But his mission is endangered when he discovers Ava is his fated mate. Now he’ll have to protect her from a biker gang, a crime lord, and the Navy SEALs—all while trying to protect his heart. A dragon can only resist for so long until he has no choice than to claim his mate!

Ava normally watches a monitor all night but it takes a turn for the best after she sees a meteor enter the Earth's atmosphere. However, when she goes out to inspect the crater all she finds is a strange and confused man. after being abruptly awoken from cryo-sleep, alien warrior Krom discovers that the ship has been damaged and he has to do a spacewalk to try to fix the thrusters. However, it gets much worse when he crash lands on Earth. The Earth woman he meets says she is a scientist which sounds great - he desperately needs her help to find one of Earth's rare and dangerous substances so he can fix the ship and his crew can travel home. That mission is endangered when he discovers that Ava is his fated mate and so now he finds he needs to protect her from a biker gang, a crime lord and even worse navy SEALS while also trying to protect his heart. A dragon can only resist for so long before he has to claim his mate.

I enjoyed this story where he seemed to have to fight anyone and everyone in order to protect Ava while also trying to stick to his mission. I enjoyed the various super skills that he had thanks to being a dragon plus an alien which certainly made his life much easier on Earth. I did find the section where he showed the spaceship to Ava a little strange as I can't imagine any captain accepting a human being brought onboard without permission let alone shown around without some kind of assurances in person first. It was easy to read and understand plus the story was easy to follow. Contains explicit sexual content.

As far as I'm concerned, you can never go wrong with dragons. I will start with telling you this is the second 'first in a new series' book I have read from this author. I also read them back to back. The main character in both were space dragons. But here is were the real talent comes in. There were absolutely no two things similar about the two. Each book was completely unique. Now let's talk about Krom and Ava. Krom was young (150 yrs old) for his species. While he is a warrior, he also has a gentle soul. When he literally crashes into Earth he is lost and confused. He got lucky running into Ava. Well actually, she ran 'over' him. The lucky part, Ava is a scientist that spends all of her time looking at the stars and dreaming of life out there. Meeting Krom and finding out where he comes from isn't that hard for her to believe. After she sees his ship. Ava agrees to help him find what he needs for repairs and that's when their adventure really begins. Loads of action, humor and a heated romance. This is all wrapped up with a HEA. At least for these two. Hopefully it won't be two long before another of these sexy aliens gets their own story. I received a free copy and this is my voluntary opinion.

Damon is a rich dragon shifter. Ava , a witch , despises the rich and can't stand dragon shifters ... and she wants revenge for her family's murders who she thinks dragons were responsible. When they meet at the bar they both feel the pull. Both fight it , each for their own reasons. The author takes them on an action packed adventure filled with anger and pain , anxiety and fear , suspense and danger as well as the fated mate romance. It's a well written shifter story with strong characters and an intriguing story line. I loved reading their story.

New author

This is a newer author to me. She has co-written a book with one of my favorite authors and I liked it so I thought I'd try one written by her alone. I have to say that I liked it. There are some points that weren't finished but it is book one so there will be more to come. I will be waiting excitingly until the next one appears.
I liked Krom, he was kind, gentle, sexy. He had his slow and obtuse moments but what guy doesn't.
Bring on more dragon spacemen!

have no complaints as to the written words but to the story, yes. I need to suspend my beliefs and logic to enjoy this story. I loved that they have their happy ending but as to how they arrived at it, it’s just not plausible. We got here a superalien trying to blend in and stay out of the radar but all their actions resulted to attracting more attention. Also, I don’t like his crew, if that is the right word. They don’t treat him with the respect that every being is entitled to

DNF: Oooook

I like a good paranormal romance as much as the next person, but I’m not buying the “porn without plot” nature of this story. Run over an alien. Check. He saves you from bikers. Cliché but ok. He finds you later. Ok. You let him take off your clothes. All in the first 68 pages. Whatever happened to character development? This just felt…ick.

A new series of dragon shifters. I feel the series has potential, but I found I got bored with details that I did not find overly helpful to the story. I enjoy this author, and hope that the extra verbage was just trying to set up the series.

Heading home to your planet is easy with cryogenic sleep ... until it isn't! Waking up to your spaceship in trouble definitely makes you feel out of control. Mix that with...you will need to read to find out the rest!

Okay Read

I really enjoyed this book. It was past laced but steamy and well developed. I thought the characters were well written and it made me want to not put the book down. I can’t wait for the next one in the series.
