In the mortal world, it is believed that there are six degrees of separation.
That number diminishes within The Society of Intellectual Beings.
The bloodlines are intertwined, blurring the degrees of separation.
Network Executive, Wade Tyson gets a story that is a little too close to home. His biological parents, who were convicted of multiple murders thirty years ago, die suspiciously within 24 hours of each other. Wade investigates their deaths which leads to questions surrounding the original crime. During the investigation, Wade opens the door to a multiple generational experiment to create a community of exceptionally intelligent humans. To complicate matters, these beings have been immersed in mainstream society.
What if a society of children were conceived to rule the world based on intellectual logic?
Wade discovers he is connected to the Society of Intellectual Beings in more ways than one. Through a series of journals from his now deceased mother, Wade has the experience of not only reading her words but absorbing her thoughts. Each time he reads one of her journals, certain powers are bestowed upon him. The powers come without instructions or warnings, but he needs them to complete the task of stopping evil forces from populating the world with S.I.B.s. He, with the help of his adopted brothers, is the only ones who can save the humans from themselves.

What If???
This book was everything that I thought it would be and a whole lot more. I'm definitely sitting here thinking what if...? Once again Iris Bolling has forced her readers to think outside of the proverbial box!!!

Rachel Fontaine is working on a story and needs her boss Wade Tyson's help. While investaging the story, Wade finds out things about his past. It also helps his brothers. The story has some unexpected twists and turns. It was a great story. Iris has done it again. I love this book and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Muddled and Murky Plot
This book was a disappointment. From the excessive grammatical errors to the cloudy storytelling, the novel offered little to hold my attention. I have read much better novels by this author.🙄

I am beginning this review with a disclaimer. If you have not read NEWS WITH CURVES, Ms Bolling’s 2018 Romantic Suspense story that introduced Rachel Fontaine and Wade Tyson (the hero and heroine of this story) along with their colorful families, then put S.I.B.s on the back burner and read NEWS WITH CURVES. After NEWS WITH CURVES, read THE AFTERMATH: A Nate Reigns Novel. I know it seems like a lot of reading, but it will tie all the enigmatic pieces of the storyline together. Then you will be ready for S.I.B.s.
The Society of Intellectual Beings, is a real thing. It is the evil legacy and wicked brainchild of the Chambers family who has steadily promoted and developed the society for three generations. Wade, and his adoptive brothers, Monty, Dane, Drake, and Ross are victims of an horrendous ideology that borders on ignorance and lunacy. I like this story because everything that the society sets up, develops, and manipulates will eventually bite the Chambers and the minions who do their bidding, in the butt. Most of the action occurs in a two week period in the town of Bristol, Virginia, a one-stop-sign hamlet that houses a general store, a bed and breakfast, and restaurant where an eclectic cast of side characters work and hang out
The HFN for Wade and Rachel is also accompanied by the discovery of a slew of bodies pulled from various rivers, and a phone call to who else, Nate Reigns from THE AFTERMATH. I’m going to leave that right there.
This story is epic with a lot of moving parts. It’s a modern day action-packed suspense and mystery with a pinch of romance. I highly recommend it. Ms Bolling gives her readers a lot to think about. For example, the segments of this story that mimic what is happening today in our society. I can’t wait to read the next book. Totally unexpected...in a good way!
We were first introduced to the Tyson brothers in News With Curves and in true Iris Bolling style, she came through with the unexpected twist! Who knew the special bond and powers these brothers possessed as a result of this serum!? This story has everything I look for in a page turner...complex characters, dialogue that made me laugh, and a storyline that totally intrigued me from the beginning. The whole concept behind The Society of Intellectual Beings was so intriguing. I cannot be the only one asking what if! I was a big fan of the TV series Alphas and Sense 8 so was all in when it came to beings created for a certain purpose and what happens if they don't "measure up". The story isn't overly sci-fi, there is just enough to have you believing that yes I can see someone coming up with this idea and spending years cultivating it.
I enjoyed getting to know Wade and his brothers on another level. A lot of their origin is explained in this book and it left me wanting more. I love how Iris connects her books. Those readers who have read both News With Curves, The Aftermath, and the Gems & Gents series will jump for joy at their favorite characters showing up to help the Tysons. And Rachel brings hilarity to every scene she is in. She is the perfect balance to Wade and his brothers.
Iris is a phenomenal, gifted storyteller. The way her imagination works and how she gives you a small dose of what's to come in later books is truly amazing. This book was a great start to this spin-off series. Enjoyable from beginning to end and I cannot wait for the next installment.

