Batman needs a break. But with new vigilante Duke Thomas moving into Wayne Manor and an endless supply of adopted, fostered, and biological superhero children to manage, Bruce Wayne is going to have his hands full. Being a father can't be harder than being Batman, right?
CRC Payne is a freelance writer from Seattle, WA. Batman: Wayne Family Adventures is her first webcomic series. She spends most of her free time writing, reading, and drinking way too much tea.
The second installment in this charming webtoon series once again takes us behind the scenes of America's favorite super family, Batman, and his clan of adopted and foster children, all living that vigilante lifestyle. As with book one, their stories, told his brief vignettes, are not about battling villains (or at least not many), but about their lives in between those encounters. This is done with a lot of humor, as you would expect from this brood.
In one story, Damien Wayne, is compiling blackmail material on all his siblings.
"It is a necessary evil," he tells himself. "I refuse to be forced into doing someone else's chores simply because I was not prepared."
Yet, he can't seem to get any dirt on Jason Todd (a.k.a. Red Hood). He finally breaks into Todd's apartment and makes an unexpected discovery: Jason reads Jane Austen. Rather than being embarrassed by his little brother's discovery, Todd invites Damien to sit down and read Pride and Prejudice — which he loves. The brothers agree to keep this interest to themselves.
This volume takes a darker and more serious tone by also looking at jealousy, resentment, guilt and trauma. Most compelling was again about Todd, whose post-traumatic stress disorder is triggered by a single sound, and it's up to Bruce, Stephanie, Tim and Alfred to help him get through it.
A fun, easy read which is highly recommended.

The boys fight over the last of Alfred's cookies. Fun, short reads; this is available only on WEBTTOON, and I'm thinking I'll read a lot more on there as a way to pass time when I have five minutes to spare or while exercising.
This is the most wholesome story I have read in a minute. The art is beautiful ♡ The chapters are currently free (on Webtoon), and I'm enjoying this read.
This will be the longest webtoon I have read to date, but I'm still enjoying it.
