Now that the veil has been lifted, all secrets have been revealed, or have they? A forgotten person from Valentino's past appears and is not happy about his new love while Felipe returns to finish the job he started.
New challenges present themselves as the forgotten past blends with the present, causing conflict in the privacy of the Greco household. Valentino and Isabelle must fight for their love or allow it to consume them both, destroying the foundation they have built.
Security is now tightened and a handsome bodyguard, Noah, has been added to the team. His job is to protect Isabelle at all costs, but he brings a shocking revelation no one saw coming.
This book contains mature themes: Graphic sexual situations and violence.

Valentino and Isabelle are back. I became familiar with these two in The Veil. My love for these two had really grown with this book. The first book was spicy but this one is a volcano. There is one more book to go in this trilogy and I can't wait to read it; especially after the cliffhanger this book ended with.
It was great to revisit Valentino and Isabelle again. As I mentioned, a moment ago, I have really grown close to these two. This book had more suspense that I was all for. Although, I am wondering if Valentino and Isabelle will ever get their HEA. Yet, they are showing that they can battle anything that is thrown at them, and they are stronger together. My heart is happy with this latest book in The Veil Trilogy.
I was so excited to dive back into Isabelle and Valentino's world!! I've been looking forward to this sequel since I read the first book last year, and V.B. did not disappoint.
We are immediately swept up into V's fast paced, billionaire world, but that doesn't mean we forget about the spice. Even though Isabelle and V are together now, the spice is still JUST as hot!
And the twists and turns...I did not see most of them coming. If you're looking for a hot, exciting, billionaire series, this is the one for you!
Holy cow the obsession is real!! Each turn you take in this book another twist you don't expect happens and your kept on you toes the entire journey!! Isabelle and Valentino's story is so captivating and they keep you wanting more. The dynamic of the two is so perfect she's the yin to his yang. Even though they are have polar opposite personalities they mesh and compliment each other so well. It's extra extra spicy too!! So much is unpacked in the story you definitely never know what's coming next and I love stories written in that style!
If you love the touch her and die trope well this series is full of it and I am here for it all. I mean all of it....Valentino, William, the body guards and all! Joseph is still one of my favorites his character just gets better and better. I love how they all become so much closer in this book and they learn to trust helping hands a little more. THAT CLIFFHANGER THOUGH!?!?!?! I need to know what happens next. I am excited to see beast unleashed fully when everything is on the line....IYKYK V.B. Emanuele graced us with another master piece with this one!
Ahhhh another great book from V.B. Emanuele!! Soooo freak’n great!! This book was everything & more!! I loved it so much!! 💜🖤
Isabelle & Valentino are everything!! I love them & their characters.. This book had twists & turns.. & so much more.. & spice don’t forget the spice lol 🥵🥵 So so good.. It had me on such an emotional roller coaster lol.. Just couldn’t get enough!! Can’t wait for book three to come out!!
This series is a must freak’n read!! & it’s not over yet!!😬🥰💜🖤
“This book was given to me in exchange for my honest review."
I was so excited to jump back into Valentino and Isabelle’s world again. VB Emanuele did not disappoint There was lots of action and steamy scenes.I couldn’t put it down…. I can’t wait for book 3 to see how their story unfolds.
Another hit by V.B Emanuele!! Story takes off where the Veil left off, suspense, surprises, romance and laughs all around. Rejoin your favorite characters from the first book with some new friends... newly found family and the evil family with a new twist. Valentino and Isabelle are the dream couple with all the erotica you expect from V.B.Emanuele. Can't wait for the next installment.
Holy plot twists, Batman! Continuing where we left off in The Veil, now happily engaged, our couple must face may trials and tribulations, some even coming from their own house. This is a hot, intense ride from start to finish. And that ending ahhhhhh! I have to know what happens next!
