Security Detail is a 4‑star, “these two are going to bicker their way into each other’s hearts whether they like it or not” romantic‑suspense ride. Becca “The Beast” McNeal comes in swinging — literally — all grit, discipline, and emotional armor thick enough to stop a tank. She does not want Dalton on her team, in her space, or anywhere near her sparring mat.
Naturally, he takes that as a challenge.
Dalton Buckley is the reformed flirt with a heart he pretends he doesn’t have, and the second he meets Becca, the man’s entire internal operating system crashes. He’s infuriating, charming, persistent in that “I’m not going anywhere, deal with it” way, and absolutely determined to prove he’s more than a pretty face and a good right hook.
Their chemistry is pure friction — sharp, stubborn, and addictive. She pushes him away. He shows up anyway. She tests him. He passes with flying colors. And somewhere between the training sessions, the banter, and the emotional landmines, they start seeing each other for who they actually are beneath all the bravado.
And then the past comes knocking. Hard.
The suspense thread hits just right: tense enough to raise your pulse, grounded enough to keep the romance front and center. Dalton’s protective streak goes from “annoying” to “oh no, he would absolutely throw himself in front of a moving vehicle for her,” and honestly? It works. It works so well.

Absolutely loved this book. Finished in one sitting. Dalton and Becca are awesome characters.

I loved this one! Becca is a strong and tough heroine with a sweet heart. Shes a female MMA fighter and spends her days training for her next fight and following her strict guidelines to keep her healthy and strong. It leaves no times for friends or a man in her life. While she loves what she does, she’s damaged from her past experiences and has very few she is close to. When she needs protection due to her time in the public eye, Rogue Securities is who her coach calls and that’s when Dalton steps into her life.
Dalton works for Rogue Securities and enjoys it immensely. He’s been through some tough cases and this next one will be one he will never forget. He’s hired on as Becca’s bodyguard/sparring partner due to his background in martial arts. The attraction is quick but they each push it to the side to do their jobs until they just can’t fight it anymore. He keeps her safe and makes her feel wanted and needed. It’s perfect until the past tears it’s ugly head and threatens to take it all from them.
I adore this series and Evan Grace’s writing style. I always feel as though I’m a part of her books and the characters are my friends. I love getting lost in the worlds she creates. Another fantastic book!

Torna Evan Grace con i ragazzi della Rouge Security and Investigation.
Questa volta tocca a Dalton, che si ritrova a difendere e allenare Becca "The Beast" McNeal, una lottatrice di MMA.
La scrittura della Grace a me piace, come pure la grande famiglia della Rouge, conosciuta romanzo dopo romanzo.
Il tocco romantico, la dolcezza a cui ci ha abituato l'autrice si ritrovano anche in questo romanzo, che però, strano ma vero, scorre veloce anche se presenta un ritmo lento. La storia fra i due protagonisti è un vero slow burn, la scena è quasi sempre occupata da Becca e Dalton, se si escludono poche interazioni con Gio l'allenatore e i colleghi di Dalton. Eppure, nonostante il ritmo lento, eventi che avvengono molto lentamente, le pagine scorrono e in poco tempo ci si ritrova alla fine del libro. L'autrice tocca in maniera veloce e delicata il dramma della violenza, però riesce a trasmettere tutta la drammaticità della situazione, tutta l'ansia di chi vittima ha la paura di essere giudicata e considerata una bugiarda.
Sicuramente non il mio preferito della serie, ma un'altra lettura piacevole e che strappa sorrisi.
Una serie che consiglio, un romanzo che vi regalerà qualche ora di piacevole intrattenimento.

I’ve been looking forward to spending time with the folks of Rogue Security again, and I’m glad to say that I wasn’t disappointed! Dalton and Becca were fantastic together. Sure, it’s a bit of a slow burn, but it’s a slow burn of the best kind. Neither wants to damage the relationship they have, they both want each other, and they just need to get on the same page with a little communication to make that burn become an inferno.
Even with the possible danger around Becca, she went on living her life. She didn’t do anything you’d expect, which was so utterly refreshing to me! Especially since she was a force to be reckoned with on her own, but she didn’t let her ego run the show. And Dalton couldn’t help but admire that about her. And want Becca even more because of it! So when the danger finally did make itself known, get ready for the surprise of who does the saving. I don’t think that this could’ve worked out better any other way and thanks to this tale, I can’t wait for the next couple to share their journey to happiness.

