Whether you write poems or journal your thoughts, the pages of the Creative Writing Journal beg for you to create hope within the margins. Or perhaps outside the margins where writer’s can doodle and scribble their ideas to create a springboard of ideas for the next project. Part journal prompts and part poetry, creative writing prompts inspired by poetry set this journal apart by featuring several poetry forms and an example of each followed by 4-6 questions and journal prompts. While this is not meant to be academic, there are resources and links to fuel the student within.

I love the creative ideas and the way this little journal prompts me to think more creatively. The poetry inspires and the journal prompts challenge. My fellow contributors did a wonderful job.
This journal's design is to engage the reader in the process of writing poems in an inspiring way. Included are poems as examples and inspiration, questions to stimulate writing your own poetry, links to additional resources, all wrapped up with delightful graphics and artwork. This journal invites you to get out the colored pencils and create! This would make a great Christmas or Birthday gift.
The whole series is fun, as well as practical, and are great gifts. You might need multiple copies, though, so you can keep one of each for yourself!
The collaboration with other writers to publish their poetry and ideas proved a marvelous adventure! It was a privilege to work with Loretta Gjeltema, Aleisha Cate, Rachael M Colby, Terha Knittel, Linda Heath, Tammy Kennington, and Delta Jane Holte.
what an enjoyable way to get the creative juices flowing and/or a way to involve others in the creative process! would also recommend this as a gift idea for someone wanting to dip their feet into creative writing
