A cute little story about Wolf coming home and meeting his year long pen-pal Miley. It's pretty straightforward from there, no real dark spot. Just a sweet tale for Christmas.

Absolutely love this one! Wonderful, short, quick and easy read.
Callum meet Miley a year after they have been writing back and forth. Callum stationed overseas with the army. Not sure he can make it home he surprises her at her workplace. Her boss gives her the rest of the day off after meeting Callum for the first time. They emailed back and forth and video chatted when ever possible. They head back to her apartment and she tells him he can have the guest bedroom or share her bed. He asks her what she wants him to do and she tells him she wants him to stay with her. She leads him to her bedroom where she has clothes all over, she woke up late for work. He pulls her into him and tells her he wants to take things slow. She tells him he’s not rushing her into anything, she’s been waiting for him for almost a year. She asks him to make love to her and he tells her with pleasure. He takes off her shirt then her skirt, she unbuttons his pants and he lifts his shirt over his head. He kisses her as he lays her on the bed. He asks her if she is sure and she tells him yes. He tells her he’s going to be gentle but she tells him he doesn’t have to be she won’t break. He eases into her a little bit at a time, she thrust up into him burying him deep inside her. He pushes into her over and over again. He tells her to let go, then flips them over, her legs straddling his waist and tells her she’s in charge. He tells her she is amazing, like she was made for him and she tells him she was. He tells her he loves her and know it’s seem to too but it’s true. She tells him she loves him too. He tells her he’s imagined this moment many times. Over the next three days they stay in her apartment spending the moments together in bed. The third day Callum tells her they need to get out of bed and he wants to learn more about her and experience the holiday with her, he needs to head to Broken Bend and visit Mama Mae and the rest of his foster family. She gets a call from her mom and she needs to head to a holiday dinner party tonight her dad’s firm is hosting. She asks him if he has something dressy to wear, he tells her he has his dress uniform. They pull up to the hotel a valet opening their doors, they link arms, walk through the doors, to the banquet area. A man walks up to Miley, it’s her father. She tells her father she wants him to meet someone and introduces Callum. Her father dismisses him but Miley tells him he’s her date. Her father wants her to date someone from his firm but she tells him she’s in love with Callum. He tells her father that Miley should get a say in who she lets into her heart. She is one of the mostly, giving, selfless people he’s ever met. He tells her father he loves her and he has his word his daughter will never want anything . She tells her father Callum’s a good man. Miley finds out Callum put in for a transfer to the National Guard in Texas. Her dad tells them to enjoy themselves tonight, but not too much. Callum gives her a small jewelry box and tells her to open it. Inside is a pearl bracelet. He tells her it belong to his grandmother his grandfather give it to her on their wedding day. She tells him she can’t take it but he tell her she has to when his grandmother gave it to him she told him to give it to the woman he’ll spend the rest of his life with. She asks him if it means someday he’ll ask her and he tells her yes. They spend the holidays shuttling between her parents house and Broken Bend, he introduced her to Mama Mae and his foster brother who visited over Christmas. Miley is his plus one to his buddies wedding. His paperwork came through and he’s saying goodbye to the guys before he packs all his stuff and drives back to Texas. He thanks his lucky stars every night that fate brought them together. Her love chased the cold out of his heart and shown him he’s capable of loving. Miley is it for him, next he plans on giving her an engagement ring. He’ll spend the rest of his days proving to her why saying yes would be the best decision she’d ever made.

This story rings so true. Miley has been writing to a soldier for the past year of his deployment. Now he is ready to come home. She cares deeply for him because of the relationship they have formed during their correspondence. But she is nervous about two possibilities. How will he react to meeting her in person? Will she not measure up to what he expects her to be?
Callum is aware of how much Miley means to him. She has been the steady force in his life for the past year. She has literally kept him “sane” with her dependable contact and the discussions they share. Coming home, he will meet her face-to-face, but he is unsure whether their feelings will fade away when that time comes.
This was a very realistic scenario. How will each of them react when they are finally together? There is so much feeling involved and raw emotions. A great love story
I've enjoyed this series of stories because they are good love stories but also talk about my hometown area. Wolf had been developed overseas for twelve months and during that time he had been corresponding with Miley who lives in Texas. He took off to Texas to meet her face to face. They hit it off from "hello" and fell more in love as the days went by. Read how their family and friends reacted upon learning about their love story. It's a very good book, I enjoyed it a lot and hope you will too. Written by Cindy :)

