Historically important, and I like that this collection kept the original Middle English (with some footnotes for more challenging words). Still, the actual plays themselves are pretty tedious and uninteresting unless you're a fan of overtly religious hectoring (which, to be fair, is exactly the point of these plays ... so, job done!)

castle of perseverance is a shitty play (not good) skelton wrote it and said nah bro let this be anonymous haha
it's something ud love to read w old frens on vacation etc
wen I was in 7th grade i liked my English textbook so much i used to beg my seme to orate him while he watches me after fajr but that never happen etc
