The second she walked into my gym I knew she was trouble. I've been knocked on my a** a few times, but never by a woman. And never without so much as a touch.
She's too young and too stubborn. So why can't I get her out of my head?
Holly
He's a big, grumpy former boxer who's used to taking charge. I learned young that counting on others leads to nothing but disappointment.
He's too intense and too over-protective. So why do I feel so drawn to him?
Sparks fly as Dev and Holly battle to see eye-to-eye and get to their happily ever after, with a little help along the way from a nosy little brother, a kitten with an attitude, and a dog named Butter.
Count on Me is a steamy alpha male, age gap contemporary romance. It is book 3 in Kristyn DeMaster's Brothers Pub series. Although characters from other books in the series appear in Count on Me, it can be read as a stand-alone.
Due to strong language and sexual content, Count on Me is recommended for readers age 18+.
Kristyn DeMaster is a contemporary romance author. She writes everyday heroes and heroines who are finding their way to once-in-a-lifetime love through all of life’s up and downs. She’s a true believer in happily-ever-after and is living hers with her very own romance hero and their fur babies in the American Midwest.
When David saw Holly for the first time he was blown away by her beauty. He was much older than her and she had a boyfriend so he kept his distance. But the moment he learned that she was single again he didn't waste any time in asking her out. Holly, feeling the same attraction, accepted and so begin what Dev thought may be his forever. But she wanted something else from a relationship, something he found difficult to accept - him not always being ready to lend a hand and be there for her. Will Holly learn that independence has different faces and that what you are loved by someone doing things for them and wanting to make their lives easier just comes naturally to some men? Is she ready for such a love? And can Dev learn to give her the space she sometimes need? This is a story of learning to trust your partner, and giving yourself permission to sometimes accept help from another. Well written book.

This is book three in The Brother's Pub Series and it is Dev and Holly's story. Omg I absolutely loved this book so much and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention right until the last page and I can't wait to read more books by Kristyn Demaster who is a new author to me. This book was so well written and definitely worth reading and the chemistry between Dev and Holly was so hot that you could feel it sizzling of the pages of this book and there connection was so strong that you found yourself hoping that they get the happy ending that they both deserve. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the first book written by Kristyn that I have read. It is the third in the Brothers Pub series and is about Dev and Holly. These two have several differences but find a way to make their feelings work in the end. They have tension, humor, surprises, family and attraction all to deal with. I was torn with both the story and the characters. It was a good book but I had a hard time staying connected thru to the end. 3.5

This is the first book I've read by this author and would read another, but this one was difficult to like the ending. I liked Dev and the story line with the missing dogs. The book flowed well enough that it kept my interest. However, by the end of the book, I really didn't like Holly. Being in a relationship means communication and she acted like a hurt child that didn't know how to correct her mistake. It was a good book up until then, but her character leading to the HEA was a let down.
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created. The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind.