When I say I was on the edge of my seat for this entire book, it is not an understatement. Granted the book was too good to put down and I read the majority in one sitting! The action and suspense combined with the sultry romance was the perfect mix and as always Valentino and Isabelle were almost too hot to handle. I cannot say enough amazing things about this one! 5 stars all day
This plot just keeps getting better and better. The twist and the turns and the surprises just keep getting worse and more interesting by the chapter! I loved seeing another side of Valentino on this one. His relationship with Isabelle is taken to the next level and its even better than I expected it to be. Author V.B. Emanuele really knows how to deliver on the climaxes (IYKYK) lol. I really enjoy how she keeps making every character in her story likable. It's so easy to get invested not only in the main characters but also into the rest of the characters storylines. I might need a Noah and Laura book (in case you read this Mrs. Emanuele). If I had to choose a favorite character it would probably be Joseph. Super random but he is indeed book boyfriend material. I do have to be honest and say I was NOT a super fan of this ending because of the cliffhanger. I was expecting it but no, no, no, not like this. My mind can't take it I have too many questions. I can't take the suspense. I need to know what happens. Anyways, great second part to this nail biting story.
This is book two in The Veil Trilogy and I absolutely loved it! I was completely drawn into Isabelle and Valentino's world right from the start again. V.B. Emanuele captivates with amazing characters and lots of twists and thrills. I didn't want to stop reading and experienced a rollercoaster of emotions. The book does end on a cliffhanger and I will be impatiently waiting for book three.
Just finished this book and I’m so ready for book3. I mean that cliffhanger and in the worst position ever . Isabelle is so happy to be engaged to the lucky Valentino with a bit of a surprise . Of course there is some drama with an ex and of course the uncle Felipe . I’m so happy for those two I can’t wait for the wedding . There is so much steam in this book between Valentino and Isabella. I’m super excited to see what lies ahead for them in the next book.
Again, V.B Emanuele doesn't disappoint with a book that leaves you wanting more after spending the whole night reading it because you couldn't put it down. V., is the man every woman wants, but there are still twist and turns in the book that you don't see coming. Making the book page worthy. Absolutely a read must can't wait to read the next!!
A serious step up from book 1. More twists, more action and seriously spicy scenes that do not hold back. I loved how the fmc is dealing with the traumatic events of recent days but also becoming more headstrong in what she wants. She truly has V wrapped around her little finger. I am however still waiting for my invite to the auction, so still kinda bummed about that.
This is so next level on the amazing scale! I loved being back in the world of Isabelle and Valentino. It's so reall like I'm Isabelle (unfortunately not somedays....lol). V.B Emanuele has definitely out done herself on this book. I can't wait to see book three
Unveiled is just, Wow! It is everything you can expect from a V.B. Emanuele erotic suspense novel. Join the handsome men and gorgeous woman you met in The Veil, a baby, family they love, family they chose themselves and those that want to kill them, and a few new characters. There will be injuries and deaths, a party, a wedding and an auction. Some things are not what they seem. Expect the unexpected.
It made me feel every emotion possible. V.B. Emanuele is truly a talented author.
WOW The novel is everything you 're looking for. Suspense that you can't control adrenaline. The Steamy Love story between our Isabelle &Valentino , in addition to Noah whom I didn't trust in the beginning, I fell in love with him at the end, though. I loved the lively descriptions that 'll make you live the adventure yourself. To be honest, the author never let me down. She always goes above & beyond our expectations and leaves with an unexpected cliffhanger.
Omg. When I read book 1 I needed more of Isabella and Valentino story. And from book 1 I wasn't disappointed.
This fast paced story has it all. I love it. The twist and turn I didn't see. The spice. This book is packed with everything. If you thought book 1 was hot, wait until you read book 2. This one is on another level, and I have to say I can’t wait for this book and finish this amazing world.
I wish I could write a review of gifs that express my emotional journey throughout this book because this one was a rollercoaster. And don’t get me started on that ending. I need the next book now!!!! You can’t leave a girl hanging like that. 😓
I’m not exaggerating when I say I had every single feeling reading this book. From pure joy and happiness, to panic and dismay and even a slight heart attack at one point. Okay, the heart attack was a bit dramatic but seriously V.B. put the pen down and back away from my Joseph. 🥺
If you have not read one these books you need to. I don’t just recommend this series but all of V.B. Emanuele’s books!
