A lot happens between the pages of this novel. Intrigue, jealousy, deceitfulness, adultery, misbehaving kids, ppl with power wielding their influence, brokenness, murder, sexism, you name it-it’s here. But so craftily weaved into every day normal. The novel will pull at your heart strings and have you rooting for the underdog in every situation. Don’t be intimidated by the length-you Will want more when the book ends.
