A fellow video production teacher recommended this book recently. I was searching for something I could use to provide more relevant reading for my students. My colleague recommended it based on the straightforward advice that author Bobby Crosby gives through his authoritative voice as a successful YouTube content creator.

My colleague was correct. The book is quick and simple, and the straightforward advice is perfect for emerging content creators who might want to build an audience for their work. The premise, about wasting time, takes many different angles, yet it is covered so thoroughly in a 111-page book.

Straight to the point

Nice, easy read packed with a ton of useful information. I’m a broke father of 3 young YouTube obsessed boys and looking to become a successful YouTuber. This short book helped me to put things into perspective. Highly recommend!

Goog introduction to YouTube and does give one or two core competencies, but on the whole pretty basic stuff. For beginners only.