The story continues! Oh my God! What else is there to say about this one! The author KILLED US ALL with that twist and I'm livin for it. We need book 3 NOW! I'm obsessed with The Veil and Unveiled. The author continues to make these characters captivate their audience in every single way. We need to all call Netflix and get this author a movie for these books. Holy sh*t!!!!!
I was really looking forward to reading The Veil trilogy, and have been patiently waiting until it was complete to do so. A few days ago I finished the first installment and couldn't but give it 5 stars. I really enjoyed the story, the characters and their chemistry, as well as the plot, with just the right doses of suspense to keep you reading until the last page and wanting to start the next one as soon as possible.
I had just come from reading Just Bussiness, and while I found this one somewhat simple from a narrative and language standpoint, but good enough in everything else to give it 4 stars, I have to admit that I found the first installment of The Veil to be much more complete and better written.
All in all, I dove straight into the second and third with very high expectations. Unfortunately, I think something is lacking in them. I have the impression that two books are too much for the development that is made of the story, because there are many moments in which it seems that nothing happens. Also, although I have respected from the beginning the fact that the author has not wanted to develop more the darker aspects of the story (the illegal business and Valentino's relationship with the Mafia), in the end something is missing to complete the character and the story. It is intended to convey the idea that he is a powerful and dangerous character, but the truth is that this power is not exhibited, moreover, what is happening is detrimental to the strength that the main character should have. Yes, there are basements, people are killed, but everything is too soft, as if they wanted to bleach the character by avoiding his darker and dirtier side.
On the other hand there is her, Isabelle, a character I loved in the first installment, but in the next two I think she doesn't show her full potential. At times she gives the impression that she is going to bloom like a chrysalis, and assume a reality and a way of seeing life that would bring her closer to one of those heroines who do not hesitate to dye part of her light with the darkness of the world around her. But that's something that doesn't happen, or at least it doesn't happen with the depth that lovers of the dark like me always expect from our heroines.
All in all, 5 stars for the first one, and 3 stars for the next two. Still, this is an entertaining read, and out of respect for the author's well above average level of writing, it deserves to be read in its entirety.
And by the way, I just started War Within, and so far it's going very well, very-very well.
Unveiled picks up three months after Valentino and Isabelle got engaged and he is still not sure where exactly Isabelle's uncle, Felipe, is at. What he does know is he needs to find him and end him once and for all. Not to mention the media is having a blast with the fact he is engaged! He wants Isabelle protected at all times and that results in Joseph hiring a guard just for her, Noah.
These two do not have a very long relaxation period because someone is feeding lies about them to the media and there starts to be signs Felipe is nearby. Isabelle just wants to plan her wedding to Valentino in peace. Well that won't happen because this is a V.B. Emanuele book after all!!!
There were times when this book was nice and relaxing to read and other times when I couldn't believe what I was reading and panic would ensue...lol! New characters are introduced in this story and I trusted not a single one of them at first. I know how Ms. Emanuele likes to plot twist all over her books so I was always questioning everyone. Some I was right about and others I was not. There are two pretty significant twists that pop up that left me stunned and well done on the author's part!
Much like The Veil we see both sides of Valentino in this. The loving and tender side when it comes to his Isabelle and the ruthless made man side of him when it comes to those that hurt his loved ones! I love both sides of him!!! His protectiveness over Isabelle is something fierce. Just when you think this book is going to have a fairly calm ending you are smacked in the face with one of those plot twists and then the book ends...lol! Possible spoiler....it ends on a cliffhanger! The good news is The Veiling releases very soon and we will get the answers we have been waiting for.