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review.
This is a new-to-me author, but I enjoyed the instalove theme in this book. The couple have been communicating only thru email, but they have developed deep feelings for each other. When they finally meet in person, they realize that they truly love each other. There are a few problems when Callum meets her father, but he proves his determination to him, and he accepts their decisions. They end up with a beautiful HEA.
I recommend this book.

A sweet and steamy novella
This a sweet steamy novella with a side of year long pen pal. Miley works for a non-profit. A year ago she sent a package to a random soldier and his thank you note started their year long pen pal relationship. Callum is in the military returning after a year long deployment and he is more than ready to meet Miley. While short, the characters were fairly well developed and the storyline was engaging and evoked all the feels with very little angst. It was a fun sexy enjoyable read.

I loved this story!!! Callum and Miley had been pen pals for a year while he was serving overseas. They had fallen in love via letters, email and calls. Miley was nervous to meet Callum when he returned. He surprised her at work and it was truly magical. Beautiful short, instalove story with great chemistry and hot scenes!! They were true soulmates. It was wonderful to see one of Mama Mae’s boys get a beautiful HEA

This is sweet, steamy and very romantic, especially when he stood up to her father for her. The connection is close and strong and I loved the intimacy they shared.

Another One of Mama Mae’s Foster Sons Finds Love

This was a great military romance. Miley and Callum had been exchanging letters for a year, ever since she sent an anonymous soldier a care package. Now he’s stateside and wanting to see her in person. I loved how they had an established connection date predates the story, it made the story seem more plausible. Their chemistry was great and I loved how alpha Callum was. A great story.

Codename: Wolf is a friends to lovers holiday romance and it is part of the multi-author series Soldiers for Christmas. I've read several of the stories in this series and so far I am loving them and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Absolutely zero inner relationship drama - these 2 are rock solid from the beginning. Great storyline, characters that you will connect with instantly, seriously NSFW scenes and a HEA that will have you cheering. Great short read!!!!

Fast ~
I enjoyed reading this story. The build up of writing letters, and communicating for a year, getting to know someone, it’s no surprise that the physical aspect of love quickly followed. But what made it special was all of that learning and falling in love during that process before they even met. So glad they both had the chemistry to go with the love, setting the stage for a happily ever after

I absolutely love this story! Yes it was a short one but it was so beautiful. Wolf is a soldier. He is handsome, sweet,funny and a good man. He is so excited to meet his soulmate. Miley is the girl next door. She is sweet, curvy, pretty and nice. She is in for a surprise. Their journey is so sweet and I love every single word that flows throughout the story. This is a Soldier for Christmas love story for Callum and Miley. I loved how fast these two meet and fall head over heels from a letter. I loved that these two are a perfect fit for each other from the first time they meet in person.

I liked how Miley and Callum met, it would have been nice to have seen some of that, but I still enjoyed their story. I liked their connection and chemistry, how open and honest they were with each other and how certain Callum was about them. I really enjoyed seeing them together and getting their HEA.

I totally enjoyed this quick read, it was awesome the way they fell in love. Miley was so surprised by Callum, I loved it. The way he stood up for her when it counted made Callum an amazing man in my eyes. Loved how everything worked out perfectly and the prank was awesome.

The seventh book in the Soldiers for Christmas series, a well written story that held my interest until the end. Callum Wolfson and Miley Thomson have been emailing each other for a year while he was deployed, he is now coming home. I enjoyed seeing them get their happy ending. 2 1/2 stars. I wanted to love it but it felt weirdly disjointed. Her dad’s attitude turnaround was weird and a grown woman calling her father daddy makes me think of a spoiled socialite. It also felt like they didn’t really discuss their relationship at all before he showed up on her door. It was just eh.
