Oh, my goodness. I want to have the MacLeod family as an "add-on" to mine. Can never have enough extended family, right?

Another wonderful visit to this area and family with additional friends gathered into the fold. (along with a bit of romance - 3 suitors? - what's next for Katherine?) Some mystery, more history and much appreciation of the glorious beauty of western Michigan.

Even though I live in this area, Barb has done research and found treasures of historical information that have much meaning to me as an "adopted" resident of the shore.

However, this history is relative to many areas of our state and many other parts of the country. This can be a sequel to the previous 6 books, or suitable as a stand-alone to read in NewYork, Louisiana or California.

Of course, I enjoyed the "soon - and often" reference.

Barbara Bull does so much research in preparing to write her books. I have learned so much while enjoying her books. Another great read. I can't wait for the next one.
