Historically, I’ve been primarily inclined towards clitoral vibrators and maybe even a bit intimidated to broaden my silicone library. That being said, I knew after reading most of Dr. Sadie’s other books that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pick up Toygasms and go shopping for silicone.

SO, I didn’t leave the house for upwards of 24 hours and managed to unleash a whole new level of powerful orgasms. Not only have I expanded my toy reputuar, but I’ve also improved my sex life by introducing toys to my relationship.

Impressed again by Dr. Sadie’s professional insight and fun formula to pleasure.

Sure, I’ve been masturbating since the first time I accidently bumped my clitoris up on a bedpost. But, I’ve also always been the girl my friends came to when it comes to coming. Dr. Sadie’s manual to loving yourself comes in an approachable, and fun format that lays out the 1, 2, and 3 of pleasuring yourself.

From toys, to clitoral play 101; even I learned a move or two for my little man in the boat.

Thank you Dr. Sadie for writing the manual to self pleasure. Viva la Masturbation.

This book was a great intro to women's sexuality and masturbation. It had some great tips, most of which can be found in other good books about sexuality. But I'd say it was less intimidating and probably better for women who are just starting to explore their sexuality a little more.

The sex toy section was not that impressive, but it was still a good, informative read.

So many toys so little time!
Need some ideas on what works best? How to take care of your toys? What kind of lube to use?
As always Dr. Allison preaches practicing safe sex.

This is a book I won in a give-away on Goodreads. If I was going to recommend any book for a woman or a teen this one would be it. There is a ton of information about how to style your hair, choose your make-up, even to groom your eyebrows but very little good information about helping yourself get healthy sexual satisfaction without risk. I read a book several years ago where the author stated that boys practically fall over their source of sexual pleasure while girls part are all tucked up and secret. When you link this with the stigma often placed on girls and women to explore their sexuality without a partner and it is no wonder many women remain unsatisfied with and without a partner. Ms. Allison takes a sane sensible and step-by-step manner of teaching techniques that will allow a woman to learn what works for her, what ways to explore and how to keep her safe beyond the myths and wrong information spread out there. As a mother of 2 daughters, I taught them that the surest and safest manner of safe sex was a single partner - in other words - masturbation.

I think the book is ideal for women that are curious and shy towards masturbation and sex toys. The books is a very light read and as Sadie's previous books has good information and cute illustrations that will nudge you in the right way. I've never read a book about self pleasure but this is my first one and I have to say that I did enjoy the light humor and very nice approach towards the topic. Good healthy reading material not sure about the sex toy part, but I really do like how Sadie writes about these topics and I will continue to read her other books just to find out what she has to say.

Sadie Allison puts together a great book for those ladies who don't know where to start with sexual self exploration. Many women are taught that doing this is frowned upon so they don't exactly know where to start when they get curious. Allison takes the guesswork out of what to do or how to feel in this short read. As a Pure Romance consultant, i am glad we sell her books as they are all great for information depending on what category you may be curious about!

This is my forty-fourth book that I have read from Goodreads. I think this book would help any young woman beginning to learn more about her body. The author does a great job explaining and thru illustrations the various ways that a young woman can pleasure herself. I think that if a male world read this book he could be more appreciative of helping his partner achieve her sexual potential, which in turn would help both of them achieve a better and stronger relationship.

well that was a very informative read. Unlike our male counterparts, we women may not know how to touch to pleasure ourselves. Although this was a small book, it was jam packed with things i never knew before. By boyfriend also learned alot, because it was written so that anyone can learn a thing or two from it. Very informative, and straight to the point. No fillers, no BS just the way i like it.

Unlike or male counterparts, pleasuring ourselves take practice, and a little guidance. I like how this book has no fills, and is very informative. For a small book, its packed with alot of information. Where is even a chapter on self anal play which i hadnt even thought of before! My boyfriend was very suprised when he saw this book on my nightstand, I think he learned a thing or two from it as well. Everyone wins, thanks Dr. Sadie.

Can’t recommend this book enough. I’m a sex therapist and I direct a lot of my clients to this series. It’s not as intimidating as some of the other books out there and guides you through every step of the pleasure process.

Suprisingly there arent too many books on this topic, but there should be! Because many of us dont know what to get, or where to start. There are so many weird novelty/gag type toys out there that are more for a laugh then for pleasure. This book is a great tool for those who are in the dark about what kinds of toys are best suited for you. Some of the things in the book were kind of obvious to be, but maybe not to others so its a good thing she included it, like making sure the batteries are inserted properly. Which might be a no-brainer, but not everyone might get it. But there was also interesting facts about the same topic. Like how removing the batteries after each use prolongs battery life. Thanks Dr. Sadie! There are toys in here for men and women. i was pleasantly suprised by how much my boyfriend liked playing with toys as well. He said the vibration felt good for him too..

I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. Very interesting and pleasing read! Whether your preference is clitoral, vaginal, or anal stimulation, this book is very educational in all areas. The book doesn't just teach one on how to reach amazing orgasms, it also educates readers on the various types of toys and techniques one can use to reach pleasure alone and with a partner. I enjoyed Dr. Sadie Allison's book as it was very enlightening for me. There were some toys covered in the book that I had actually been considering purchasing. After reading the book, I feel more educated and guided in my choices. I think everyone can benefit from gaining some new perspective from this read and I look forward to reading some of Dr. Sadie Allison's other books!

X-Mart book. It told me a lot about some of the toys I was selling that took some imagination to figure out. Decent as far as sex toy books go.
