to spear there feeling. Until thing go bad then the truth has to come out. So enjoy the story and see all the trouble that comes out and if Hannah is ok!!

Hannah and Brad’s story was a quick and likeable read. The characters were interesting to read about, and their romance was enjoyable, even with the emotional storyline that dominates this book. My rating is because whilst I liked the book it felt lacking in plot development. The book was over very quickly and there were scenes which were worthy of further exploration. Overall, I did enjoy it and may read more from this world of characters if I’m after a quick read.

Favourite Quote:
“Just let me prove to you that I can be everything you want. That I’m worth your love. . . . Let me pretend for one night that you are mine and mine forever. Like you’ve already agreed to be mine. As if I’ve already convinced you.”

I…. Wow. I cannot believe I sat through this. My partner said I’d regret it, and boy did I. Now I won’t spoil it, but I won’t recommend it either.

The plot - right so um… its an MC romance kinda? I think? Supposed to be a forbidden romance kinda vibe, with another romance plot of enemies to lovers.

The rundown - Imma be honest. I thought Layla was the main character? Then it’s all about Hannah? And Tyson? And fuckin BRAD?? I’m so confused. I hated every single one of the characters, the plot and timeline didn’t fuckin make sense, and the fact that my copy of the book ended on a sudden cliffhanger? FUCK OFF. Even if my copy is just poor, and this book is a HEA, it was too long to read as is, let alone adding another 30% for the resolution and happy ending. No thank you very much.

I tried to enjoy this book

Spoiler alerts below:
I tried to enjoy this book. It didn’t hit a steamy factor at all for me. It lacked an MC feel or brotherhood aspect too. The club is mentioned, that about it. But what really turned me away from the book was the part where her father hit his daughter so hard he fractured her jaw from a slap. She never received medical attention. A few days later they were speaking again. Sigh. To me the book had potential BUT seemed to center around cancer from start to finish. Cancer was mentioned in the description but I didn’t realize that was the main plot.

Sorry, I'm giving this 4 stars, but only because of my emotions when reading it. I've recently lost someone to cancer, so the whole big C topic is still an open wound right now. And yes, I read the triggers and saw this book on tiktok, so I knew what I was getting myself into when I started it. Apart from that it's really good!! I enjoyed reading it.
Also, if someone else is a bit unsure about reading this or not because of the topic, there is a HEA!! She does survive. But also have some tissue ready just in case.

Emotional roller coaster!!

This is the first book in a new series about the second generation, and this is Reaper and Abby's daughter Hannah and Brad's journey. This is a beautifully written emotionally charged story which is heartwrenching and with family, intrigue, witty banter, humour, twists, and love which all leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

The entire plot is a lack of communication

The writing style was good enough and the book was short enough that I finished it. But the entire plot was people keeping secrets, not correcting what other people said that was untrue, or making weird assumptions. All relationships were developed before the book started so it was just a mess of people that you are told care about each other acting unhinged.

The premise of this book really caught my eye and it ended up being the only thing I really liked about it. I don’t consider myself super nit-picky about grammar and writing style, I tend to enjoy a variety of styles but this was just not good. It felt like a draft, there were spelling errors, grammar errors, and overall the writing just didn’t feel very developed and it took away from the story.

Good Intro To The Second Generation

All in all a good start to this series, whilst the focus of this book was Hannah and Brad there was lots of world building with other characters. There were a lot of thread’s linking the other characters stories so I’m am keen to see how these play out. It did cover some quite difficult topics so please be aware of your triggers. All in all I enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read more from this author.

Could have been a good story

I tried to finish but only got to 72%. I tried to overlook the use of past and present tense within the same sentence, tried to get over the contradictions a character would make from one paragraph to the next. It proved to be too much. I thought I could finish it since it was a short read and it just didn't happen. I really tried to like it enough to finish and just couldn't.

I thought this was a really good follow up to the Sons of Satan - it seems that initially there was a different version of this book where Tyson and Layla's story was also included with Hannah and Brad, I think the author must have split out Tyson's story intending to tell it separately as a book 2 of the second generation but unfortunately Galatea owns the rights to the series and won't be publishing any more.

Tear jerker

I read this book knowing it might trigger me, but I found that I had to finish the story and cried the whole way through. I'm going to walk the dog with puffy eyes as I finished it in one sitting. 3 stars because I would have liked to see a prologue after her reconstruction surgery as I thought it ended a bit abruptly.

I love these books in this series! This book was everything I’ve been waiting to finish reading about. Reaper & Abby’s story was the best to read and now to Finish up Hannah & Brad’s story was the best.

Love

Hannah is Reaper and Abby daughter. Not yet 18 but is told she has cancer. Keeping it all from her family, especially Brad her dad's GO and best friend the man she madly loves.

Touching story and yes you have to read to find out the ending

Wow

Very well written. Will there be a part 2.
It was a tear jerker at the beginning keeping the family from knowing about the cancer but in the end they came together and supported her.

Great read/ poor formatting.

I really like this book. I read it all in one go. It does need a proper formatting. Some of the chapters start in the middle of a page. One towards the back says chapter Brad in the middle. And it seems ti be paperback formatted instead of Kindle.

Riddled with errors

The story is OK but the writing is riddled with errors- spelling, tenses, punctuation, ect. To the point where I had a difficult time focusing on the storyline. I didn't understand what was going on a couple times.
