This was by far my favorite book of the trilogy! Lucas finally acts like a decent human being and Leda is back to being the strong, independent heroine I knew her to be. This book had a lot of action and suspense and was thrill ride for sure. It's been a roller-coaster for these characters, I've gone from hating them to loving them to thinking they were idiots back to loving them again! I don't think I've ever had that much of a reaction to characters before. It's no secret that I despised Lucas in the beginning but I was very pleasantly surprised to see he was determined to change, to be the man Leda needed. I still think he shouldn't be Don but oh well. I was happy to see Leda back to her old self here, in the second book she turned into a spineless doormat so I was so excited to see her get he backbone back and take control! Overall I really enjoyed the story. There were parts that got a little long winded and repetitive but the story was interesting and held my attention. It was an exciting and entertaining story that I would recommend if you love bully and/or Mafia romances as there are some dark parts.

Loved it!!!
This is book three in the Cavazzo Mafia series, please be sure to read books one and two before reading this book. For the best reading experience read the D'Agostino Mafia series before reading this series because this series follows that one and wraps up both of the series perfectly. Lucas and Leda's story is absolutely fantastic and I loved this series.

Hmmm
First of all I enjoyed the story and I really like the Arthur, but after reading it all I don't think it was necessary to put it into three books ,there was a lot of sex which of course I don't mind but it seemed like that was used as a filler and sometimes timelines just didn't make sense to me ,one example was when Lita supposedly got shot by her father but the next day when she wakes up in the hospital nothing was said about the shot only the wrist so that was a little confusing like I said I enjoyed it but I think it was too long. I read daily and this is one of the reasons I like standalones , because I don't like stories drug on with fluff parts in there just to make them longer.

Outstanding Dark Mafia Romance!!! Ruthless Angel by Brook Wilder ( Cavazzo Mafia book 3) is the conclusion in this series that is full of angst, suspense and violence with plenty of steamy moments throughout this story. The story now picks up with Leda who was in the hospital and is in the care of her brother Nico. When she learns she is pregnant all she can think of is finding Lucas and hoping he is still alive, her brother Nico keeps fighting her, but Leda will not be deterred as she makes a decision. Leda takes matters into her own hands defying her brother leaves his home in secret as she needs to find Lucas. On the run she knows that the only people who maybe able to help her find Lucas is the the Wongs who treat Lucas as a son. When she arrives and sees that Lucas is alive, Leda is elated as they embrace each other as they both feared the other has died. Will she tell him that she is pregnant as she fears he will return her to her brother? Now these two will explore all the passion and desire between as they talk about how much they have hurt each other and the mistakes they both have made. Lucas finally admits he can't live without her and will do all he can to protect her as their reunion is dark, steamy and very emotional as they declare their love for each other. Leda who is truly her father's daughter when she takes a stand to help Lucas and sets things in motion with the remaining families and capos when she tells them she knows what her father will do to them if they don't stand together and help Lucas take her father Carmine and Adrian down. The only problem is that when Lucas learns what she has done he is outraged, but when he learns why Leda put this plan in motion, he also learns he is going to be a father. Lucas sees that Leda is a smart determined woman who is more than a mafia princess as she stands her ground until she gets what she wants as she proves to all that she is truly her father's daughter. Now they will work together to end this chaos , but they will have a hard time, roles seem to be reversed, family members will be taken, and a close friend will be killed. Now both Lucas and Leda are faced to act alone placing them both in a deadly situation to save the people they love. Will Lucas and Leda come out unscathed? You will be on edge with a climatic ending that will leave you breathless. If you love dark mafia romance stories, than the Cavazzo Mafia series is a must read.

Heartless, Merciless, Ruthless? None of these adjectives describe the books in the trilogy. Guardian Angel better befits this book as Leda kills her father to save family. Book needed a proofreader due to many contradictions . Author seemed to forget what she had written previously. Timelines in pregnancy don't make sense. Pregnant, showing a bump and baby movement all in little over a month or two. Mafia men accept her without any ritual or initiation? First unguarded mafia dons I have read about. Just second in command and know they are under siege? Chapter 55 is pure hogwash. No criminal would be as stupid as Adrian. Page 296 Leda was shot in shin but 302 she tells Lucas she just has a broken wrist and nothing more. Meanwhile during same altercation Lucas is stabbed multiple times and laying on floor bleeding out unconscious but in hospital nothing vital was injured. But he was in ICU. Final book was a little better than others but take out boring, repetitive sex , memories and dreams plus other repetitive statements and you might have one book. Still not dark mafia suspense.

This is the third book in the Cavazzo Mafia series and it is not a standalone. I will also caution those with triggers to proceed with care. It looks like Leda got her groove back and has become the woman she was when we first met her. She is fierce, independent and capable of overcoming anything that comes her way. Lucas seems to have a slight change of heart as he stepped up to be who Leda needed. The two together sizzle as the drama unfolds to its conclusion. Overall, this is one fast paced, page turning read that will ensnare you from the beginning and grip you tightly until the final word. I recommend this book and the rest of the series.

I've really enjoyed this trilogy and Nico and Rory's beforehand. A suspenseful conclusion to this series, with both our MCs getting their major back. Strong depiction of Leda who really heads the pack here and at last some positive reactions from Lucas. Engaging plot with the expected violence and not everyone gets out blemish free.

The city is a war zone because the Mafias are at war. No one is safe., the Police aren’t much help because they have been cut due to the defunding. There’s shootings, killings,kidnappings, a whole lot of action, this is one amazing book. I voluntarily reviewed a free advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.

What a great finale to this series. So much drama in this final book, I hated to see it end. I loved Leda and Lucas, their story took you on such a roller coaster of emotions.

Great story. I’m not a fan of sex without a purpose which meant I skimmed large chunks of this as there was just too much for my liking. I was more interested in the story which was great. Loved the twists and turns that were thrown in. Apart from too much sex and enjoyable read.
