Three stars, but barely, just because I like her writing.
I'm afraid this didn't work out as the King Book (to which I would give 5 stars if listed). The dynamics between the MCs of the two stories are similar: a very cruel H obsessed with the h which is basically an unwilling victim that never truly loves her fate.
However, what I could accept and even like in The King Book, I totally hated reading it in the Beautiful Evil story.
The King book is set in a fantasy world, amid a war between humans and beasts. He is a beast and she is a human. And because he is such a strong, angry beast who must uphold an appearance of hatred towards humans in front of his subjects, I could put up with occasional cruelty on his part, also because it was always followed by a tenderness I loved.
On the other hand, the Beautiful Evil story is set in contemporary times, and he is just a very evil man, cruel and sadistic, throughout the whole book. And what we get is a sadist/masochistic relationship that is not really my cup of tea. He gets the girl at the end but not in the way I would have liked it.
I love dark stories but I need at some point a change of ways, behavior, pattern, or whatever, enough to allow the h to fall in love as well. In this story his obsession and kind of love are unrequited. She ends up accepting them only because she has no alternatives.
Besides, something else happens, something that I hate the most: he shares her with other men. From that point on the story lost me completely.

I thought this was going to be a good book, it had all the tropes I like in a dark romance. The author tricked me!! The hero is disgusting and disappointing nothing like our noncon king MAX, this is a terrible excuse of a captive, stockholm syndrome dark romance. This book deserves jaillllll
IF you say the hero is obsessed with his girl then why does he share her with other men!!!!! It does not make sense. I get showing her off but, hello, isn’t she supposed to be off limits to others.

An OK read, but way under the level of her other book "The King" (13 first chapters are on wattpad), which I devoured and didn't find on GR to rate.... I'd have given "The King" 5 deserved stars, I was so obsessed I subscribed to her patron page!

The 3 stars are for the story because the execution leaves much to be desired. This is more of an erotic thriller than a romance where the guy is a straight up psychopathic villain who gets the girl though she is far from happy about it. I tend to enjoy those kinds of stories when the mood strikes and there were certain parts that were really great. However, it needed a lot of editing and development. The male character was sorely underdeveloped and came off as a caricature of a villain. What motivated him? Was he just a psychopath? We get a slight glimpse into his parents and I loved the parallels between his mom and the heroine, but it should have definitely been explored more. I just wasn't excited and intrigued by his character as I would normally be because of this lack of character development and depth. I was also constantly taken out of the story by glaring lack of research as well as poor grammar and weird time jumps. Overall, the bones of the story are there, but the rough writing definitely took away from my enjoyment.

Sin dudas este libro es la peor basura que he leído en mi vida. Es la historia más desagradable y jodida que he leído. No se hacen una idea lo que me constó terminar esta historia de horror.
Cada vez que leo un libro me gusta empatizar con los personajes, sentir lo que sienten y tratar de entender su cabeza.. pero cuando empecé este libro tuve que poner mil barreras para no permitirme sentir, porque si me me permitía sentir.. esta jodida historia iba a terminar conmigo.
Este libro es horrible, no hay nada positivo que pueda sacar de esta historia de horror.
Es una historia de un monstruo abusivo, psicótico, narcisista, egoísta, violento, asesino y violador... que durante todo el jodido libro se encarga de romper física, mental y emocionalmente a la protagonista.
Es una de las historias más horripilantes que leí en mi vida.. y sinceramente no entiendo el sentido de este libro. No sé si la autora es sádica o que.. pero leer esta bosta es leer como un monstruo va rompiendo a una mujer.. hasta dejar una cáscara vacía.. y amoldarla a su gusto...¿Y para que? Para dejar como mensaje final que no existe escapatoria.. y que está condenada a sufrir violaciones, golpes y millones de abusos más.
Este monstruo la secuestra, asesina a su familia en frente de sus ojos, la viola brutalmente durante TODO el fucking libro, la golpea, le rompe las costillas, le dispara en el hombro, la patea, la obliga a abortar, después la obliga a embarazarse, la priva de comida y de sueño mientras la encierra en un cuarto, primero rompe su cuerpo... haciéndola tener órganos en sus violaciones.. para joder con su cabeza y terminar de romperla, la incentiva a suicidarse y a que ella se defienda.. y cuando ella casi lo hace.. él la golpea brutalmente rompiendo su brazo, sus costillas y después se la regala a otro monstruo para que le haga lo que quiera.. sólo porque tiene la necesidad de que ella dependa de él.. y para hacer eso necesita mostrarle que hay monstruos peores que él.. y al final, cuando parece que ella por fin puede encontrar la libertad.. él le demuestra que jamás se va a escapar de sus garras.
Es lo más jodido y horripilante que leí en mi vida.
Tengo unas ganas inmensas de meterme en el libro y matar a Torin de una forma cruel y dolorosa. Es el personaje más repugnante que leí.
¿Y quieren saber por qué él se obsesiona así con ella? Porque sabe que en otra vida ella jamás lo hubiera necesitado, ella tenía todo un futuro por delante y eso es lo que más le jode a él.. saber que ella JAMAS lo habría necesitado. Así que se encarga de destruirla.. y lo hace.
Realmente.. ni se gasten en leer esta mierda, es un libro que te violenta, te da mucha rabia e impotencia.
Es horriblemente doloroso ver como la va rompiendo poco a poco, como la tortura de mil formas, como ella tiembla de pánico y miedo cada vez que lo tiene cerca.
Sinceramente esto es una basura. Creo que la única forma en la que se podría haber "salvado" esta bosta.. es que ella al final hubiera podido vengarse de él de una forma cruel.. pero no paso.. porque en esta mierda de historia.. ganó el villano.