What the mind can conceive, the prepared can achieve!
Such was the case of the good doctors and their insane plan to create a society that they could control that had no emotions just logic! I thought that I had read this story prior and submitted a review however I did not find one here so I am submitting this one instead! The mind of Iris Bolling keeps me wondering every time I pick up one of her many books! To filter out just what the first SIB in the name of Bradford Chambers 111, we need the mind and skillset of The Administration headed up by none other than Sapphire aka Phire wife of Mayor LT and we need her super smart siblings to join forces with Wade, Monty, Drake, Dane, Ross and let us not forget the ever investigative Rachel! To say these young men waged a battle that older less prepared men would have succumbed to is an understatement. Just reading again the things these siblings went through to learn the truth of their beings and the death of Wade's Parents was intriguing, suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat throughout the read! I was looking at any moment for some of the Lassiter super achievers to show up as SA Morgan did! I do believe that Earthquake will be used to locate the tunnel used by Chambers 111 and will be most instrumental in bringing him and his evil sibs down! This was an excellent read that I am glad I got to read again!

Chocked Full of Goodness
Firstly, I suggest that you strap on a seatbelt and hold on tight.The story was a mystery, a suspense; it featured a mad scientist, family matters, a brotherhood, and a sweet love story. The story is cerebral with various humorous voices as well. Secondly, the tale has a lot of characters and moving parts you will need to pay close attention to, as the story unfolds at breakneck speed. The story is about children used for research who will alter a theory thought to be full proof. It is also about a journalist looking for answers to unexplained events in his town. Then there were the scientists and the unfathomable experiments. And finally, the story is about the brothers, their parents, and the beautiful minds in this fascinating story. I think you will enjoy this event.

Iris Bolling is a Beast when it comes to writing! I’m not sure why I was reluctant to read this book. I honestly think I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about reading a “Science Fiction story” Babee, let me tell you this book was so good. The more I read the more I thought dang this could really happen.
It was so good to run into Ms.Margie, Clem ,Bart ,Redbone and the others from the small town in Virginia
I won’t provide details because I’m afraid I’ll give to much away. If you enjoy a little Love ,suspense , intrigue and a little science fiction you’ll love this book. Not to mention if you e read the Heart series and the Gems and Gents you will definitely love this book

OMG....
Ms. Iris, you are a BEAST at storytelling. Your imagination is out of control,crazy good. I am so happy thar I ran across one of your books last year. I am a forever fan. I can't wait for Wade, his brother's, and the good SIB's to take down Bradford III. It makes you wonder if people like this really exist. To have this kind of control would result in annilation of the world we know. January 6th was a total wake-up call for people in America. The evil factions that are present need to be taken seriously. We need to keep our guard up and our heads on a swivel to counteract the evils of this world. This is a fantastic read.

When I first starting reading S.I.B.'s I knew I was missing something. I regrouped and reread News with Curves and The Aftermath. After rereading both, S.I.B.'s laid things out quite well. You first meet Rachel Fontaine in News as well as Wade Tyson and his colorful brothers. S.I.B.'s is definitely Wade and his brothers' stories. The book is full of intrigue and suspense all set in the background of an interesting small town. The nemesis in the story was written well too. Nate Reigns is part of this book as well. Make sure you have pen and paper, you're going to need it to keep track of all the players, good and bad, some undecided.

Suspense, drama, and a bushel and a peck of love! This book was absolutely amazing! The things that come out of Ms. Bolling's mind and flow onto pages (or the computer screen) are things of beauty! This series is not one to be overlooked. I encourage people to read "The News With Curves" and "Nate Reign" before reading this book, so you can really understand the basis of this story. Man, I am so excited about this series! Can't wait to see what happens next. Fantastic job! Oh, by the way is Earthquake Luke Lassister????

Matrix on steroids
Wade and his brothers have found keys to who they are and how they came to be. There is a sinister plot to take over the world. Their mission as they chosen to accept, is to insure the world will survive. Wade is the man and his brothers and Rachel are his team. Great story line and I look forward to reading more of this series. Ms Bolling has crafted a story that many I hope will enjoy. Curves will may many aware of some of the main characters. Loved this book.

