My name is Christopher Greyson, and I am a storyteller.

Since I was a little boy, I have dreamt of what mystery was around the next corner, or what quest lay over the hill. If I couldn’t find an adventure, one usually found me, and now I weave those tales into my stories. I am blessed to have written over twenty novels.

My love for tales of mystery and adventure began with my grandfather, a decorated World War I hero. I will never forget being introduced to his friend, a WWI pilot who flew across the skies at the same time as the feared, legendary Red Baron. My love of reading and storytelling eventually led me to write and it’s the best job I’ve ever had.

I love to hear from my readers. Please visit ChristopherGreyson.com, where you can become a preferred reader, download an exclusive Jack Stratton mystery, and receive advanced notifications of book releases and more! Sincerely,

Christopher Greyson

Christopher Greyson does it again, to the delight of us fans. Newlywed Jack and “Replacement” Alice get to an idyllic island for their honeymoon and immediately get involved in writing a wrong.

The book deals with a sunken prize, adventurous treasure hunters, murderers and crooked cops, all bearing the inimitable brand of the creator of the wonderfully entertaining Jack Stratton series. I am a hopeless addict!

The author has written another page turner. It robbed me of my sleep. And this one is VERY special in terms of Jack’s relationship with Alice.

Greyson is a master at delighting the reader. Of course, he is technically perfect in character development and incredibly unpredictable plots. The thing the truly separates him from the Koontzes, Dan Browns and Stephen Kings is that he makes the story real. This could have happened. And it is darned entertaining, which is the job of the thriller writer.

Again, I wish I could give it more than Five Stars.

1.5 rounded up to 2 stars. I quite enjoyed some of the books at the start of this series, but for me it has jumped the shark. There's quite a cheesy quality to the books now, (every other chapter seemed to end with a line like "And when two devils fought, there'd be Hell to pay", and you can just imagine the implied 'dun dun DUN!'. I felt like rolling my eyes a lot). And I don't enjoy their romantic relationship, Alice is written like such a child, that even being good with computers and loyal, (admirable qualities), she just can't possibly be an actual partner to Jack. He's always handling her with special kid gloves, and often when he does try to treat her like an adult, like admitting to her that they're being followed, even when he first prefaced it with a reminder to obviously not turn and look, she somehow just can't help herself. Ugh. This series had potential, but I'm jumping ship. <-- See? This manner of writing is just cringey.

This is another great addition to the Jack Stratton mystery series. I loved Jack and Alice as always. Their commitment to each other is clearly written without being cheesy or overdone.
When two dive guides find a sunken Russian sub carrying a possible nuclear warhead they get in over their heads with the wrong people. During a charter when one of the guides is killed Jack and Alice are pulled right into the intrigue. Who benefits the most with the discovery?
The sheer number of suspects is crazy but make perfect sense to the plot of the story as Jack and Alice race to save the day and themselves.
Plan to stay up late, you won’t want to put it down.

Exciting, thrilling and romantic!!!!

Jack and Alice can’t seem to catch a break and just find some romantic down time. Bad guys abound and all seem to find our two good guys even on their honeymoon. The beauty of the Bahamas aside trouble always raises its dirty head when a corrupt contingent of men vie for power. Sometimes it’s really hard to decipher who the good and/or the bad guys are. Jack and Alice seem to be on the run from two or three different groups of bad men but still have the time to save a decent man and his pregnant wife. It’s a good fast paced read and very enjoyable. Looking forward to Book 10.

Was all excited when I saw a new Jack Stratton book available and was anxious to read it. For some reason, I was disappointed. It was a struggle for me to get through the book, maybe it was the storyline in the Bahamas. There could have been more conversation between Jack and Alice. Their honeymoon 'problem' was handled delicately enough but seems like there should have been more dialog about their future, etc. If there is a next novel, maybe it will be back on home turf and I will enjoy it more. I did like all the previous books in the series so I have high hopes.

Sorry to see Jack and Alice go...

My rating is for the entire Jack Stratton series of 9 books. From book #1, I developed an interest in the main characters and their development. I can honestly say that now that I have completed the last book in the series, I will actually miss the relationships of Jack, Alice, Aunt Haddie and the rest of the cast. I actually felt myself being a part of their life and that is a testament to Christopher Greyson and I say Thank you.
Any suggestions for the next book?

Already anticipating next book

I just love this series. Fell for the characters at the start and never want the book to finish because they add joy to my life. Reading great books is my moments to myself in the evening and after completing a great novel it is bittersweet leaving those characters that become a small part of your day. Christopher Greyson did it again and I cant wait until the next in series.

Loved it

What a honeymoon. This series/book is great ! I love to read about Jack and Alice and all they get into. Lots of adventure, intrigue, action and even a little romance thrown in. This story is a true nail bitter....you don’t know who to trust or what will be thrown at them next. Pulls you in at the start and keeps you reading and guessing til the end. Definitely recommend you read this

So glad Jack is back!

Jack and Alice’s honeymoon is capsized by a murder, conspiracy, and an attempt to find an old Soviet nuclear sub that disappeared, during the war. Jack and Alice keep saving each other and several others in the process. The minute they get out of one mess, another problem comes up.

No Lady

I started reading these books because of Lady. She wasn’t. In this book at all and the two before that barely spoke of her. She added a lot of antics and interest for me. Without her this has turned into just another series of murder books. I will hesitate to buy another.

Replacement is a good character. Jack needs a little clarification. Is he a bounty hunter, detective or something else? The written broken English at the beginning was a little too much but overall a good book.

Great writing!

His writing keeps me on the edge! I will be so wrapped up in the suspense I don't realize how much my body has become rigid . Hands clinched tight, jaw clamped shut and every mussel is held tight until there is a reprieve..

Unforgettable Honeymoon !

Another great book for this series. I enjoyed all the twists and turns of the book and how Jack and Alice had to be careful about who to trust. Much thanks to the author for another great adventure.

Amazing

Great book! But I feel there's more to come. I'm crossing my fingers; the action and mystery were great. I'm sad it's over; the main characters are perfect for each other. I definitely recommend this series.

Well written. Real page turner. Jack and Alice on their honeymoon. Of course things certainly don't go as they had planned. Christopher Greyson seems to blend things together nicely. Worth reading.

Great book

A real genuine page turner. Mystery with a difference, the Jack Stratton series proves you can write an awesome mystery without the fowl language and story lines. I just wish books had ratings like movies. This one ACE, adventurous, clean and exciting.

Honeymoon on the run

Continuation of Jack and Alice this time on their honeymoon in the Bahamas when they get accused of murder. IMO this was a weaker story line than others in the series.
