Only an Earl Will Do Bk 1 - 3.5*
A villain intervenes between Henry and Elizabeth. Both sides are hurt and confused but with no other alternative Elizabeth marries another. Three years later Henry is back in England and Elizabeth is a widow. When Elizabeth realises that they were duped she knows that Henry will never forgive her for the path that she took. Henry, not knowing the full truth pursues her, but so does the villain. Can the two of them have a second chance? I did find this book rather overlong, with a number of editing issues.
Only a Duke Will Do Bk 2 - 4*
Cheated of their HEA by a conniving, scheming woman both Isolde and Merrick are forced into futures that looked very different to their plans. Five years later Isolde knows if she wishes for children she must make a marriage of convenience and hopes that Merrick and her former friend will not be in London for the Season. Of course that is not the case and angst ensues on both sides…
Did feel as a Duke, Merrick could have found a way not to marry Leonora or that having done so, he could have had her confined to a remote estate where she would have been unable to make his life a living hell but he was obviously too noble and honourable to do this and it wouldn’t have made much of a story!
Only a Viscount Will Do Bk 3 - 4*
Blackmailed into crime, the newly minted Viscount, Lord Arndel can do nothing until his cousin’s debts are settled to restore his newly inherited estate. His very last job falls too close to home and yet he places himself in close proximity to his victims and then has lunch with them the following day. This foolishness didn’t endear Callum to me but I did enjoy the characters of Alice and her sister Victoria. I enjoyed most of the book, though I cannot believe that Alice, a Duke’s daughter, would have allowed an acknowledged thief the liberties that she did. The ending had some editing issues: wrong names, persons suddenly knowing things that had never been told to them and I would have thought there was a neater solution to Sir Liam than leaving him at large to cause further trouble.

Lady Victoria didn’t marry for love but her faith in her character judgement was shaken when her husband betrayed her and made her the subject of ton gossip six weeks into her marriage. Now a widow she is determined to travel and enjoy her freedom without shackles. Can Albert Kester, Marquess Melvin who has been in love with her for years change her mind. Enjoyable but a shame about the historical inaccuracies and typos.

When the Duke of Penworth views the young lady his mother is sponsoring for the Season he is overcome with guilt for the part he played in her accident seven years previously. He is determined that she will make a good match and to that end spends a lot of time in her company and finding fault with any prospective suitors. Their road to happiness turns out to be bumpy but a grand gesture saves the day and I adored the epilogue.

A Wonderful, Entertaining & Romantic Book
I truly enjoyed reading this book.
Elizabeth & Henry had thought they would marry when he returned to England. But to Elizabeth's dismay, she finds herself in a predicament that has her in a marriage with another man.
3 years pass & Henry returns to find out she didn't wait for him.
After finding out she is widowed he tries to win her back. The villains character was evil & put Henry & Elizabeth on a wild journey to try & thwart him.

I really enjoyed this Book. 2nd chance love, Isolde & Merrick went through hell.
It amazed me how back then people couldn't get divorced after someone tricks them.
After everything Leonora put them through.

I did enjoy the book, but I didn't care for the h. She is selfish & cold hearted. I understand her 1st husband humiliated her by leaving her for 1 of her Maid's after 6 weeks of marriage.
But to deny a wonderful man as Albert children was just unacceptable.

The Story was ok. The only parts I was frustrated with were,
Josh constantly thinking "She/Irish was driving him to distraction." Or every time Josh says something, Irish is thinking "Heat pooled between her legs".
Other than that, the Story flowed Wonderfully.

Entertaining romance, I enjoyed the journey for Elizabeth and Henry to reach their happiness.

I enjoyed this complex and emotional story. A journey of heartache for Merrick and Isolde, torn apart by deceit but five years later a second chance at love is possible. A well deserving happy ending.

A wonderful and engaging romance, I loved Alice and Callum who are both intelligent and interesting characters. Absolutely great together, loved their journey and passion, a deserving happily ever after.

A truly enjoyable regency romance. A game of seduction and tutoring turns into true love in disguise. Victoria and Albert were quite mad for each other. I enjoyed their interactions and such steamy scenes I thought I should look away. Oh well done!

Captivating, charming, delightful and passionate. Everything you would want in a regency romance. The story and characters are well crafted, all wrapped up into a wonderful and joyous happily ever after. Josh and Iris jumped off the page and made this romance enjoyable in every way.

I loved reading To Marry A Roue Books 1-5 together. The Worthingham Family 4 Sisters and one brother Josh (Duke of Penworth) were a great family. There was lots of family love and devotion to each other. They battled ups and downs and withstood trials always together. Tamara Gill is an outstanding Regency Author.
