I love this book! Especially page 21 when Casey Treat states “Strongholds are those thoughts and attitudes, that have such a grip on your mind, that even though you don’t want to think that way, you do anyway. You feel like your mind is controlling you, and you can’t stop thinking in a certain way.” I love his perspective throughout the book. I love the Renewing the mind key #1-29. I agree with Treat, on mind key #5 when Treat states “ renewing the mind is a lifestyle, not an experience.”

I read this book many years ago, and decided to reread it. It is an excellent book showing people how they can bring their thoughts into alignment with God's Word. Meditating on His Word to change our mentality and behaviors. Developing new habits to replace the old. All of that happens in the thought life. We may not be able to keep a thought from coming into our head, but we can choose not to entertain it. The book highlights that negativity becomes less with more quality time daily with our heavenly Father