There are no redeemable qualities about Torin. He is a sick bastard. He's abusive, controlling, and dominates the MC in every single way. I honestly think this is the most extreme book I've ever read because what's written is to further the point that Torin doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself. There's nothing done for shock value. It's all just to show us that he's not a good guy to any degree. Check TWs before reading!

This one was a very dark twisted psychological thriller, it's listed as erotica, but as far as that category I've read worse so I would not really consider this an erotica.
The villain (Torin) is NOT a redeemable character, he's horrible and unforgivable. I usually like my villains to be at least somewhat redeemable but you won't find that with Torin. He is a true psycho, a killer, what he wants he gets, and no one says no to him. Unfortunately for our FMC, Sagel, she accidentally crossed paths with him one night and he wanted her, and he kidnapped her. He did kill her mother and almost her father when he kidnapped her. Also, Torin almost killed Sagel twice when she attempted once to harm him and the second when she was trying to kill him. The reason not a 5-star read is that he gave Sagel to another friend to “teach” her a lesson so she'll know who the better evil is and appreciate him more. My heart broke for Sagel and I wish Torin had changed some to be redeemable but nope he didn't. There was that sliver of hope after their wedding but Torin can not change, unfortunately. You get to meet Torin’s parents and let's just say it's a repeated dynamic as is in Sagel’s future to come as well.
Please read the TW, because some really awful things happen in this book, this author is not afraid to put it all out there, and I love that!

First of all the ending was extremely rushed there was a lot missing. Also do authors HATE WOMEN????!!!! Why are they always staying with the abusers why couldn’t she have 🔪 him somehow WHY WAS SHE DESTINED TO BE BOUND TO HIM FOR THE REST OF HER MISERABLE LIFE???????? Also how can he be obsessed with her when he let that other guy???????????? I just hate this so so much THE RAGE I FELT WHILE READING THIS

Have no idea what I just read, but I loved every second. This book has me speechless. Immediately after reading, I dont know if I love it or hated it. It's billed as a Dark Novel labeled as an Erotic Thriller, and it was dope!
I liked it because of how consistent the FMCs behavior is and how the MMC is a good representation of a literary psychopath while still being engaging and smexy

Reader beware, this is not a romance, so the HEA isn't guaranteed you aren't reading the build of a romance. The MMC has a goal. He wants to get closer to the FMC as the book progresses, but this is an erotica thriller, so the focus is on the terrifying obsession. Since I didn't perceive it as a love story where we watched how a couple forms, I liked the ending. It was the perfect balance for the story.

Le doy 3 estrellas porque realmente te trasmite ese terror e injusticia que quiere contar. Es perturbador, siniestro, dantesco, tétrico. Rompe todos los esquemas, el alma. Quieres que lo maten a él y que ella incluso muera para que no sufra más. No es un libro para todos. Hay momentos que te supera leer, es demasiado fuerte.

The novel had premise, but it lacked depth completely. Apart from the grammatical errors? The reader is unable to gain any semblance of clarity regarding the main male character. He’s left obtuse and vague, while the female main character prevails with a false sense of self.
The trauma was unrealistic, and the outcome reflected this.
The novel left much to be desired. It felt rushed in places where development should have been, and overbearing during plot gaps.
I wouldn’t classify this as erotic horror. That would imply it was well-written. I’d describe it as an amateur attempt at non-con that mimics what you’d find on Literotica.
That’s not to say the author can’t improve, and this is in no way an attack on the author personally. But the writing is suffering, and needs to be improved upon; honest feedback is the only way to move forward in this regard.
When a piece of fiction is as unrealistic as this, the reader lacks the ability to connect on any level.
Evil isn’t beautiful. For if it was, the world wouldn’t be so heinous. Beauty comes from evil as it evolves and reforms. But without evolution, you’re left with this: unresolved satisfaction.