May contain some spoilers! Book 2 picks up three months after the end of book 1. Valentino and Isabelle are both trying to get over the traumathic event that took place in London, together with Tanya and William - glad they were still very present in this book too, but the threat of Felipe and Jesse is still in the air. On that thought, Val hires a new bodyguard for her, Noah - don't worry because Joseph is still here and as dutiful as ever, which leads to a few good giggles along the pages especially during his first scenes, plus some new secrets and reveals... different types of relationships. All I can say is that I didn't see what was coming! It was one of the most unexpected connections that V. B. Emanuele made so far. Read so you can find out too! Also, the Val and Noah moments we get, made me laughs out loud - perfection! Their engagement made the media and press be very interested about Isabelle, which will cause them trouble by spreading fake news, leading to them having to hire a publicist, Lindsay, which will bring more drama in their life rather than solving the problem. Book 2, in my opinion, is very dynamic. Determined to protect their loved ones, Valentino, William, Joseph but also Noah are coming up with plans and strategies, only for us to be hit with a big plot twist, again, that will make our men spring into action. Characters from her other series, Italian Billionaire Series, make appearences so if you want to find out more about Giovanni and Emilio Rovati check out War Within (Book 1) Towards the ending, the author takes us back to where it all started: the annual masquerade. The book ends with a suspenseful cliffhanger that leaves the reader gasping!
Title: Unveiled Author: V. B. Emanuele Series: The Veil Trilogy #2 Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆
Unveiled of course is hands down one of my favorite arcs!!! Emanuele writes the best Italian romances ever. The Veil left off with Isabelle and Valentino very much in love with a surprise on the way. Of course I was left waiting very impatiently on Unveiled, wanting to know what was going to happen.
I've always liked how Isabelle has always been more mature and carried herself with such grace which helps her manage the mayhem she faces in Unveiled. Of course Emanuele delivered when she wrote this book. I love, love, love Valentino and his "touch her and you die" attitude when it comes to his Isabelle. I loved seeing how much devotion and care Valentino shows Isabelle as they start a family together.
If you are looking for a series that is full of spice, romance and a very sexy Italian man then look no further, V.B. Emanuele delivers all of that and so, so much more. The Veil and Unveiled are MUST READS and are such a great duo for this trilogy. I know without a doubt that The Veiling is going to be just as good if not better than the first two books. Stay tuned for my review on The Veiling. 100% recommend this series for my fellow readers!!
"Emotionally, I was done with it and ready to end him. Physically, glass sometimes still came to the surface of my body that reminded me of what happened."
Unveiled by V.B. Emanuele is the second book in The Veil Trilogy and OMG I didn't think I could love it even more than the first one but I did. The story continues from where we left off in the first book. We get to see how everybody continues with their life after the tragic night but also more happy stuff like Tanya and William's baby being born. We get to see a little more of the side characters and what's going on in their life as well but we also get to meet new characters. ( Noah I love you ) If I hoped I would get to be more relaxed reading this book, I was completely wrong, I didn't get one moment of peace with everything that was going on. We get to see the relationships growing, for one Isabelle and Valentino, I love how much they trust each other and also Isabelle's friendship with her bodyguard but especially her and Joseph!! It's also great ( and funny ) seeing Valentino slowly starting to accept and trust people more. And oh how much I loved seeing a certain not-so-wonderful person get what they deserve❤️❤️ ( the audacity of that person ) never hated a character from the moment they first appear but that one reeked of bad intentions. And let me tell you, you don't know what stress means until you see them deal with the bad stuff, everyone is happy they move on, everything is great but there is still 20% left!!! My heart can't handle that. With that being said, I enjoyed this book so much and I can't wait to start The Veiling. And not to worry the spice is still there and just as great as in the first book.
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩: ✔️ Sexy Italian dominant MMC ✔️ Billionaire ✔️ Dark romance ✔️ Mascarade ball ✔️ He would burn the whole world for her ✔️ 🌶🌶🌶
𝙐𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙 by V. B. Emanuele is Book 2 in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘦𝘪𝘭 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺. I couldn't put this book down. I read books 1 and 2 back to back and I am sooo hucked. I now have to wait for book 3 and I am so frikin excited for it to come out and be in my hands. I need to know what will happen next.
