A whimsical and educational book perfect for children starting school.
ABC Animals is an adorable, fun, and educational book by debut children's author Tammy L. Anderson. Ms. Anderson has had a passion for writing since she was a little girl. Her joy of volunteering and watching children learn by discovery is showcased in her debut children's book as the pages are bright and colorful. The illustrations allow children to learn about the alphabet and animals. A child will be able to expand on their vocabulary while learning about various species of animals.
The book features lower and upper case letters, and each letter corresponds with an animal or bird. The pictures are beautifully illustrated, and they will definitely light up a child's face. I was surprised by the variations of animals and birds featured in the book and found a couple of animals and birds that were unfamiliar. This book would be the perfect addition to any child's book collection. This book creates a fun way for a child to learn about letters and animals. I could even see elementary school teachers using the book as a supplement in their lesson plans.
Tammy L. Anderson has thought outside the box and created a beautiful, engaging book for children to enjoy. I look forward to seeing what other fun and sweet books the author creates.

ABC Animals by T.L. Anderson is a simple brightly colored fun book for children ages 2-6 to learn not only their alphabet but about different animals.
The illustrations are eye catching with adorable animals with friendly expressions on their faces. It's hard not to smile when you see grinning dogs, dolphins, and deer.
The text is easy. It only features the letters and the names of animals so children can read and understand the words. The pages just say things like "H Horse Hamster Hippopotamus."
Anderson also chooses unusual animals to fit the letters, possibly to invite conversations between children and their parents. A child might wonder what an impala, an ibex, or a jerboa are and their parents could look it up or answer. The various animals could provide interactive conversation over the animals themselves.