Iris Bolling NEVER fails to grab you and hold you until the last page, but then leaves you anxiously waiting for the next book. I was hesitant to read this one at first because I am not really a science fiction fan, but because I trust Iris I was willing to try it and I am glad I did. Her writing flows and is easy to read and follow. A lot of authors are not that accomplished at writing like that, especially not in EVERY book she write. Thanks for a enjoyable ride and I know you are going to give us more in this series.

The mind of Iris Bollinger is a force to reckon with. This book was a fabulous read. Filled with intrigue and suspense. This book left me wondering what if....... a serum with the power of mind control a serum that was made for something good but used for something bad, how often is something like this really happening. I loved this book and enjoyed catching up with Clem, Bart, Suze Mare and the gang (from The Heart series). I was disappointed when it ended because I wanted to keep going. Can't wait to see how things connect.

How do you understand family and the importance of its power and strength? All questions this story makes one face. How important is intellect in our society, and what are we willing to do to maintain it?
Great read, gets those intellectual juices flowing!

Oh My Goodness
The concept of the book is very scary, but the world we live in today and the people in it with money and power are scary. SIBS, an experiment in creating a new world order and those who seek to stop it. Ms Bolling be careful, you will be called a conspiracy theorist, even if it is fictionalized. Can't wait for book two. Loved the way you brought back old friends from previous books.

Excellent Read!
Wow! What a great read! I Loved the main, "good", characters in this book ! I believe everyone who reads this book will find it very interesting and not want to put it down! It has mystery, humor, action, and the author shows some compassion towards a lot of wronged people. I can't wait for this Author, Iris Billing, to come out with the next book in this series! I definitely recommend this book!

An Exciting Mind Blogging Adventure Ride
This book was explosive and exciting from the beginning to the end. I can’t wait for the next installment because the action is just beginning. Ms. Bolling never fails to make you think, what if...this book is an INTRIGUING mixture of Sci-Fi with the thrill of Mystery and Suspense. I can't wait to find out what's up next on this journey for the Tyson brothers and their family/friends. Iris Bolling has crafted an entertaining tale with a COLORFUL cast of characters.

Iris has done it again!
Wow, what a crazy story! And I mean that in the best way! I really enjoyed this and after reading it through, I'm sensing another Lasseter book is on its way! I don't want to give any spoilers but I do believe there is still one brother we haven't had a story on yet and I can sed the tie in. Anyway back to this story, it definitely held my interest. I couldn't wait to see how it all wrapped up and I was not disappointed.

Thought provoking
I gave the book a five star rating because of how each character was woven into the story. Each character had a different personality but you were made to understand how they fit into the puzzle. Iris is a master story teller. You will laugh, cry, and be stimulated intellectually . A must read!

OMG!!! Wade Tyson, Rachel Fontaine and the Tyson Brothers are a force to be reckon with. This book will keep you on edge from beginning to end. It was good to see Margie, Joe, SusieMae, Redbone, Clem and Bart. I can't wait for the next book. The Chamber's are crazy and must be stopped.
OMG!!! Wade Tyson, Rachel Fontaine and the Tyson Brothers are a force to be reckon with. This book will keep you on edge from beginning to end. It was good to see Margie, Joe, SusieMae, Redbone, Clem and Bart. I can't wait for the next book. The Chamber's are crazy and must be stopped.

I wasn't sure about this book once I started reading because I was so use to Iris Bollings other characters and style, but I stuck with it and in true Iris Bolling fashion she weaved in a good storyline that left me hanging with definitely a wait for the next book. It was also surprising to see characters weaved in from other series. I definitely enjoyed it.

I don't understand how this book has 4+ stars. There were too many characters to keep up with. Three characters were named Bradford and two characters (unrelated) with the name Wade......I only finished it because I bought the book. Otherwise, I would have DNF'd it. It would have been so much better if the book was edited down. It also ends on a cliffhanger and I couldn't care less.

I'm Hooked!
Ms Iris Bolling has done it again. I'm not a big suspense reader but S.I.B.s is so doggone good! I did not want this book to end and I have solo many unanswered questions. I can't wait until the next installment is released!

Iris Bolling Never Disappoints!
Iris introduced a new group of characters in what I expect to be a new series. I was caught up in the story feeling everything from amusement, indignation, grief, and joy! I didn’t want it to end. I look forward to the next installment!