I said it before and I am saying it again, V is a MASTER at writing dark billionaire romance. She writes the story sooo friking amazing that you feel you are part of it as you read the book.
If you love "𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘳 & 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘦" vibes than this book, and this trilogy as a whole, is perfect for you. I can't wait for book 3 because THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!!! OH MY GOOOOD!!!!
Unveilded is book 2 of The Veil Trilogy series by V.B. Emanuele. I was pretty excited to begin book two because book one had me on the edge of my seat, action-packed and damn spicy!
When we left Isabelle and Valentino they had fallen in love and had a little surprise on the way! Book two picks up where the other left off and continues their story. It was nice to get right back into the storyline. Newly engaged and very pregnant, Isabelle must now manage being thrust into the limelight and the center of, sometimes negative, attention. To try to control the narrative in the press, a publicist is hired to paint a prettier picture. As a way to beef up security, a sexy new bodyguard is added to the team and assigned to protect Isabelle. Noah and Isabelle hit it off, but she was not expecting the secret he was hiding.
In book two, you see Valentio’s devolution to Isabelle and his excitement for their family. He has that “touch her and die” vibe 10000%. Isabelle’s trust and maturity in the face of the chaos around her are unmatched.
Like book one, Unveiled is filled with twists and turns. Unexpected secrets come to light. A past relationship threatens to break trust and damage reputations. A past enemy resurfaces and leaves us with a dramatic cliffhanger!
This novel is such a suspenseful and well thought out sequel to The Veil. I spent this entire novel on the edge of my seat, painfully torn between feeling safety and peace or waiting for the other shoe to drop!
Spoilers/summary:
Following the events of The Veil, Isabelle, Valentino and co are recouping and recovering their previous encounter with Felipe. Val spends his days ensuring Isabelle’s safety and happiness, even more so in light of her recent announcement. After discovering Felipe was still alive and well, Valentino whisks Isabelle and the gang to a private island, In a ploy to lure Felipe and hopefully defeat him, finally ensuring Isabelle’s peace and safety.
After a successfully easy takedown, the group returns home to attend Vals annual masquerade, where everything started a year ago. Unfortunately during the masquerade, Valentino receives some shocking news as this installment in the trilogy fades to black.
Very interested to see where this story line goes!
Valentino and Isabelle are faced with dangerous challenges in the second book of this series. A person from the past reappears and wreaks havoc on their family and public relations. New security detail, Noah, is added to protect Isabelle. Felipe is hunting and trying to access her and Valentino. Will Felipe be found? What secrets does Noah hold? A few unpredictable stories unfold throughout this part of the trilogy.
My Thoughts:
I actually enjoyed this story better than the first. This one was more action-packed. There are more scenes, including the mafia and dangerous situations and events. Although still some graphic intimate situations, the story was focused more on the secrets being told and revealed, adding more depth to the story and the need to "want to know what happens next." The story ends on a cliffhanger, making it hard not to purchase the last book. Part III is called The Veiling.
Unveiled by VB Emanuele is the second book in The Veil Trilogy and it left me feeling all sorts of emotions. 🖤
Definitely check out the trigger warnings for this one, I almost DNFed it halfway due to the violent ordeal that included a woman. I felt so sick. But I continued on. 💪
Valentino really turns into this bad boy in this book, and becomes that man with “touch her and you die” vibes. It feels even more intense with additional security and a publicist to smooth out any mishaps or the paparazzi getting their nose in on what’s happening in the Greco world.
Like the first book, this one has a lot of twists, however there were a few scenarios that I felt the answer was straight in my face, so the characters drawing things out was a bit underwhelming. It’s making me feel like I can’t trust them, especially if the main characters seem to be rather misleading.
I’m hoping certain things will be cleared up in the final book in the trilogy.