It's different than the first three, it's sweet and the characters are nice with each other. It was missing the heat and passion of the other stories in the series.
It takes a long time for anything to happen between them. The H is very sweet and protective of her but not Jealous/OTT. I was just hoping for him to be insane with his need for her even if he wasn't going to take advantage because he was hired to protect her
This is a guy who picks up two women at the gym at the beginning of the book and goes home with them for a threesome (thankfully no description on page, ew!) What I wanted was for him to want her madly and not just be attracted to her.
The triggers are that the h was abused by a former coach (she's a rising MMA fighter) when she was a teenager and does speak of it later in the story, descriptive but not graphic.
The h was a sweetheart.

Dalton is the sexy Brit we have been frothing over in the past books in this series and we finally get his story! In Jack and Harley’s book we saw that his next assignment was a female MMA fighter and this leads us to now.
Becca is an up and coming MMA fighter that has some issues she is aware of and others that she isn’t. Dalton is brought on under the guise of being her sparring partner but he is also her personal security.
They have a slow burning chemistry that builds quickly. We learn both of their back stories and see them clicking into place and falling for each other.
Danger always comes calling and Becca shows she won’t let her fear take control any longer when Dalton is at risk. I’m so ready to read Millie and Marcus’s book now!

One of my favorite series!! I look forward to each and every release, but this series is one I will read over and over. Dalton and Becca are some of my favorites. Their story combines the perfect mixture of suspense, hot alphas, and the romance we all love. You will not want to put this down once you start so make sure you are fully fed and hydrated. I know I didn’t sleep. If you haven’t clicked this yet, what could you possibly be waiting for!!!!

This was a great addition to this series! Dalton is asked by his boss to provide security for Becca an up and coming MMA fighter. There is instant chemistry between them but Dalton has a job to do. Will they be able to get their happy ending or will outside forces end their journey? Can't wait for more! Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done

Dalton and Becca’s story is almost enough for me to want to start exercising! Rogue Security is a great series and it’s lovely to catch up with old friends along the way. Becca is a real kickass girl and Dalton was a bit of a manwhore but recognises something wonderful when he sees it. This story is exciting and romantic, loved it .

Love this series!!
I love this series!! And I could not put this down. From the first page Becca's reason for needing Rogue had me gripped and then Dalton?!!!!
But what I love more was that it was more than a job, Rogue are like a huge family and get bigger as they embrace another into their fold!!

Love this series!
This is such a great little series! The security team is amazing and all the guys are so sweet and protective. It was wonderful to see old characters again and the potential for Marcus. We need his story next! This story had all the feels seeing Erik and Dahlia and all the gang again.

I've read and reread the Rogue Security series countless times so saying I was looking forward to this book would be a huge understatement. These guys are like family, I love seeing them all together. Becca was tough as nails and I enjoyed the slow burn between her and Dalton. I hope there will be more from these characters in the future.

Different but Wonderful
I never realized how you come to expect certain things in a love story to happen in a certain order. This was that rule breaker. I loved this story though and like all of Evan Grace's stories, it held me in its grip to the very end. Definitely worth the 5 stars.

What an absolutely amazing book. You are so going to fall in love with Dalton. Dalton is tasked with protecting the beautiful Becca. Can Dalton get the job done or will it prove to be to much? Love this series.

I have loved every book in this series, and this new edition did not disappoint. It was well worth the wait.

I am happy James got what's coming to him, and that Becca was the one to do it. Becca and Dalton were a good couple, so cute. Was just missing her dad getting his as well. This was a good book.

I finished this book early this morning. I loved reading it. It was full of action, betrayal, love. In the end was a happy ending.
