The Esoteric Structure of the Alphabet is a book written by Alvin Boyd Kuhn. It delves into the hidden meanings and symbolism behind the letters of the alphabet, exploring their esoteric significance in various cultures and spiritual traditions. Kuhn argues that the letters of the alphabet were not created arbitrarily, but were instead designed to convey deeper truths and spiritual insights. He draws on a wide range of sources, including ancient texts, mythology, and philosophy, to support his thesis. The book is divided into chapters, each focusing on a different letter of the alphabet and its esoteric significance. Kuhn explores the numerological associations of each letter, as well as its relationship to various spiritual concepts such as the divine, the soul, and the cosmos. The Esoteric Structure of the Alphabet is a thought-provoking and insightful work that will appeal to anyone interested in the hidden meanings and symbolism behind language and communication.God built the universe on numberPythagoras. Clearly the Rosetta Stone for my own limited understanding of the so called scriptures and the origin of language and the deep meaning of the alphabet. I can now see more clearly that the religions of the world are not history at all and is will prompt me to study the ancient writings further.
even if untrue in a historical or philological sense, the author presents a fascinating way to think of the symbolism represented by alphabetical character symbols.
Useless. Just a lot of rambling. Also has many @insert something here showing the author did not even bothered to properly prepare the book for printing.
I came across this while becoming interested in logos and the idea of the universal formation from sound, and the connection to the Hebrew language. The premise is that the journey through the alphabet describes the soul’s physical manifestation and return to the divine. I found the first third interesting, where the history of how we got our letters is described. The balance I had to force my way through a bit, but the concept was interesting enough to make it a worthwhile read.
This book will change your view on symbols, their meaning, and how they affect our world. Kuhn is an exquisite genius in showing how out alphabet was formed and how language dictates reality. Get it.
The way that this books breaks religion down in an esoteric way is unlike anything that I have ever been introduced to before. I will be reading more from this author!