1-Hero kills heroine parent, five minutes later she has an orgasm with him.
2- he kidnaps and have unprotected sex with her..
3- she is pregnant she doesn't know . He aborts the baby without even telling her.
4-He breaks her arms and ribs ..
5- he shares her with some friend who shares her as well with other people..
6- hero gets her back, shoots her and scars her face .
7- oh they end up together 😅 but there is no chemistry. In fact if you can count how many times heroine talked to hero you will not find ten sentences through the book.
She only cries and screams.fought him couple of times got her a€€ kicked .
Anyway I read DARK books, this one had no plot. It was just psychtic torture. I gotta read Nina Jones Take me with you . THAT was a good book with a good plot and pretty dark. Logical chemistry and HEA that the readers deserve.

Oooookayyyy...
I went into this book expecting a captor/captive romance. I obviously saw the dub-con/non-con triggers and had no issues with it.
But this was something unexpected.

I went into this book expecting a captor/captive romance. I obviously saw the dub-con/non-con triggers and had no issues with it.
But this was something unexpected.

This is a one sided romance, very triggering. This is not a romance in the traditional sense of the word. It is very much a forced everything book.

This book is great. I think I have a new found author.
She really did this with this one.
I've never seen a book that's is so realistically accurate.
Everything down to the end.
The characters did well.
This book followed the truth about being kidnap and everything.
He didn't changed to be better. He was who he was from the begining, something that some authors fail to understand.
But Erin didn't at all.
His reactions to her actions was also on point. She tried to kill him and he tried to kill her. As simple as that is.
Some authors will just brush it off.
Another reason for making me love this book so much is the fact that there wasn't any "Best friend /Sibling Banter" In some other book there would have been this frined/brother or sister that the H tolerates to a point and make the H seem choldish or the h having a best friend that they are polar opposite but are as close as teeth and the best friend would just do anything for the FMC like threatening a Mafia /crime /arms dealer lord. Like who do you think you are bestie? Glad that wasn't in it tho
The only thing I didn't like about the H was that he didn't even flinch when he disborgined her, like he didn't even know he did it

Puto libro.
Ya me habían advertido, aún así... demasiado turbio.
Ni siquiera se puede catalogar en Dark romance, porque aquí no hay romance en ninguna parte. Por dónde se le mire, esto está mal.
El tipo no la ama y ella por supuesto, siente cualquier cosa por él menos amor.
Un hijo de la gran pu...que está obsesionado. Mata a sus padres, la secuestra, viola, golpea, le práctica un aborto, la entrega a otro por semanas para que la viole y abuse de todas las maneras inimaginables de ella. La obliga a casarse y luego cuando la pobre chica cree que está libre, que se pudo liberar de él...la encuentra y se la lleva.
Cuando me dijeron que se quedaban juntos, pensé que ella estaba loca para quedarse al lado de un tipo así. Al menos me queda el consuelo de que la autora no fue tan retorcida para hacer eso y lo que pasó es que se quedó en contra de su voluntad. Lo lamento por Tasha.☹️

NOT worth the high price, generic, bland and NOT dark
I had high expectations after a FB book group posting but I was left seriously dissatisfied and disappointed.
I'm being generous giving 3☆ and I certainly wouldn’t call it dark. Yes she's kidnapped and kept by Torin but it's pretty generic.
It's a huge fail there's so little about Torin, zero to tell us why he is the way he is, what makes him tick, really nothing except he had serious issues. Just a few short paragraphs of his thoughts...
Sagel seems rather naive and for a supposed 140 IQ she doesn't think her actions thru, making things even harder on herself. I get the desire to escape but even way down the track her logic is seriously lacking at times.
Huge chunks appear to be glossed over or explained by a single sentence, esp towards the end.
If this had been written with a 50/50 perspective it would have been much better. Even the 'hot' scenes are pretty basic and bland. His playroom gets glossed over and what is mentioned isn't remotely detailed. It's basic, with zero originality. It's pretty obvious the author didn't do much, if any, research into the possibilities a well-equipped playroom can offer.

Incluso ella nunca admitió estar enamorada de él.

I can say after reading this book that it’s really author’s first work 😦…
I was way too excited to read this book as I fell in love with her work recently..but this book was not at all good …
ML was way too cringe at the beginning.. he was acting like on of those frat boys 🤣…

She thinks she has a choice in the matter. It’s cute. And a little irritating. But I admire her will power. It’s been a while since anyone showed me rejection. As a matter of fact, every woman begins this game by throwing themselves at me, never understanding what I truly am.”
“I laugh softly, making sure to give a charming smile. Women are easily flustered by a smile and polite conversation. They never suspect anything until it’s too late. “I can help you to the bathroom, if you want,” I purr. She shakes her head though growing more and more flushed by the second. There’s a ping of irritation in my chest at her refusal but I push it down, reminding myself that I’m in public, and she has no idea who I am.”
